Almost two months ago, I made a post to share Mahmoud's fundraiser. Since then he only raised €500. Since then he also lost his uncle who was like a father to him.

He already lost so much, yet he is constantly posting on twitter to ask for help to evacuate Gaza, help his family and continue his studies. I cannot express how desastruous it feels to see his tweets gets thousands of views with no donations, imagine then how it must feel for him. Two weeks ago he was tweeting about how he finally got a €50 donation after days without anything. It has been months now that he express how he is losing hope and thinking of stopping, of not posting anymore because of the lack of help he receives. And since then nothing changed.

I am posting his campaign here in the hope that the tumblr community will be more receptive to his plight and not ignore him like so many are doing.

Please consider donating to Mahmoud and sharing as widely as possible his campaign. He is currently at €5,370/€10,000, so €4,630 left. Let's try to help him get to his goal as soon as possible!

A lot of very difficult and serious suffering happens to us. No one can understand or bear it. Today is a difficult day. My son Amir is in a very bad situation. Unfortunately, health centers and hospitals were destroyed. He is in a difficult situation. I have nothing left in this life except my family. This campaign is dedicated to treating Amir. Amir suffered from a lack of oxygen at birth and muscle relaxation. Amir's condition was very bad, but with physical therapy and physiotherapy, he finally started moving. Mahmoud's condition is very critical and he must go abroad for treatment. He was injured 3 days ago and underwent surgery to clean his head. The doctors are telling us that he needs to undergo a major operation to remove the shrapnel or fix it to the skull bone so that no nerves in the brain are cut off.

@iyadsobhegaza 's fundraiser has been stagnating for a while now. They lost a total of 11k when GFM deleted their previous fundraiser with no warning. They haven't even reached 2% of their goal yet.

Iyad and his wife are both elderly and they need to evacuate with their 8 children. Iyad suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes, and often his blood pressure rises without any medication to help him. Food and clean water are also hard to come by, and they have been displaced many times over. They need this money both to evacuate and for accessing essentials like tents, food, and medicine. Iyad's health is deteriorating, they are in pain, exhausted, and need to get out ASAP.

I cannot reiterate the urgency of their evacuation enough. This fundraiser has been stagnating for a month now and time is passing that they may not get back. They have to run from raids and bombs constantly and have been displaced more times than I can count. Please donate.
