Do you think Carla and Marzel (Carzel) is a good ship?

 Thank you for being so patient with me, anonymous, I shall finally provide you with an answer.

TLDR; It's a nice ship, they seem like they'd be cute together, I ship it mildly. But I would not accept any version of the ship that forces Carla to permanently become a sirena for the relationship to function.

 Personality wise, they match up pretty well. Marzel can be pretty stubborn and doesn't know a lot about land yet, but he's curious and willing to learn, he’s also fairly heroic and caring. Same with Carla, although I would say she's a tad more chaotic than he is, but that's only because she spent most of the series as an antagonist. Both of them have a similar sense of humor, which is always good for a relationship, and their color schemes go well together, so aesthetically they work too.

 The one problem I have with this ship is that some people insist Carla would have to permanently become a sirena, like Marzel's mother did, if they wanted to truly be together. That is absolutely ridiculous and frankly, it's a very unfair power dynamic.*

 Marzel can walk on land as well as swim in the water, so he doesn't even need to permanently stay in the water. The magic kelp is easy to get access to and allows humans to breathe underwater just fine. Even if they can't wear it for long term, we've seen plenty of different things in the show that cause temporary shape shifting. The Amulet of Avalor was able to transform Sofia into a mermaid whenever she wanted. Yes, I know the amulet is unique, but now with access to the crystal well they could definitely make something similar. Mateo is able to turn humans into jaquins temporarily for goodness sake.

 There are so many things that Carla loves on land that she wouldn't be able to do anymore if she was turned permanently into a sirena, like dancing and cooking (and they're her only canonical hobbies besides doing crime and sitting waiting for things)! Plus, it would be much harder to see her father and land friends.

 What if her and Marzel's relationship didn't work out? Then she'd be stuck all alone underwater and she'd be miserable. I don't think she'd take that kind of risk considering what happened with her own parents. So yes, I believe the relationship could work, but only if she wasn't turned permanently into a sirena.

*[It seems kind of fishy that some people automatically expect Carla to give up her life on land for this relationship, while no one has said that Marzel should give up his life underwater to be in a relationship with her. And don't say it's just because he needs to take the throne because his sister is just as capable of ruling as he is.]

Elena of Avalor Appreciation Week Tuesday: Darkness and Light

What do you headcanon for Carla's full name? I headcanon that her full name is Carla Elizabeth Rahela Delgado, (I headcanon that Victor's mother's ancestry was from a Romanian speaking kingdom, & the name Rahela is originally Romanian). What di you think?

That's a nice headcannon. I always think it's cool when people have two middle names instead of just one. What inspired you to choose the name Elizabeth though? It's a really nice name, I only wonder why you chose it specifically?

Sure! Here are my lil'buds :

Group photo! (Not all are shown here because I consider my full team to be larger than seven, since I can just rotate them around whenever I want.)

This is Fern, my starter! I didn't actually know what she'd look like when she evolved, since I tried to avoid any spoilers for new Pokémon in the game, so I was a little nervous at first with how she would look and what type she would become, but my fears were unfounded in the end. I just love my magician cat.

Skully the Clodsire, and Mariza the Finizen

These are the cute little guys and I absolutely 100% needed to have on my team as soon as I saw them. Scully is named that because of those little crossbones he had as a Wooper (By chance, he is the only male Pokémon on my team). Mariza is all I've ever wanted in a Pokémon ever since I was 8, she is adorable and sometimes she glitches on buildings and starts to fly into space ("So long, and thanks for all the fish").

Trenza the Dachsbun, and Imentet the Espathra

Trenza carried my team with a lot of type coverage and also carried it by being a very good girl, good dog, good bunbun. Imentet is here to fight enemies with the power of the setting sun (and a psychic laser she shoots from her mouth).

Anguila the Wugtrio, and Hawlucha (the currently unnamed) 

I love garden eels so much I needed the garden eel Pokémon so much. Hawlucha is the newest member of my team, she helps me beat normal types into the dirt. (I'm looking for name suggestions for her so feel free to suggest any).

Chien-Pao (exuberant ferret) and Chi-Yu (the sensible one)

I don't normally nickname my legendaries, so these two just have their regular names. Chien-Pao is the only member of my team fast enough to keep up with me while I'm riding Koraidon, so they follow me around the most. They will sporadically stab things then fall asleep at my feet. Chi-Yu is very pretty and melts things with fire.

Muffin the Naclstack, and my noble (and very goofy) Koraidon

Muffin is probably the strongest member of my team, she's got me through some tough fights with her salt powers and is so powerful that my files of direct pictures of her kept on going corrupt and refused to be transferred to the computer, so here’s a glitched overlaid picture of her instead. And finally, my very, very eccentric motorcycle dragon and my favourite box art legendary, (I'm so proud of them).

We never get to see what most of the characters were doing for Halloween in season 3 of Sofia the First, so this may as well have happened! (She has no idea how ironic this will be by the time of season 4). You can see Miranda in costume here.

Isabel:

Favorite thing about them: She tries to be cautious and find logical solutions to her problems. And sometimes her anxiety can overwhelm her but in the end she still carries on and succeeds.

Least favorite thing about them: The pink and yellow dress she wears as a formal dress in some of the earlier episodes, some people like it but for me the colours just really seemed to clash with each other on it.

BrOTP: Her friend group and her sister. Also Catarina.

Random headcanon: After the coronation day she starts a part time music band with Christina, Amara, Quique, and Olivia. She sings lead vocals and plays lead guitar(dion). Everyone just expected that it would be a cute little band that plays really happy songs but they surprised everyone when they instead played intense emotional ballads of angst. They were a huge hit. (Her family is concerned about this, but then she pointed out that it's her way of letting off steam as a teenager instead of doing something like overthrowing the kingdom or obsessive revenge. Esteban and Elena felt very called out but also couldn't disagree with her).

Unpopular opinion: Not so much about her personally but I believe that her first invention for moving the rocks in Class Act up the mountain (the crane) was a much better idea than just launching them at the top of the mountain. If there are any workers on top of the mountain while they are launching rocks then people could get seriously hurt, not to mention the shrapnel from the rocks splitting apart. And if they miss the shot at the top of the mountain then the rocks are going to end up flying off to who-knows-where including the town.

Favorite thing about them: She's very determined and is also a bit of a perfectionist. (Which I can relate to)

Least favorite thing about them: That she didn't have more screen time.

Random headcanon: One of her main hobbies is sailing and she's so good at it that she often steers the ship when her family goes out on the ocean. (She and Naomi would become fast friends if they met).

Song I associate with them: I don’t have a specific song, but if I did it would probably be a clarinet song since she can play it.
