His number one love language is acts of service. Weather is doing the dishes for you, cleaning something, helping with a small task when he can, giving you is coat whenever you're cold... The fact that he'll also give his life to protect you is a part of it. He would kill and die for you. LITTERALY.

His favourite love language to receive is words of affirmation. He won't ever admit it, but hearing how much you love him makes him all fuzzy inside. I think I really like it ! It does make sense.

Mad Eye is usually someone who never shows emotion, who is really closed, who's also bitter and rough. But it's due to all his years as an Auror. But even with that his personality matches Hufflepuff.

Hufflepuff traits are :

Loyalty : Moody is a loyal man. The bro went to TWO WAR for a man who is known for keeping things for him. He always stayed loyal tu Dumbledore and to the light side. Even when it literally destroyed his life, and physical and mental health.

Just : I think that justice is the thing that leads him go dedicate his whole life to help ppl

Hard-working : Do I have to explain this part ??

Patience : This one is tough but I think that his patience has decreased with the years

Fairness : The bro is an Auror. That's my fucking point

Some people argue with saying that Moody is a Gryffindor. But the traits are : daring, nerve, chivalry, courage, bravery and determination.

But that's doesn't match at all. He didn't dedicated his life to protect the magic world as an act of chivalry I think. But for helping people. I think his thoughts were utterly towards other people, and not about him bragging to "doing what's good" or looking cool.

So yeah. I love this hc (who's canon for me lol)
