namjoon revealed that the albums weren’t being released in order. (hence why Her was released 1st despite being second in the order of the acronym and phrase.)

Love Yourself: Her has the 承 symbol which is second character in the phrase 起承轉結 that they used for the Highlight Reel shorts. so it all connects. Her is second in the acronym WHAT and second in the HR phrase.  serendipity is the intro to her and the outro is self titled so that means :

起 - outro: Wonder (rapline) / intro: Euphoria (vocalist) 承 - outro: Her (rapline) / intro: Serendipity (vocalist=Jimin) 轉 - outro: Tear (rapline) / intro: Singularity (vocalist) 結 - outro: Answer (rapline) / intro: Epiphany (vocalist)

The story of Love Yourself is the journey of fighting within ourselves to find our true worth without wearing a mask that we think will be accepted by people around us. It is about loving ourselves, loving others, and letting other love us for who we really are. 

the truth untold is the feelings you can’t explain… when you love someone, it can hurt. it can hurt a lot. that one person can make you happy, angry, sad… they can make you feel complete but also like they’ve taken a piece of you that you can’t get back. love makes you feel as if that person was destined to come into your life, but you also feel naked and afraid. because they have that power over you. but you can’t help but love them… you love them even when it hurts, maybe it hurts because you love them so much and you don’t know what to do with such a strong emotion. it hurts because even though you should love yourself first, you can’t help but give them your everything. and even when they break your heart, little by little, you still want them.
