OC-cember Day 1: The Genre Moods

In case anyone actually cares about this issue, some good news: 227 migrants were rescued off the Canary Islands and 294 migrants were rescued off the coast of Italy yesterday/today.

It was in the news.

Haven't seen anyone talking about it on here for some reason so I thought I'd share!

Advian x Prince Olympius (The Genre Moods Lightspeed Rescue AU x Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue) (Note: This is a WIP for a love story in my Genre Moods AU. Things in this story for what I’m calling "Genere Moods vs Demons" story may or may not change once the official story is created, including the name of the story itself)

In a Nutshell: Enemies/Rivals to Lovers

Context: Advian and Olympius start out not liking each other when they first met (as they tended to provoke each other by making snarky comments and insults, especially with Advian calling Olympius a momma’s boy and vice versa with Olympius calling Ade a momma’s girl), but when Ade and her friends battled in a duel with the demons for the first time in a duel (like in the style of Episode 23 of Smile Precure/Glitter Force where they fight the villains separately (with Mason & Max fighting against Diabolico, Andrew fighting against Loki, Ruby fighting against Vypra, Cheerilee & Asher fighting against Jinxer, and Advian fighting against Olympius), except there's no big boss at the end), their relationship began to turn around for the both of them. During the fight, Ade and Olympius did their usual provoking with snarky comments and insults (especially their momma’s boy and momma’s girl insults), however, Olympius also had something else in mind: seduction. Aside from snarky comments and insults, he would also try shooting little flirts and compliments at Advian as he plans on trying to seduce her as a way to get her to let her guard down so that he could defeat her. But Ade obviously doesn't fall for this, as she is very much aware of Olympius' true intentions with the flirting and compliments. But she didn’t really expect the seduction part of it. Eventually, he gets ahold of Ade and holds her against him with his spear and teases her a bit through physical contact like putting his hands on her cheeks, moving his finger around her stomach, scratching her ears, and stroking her tail as if he is brushing it. This doesn’t faze Ade at first, as she is trying but unsuccessfully release herself from Olympius' grasp, but eventually, she gives into the seduction, which causes her to let her guard down and get all hot and bothered by it. As Olympius is close to finishing on seducing Advian so that he could land a powerful blow on her, in her mind, Ade (despite liking kinky stuff and kind of enjoying this) tries to snap herself out of it. She does struggle with this at first, but she does manage to snap out of it, but pretends to still be seduced so that she could land a surprise attack against Olympius. She asks Olympius to hold her and never let go, and he accepts her request, as he turns her around, picks her up, and hugs her. As they hug, Ade faces Olympius and asks him if she could tell him something, to which he says yes. She then told him "Olympius…thank you~…she is aware that he is trying to manipulate her as a way to get her to lose, though there were some points in the battle where the compliments and flirting did get to her, but not too much to the point where she lost focus. Well, it did, but only a couple times. When Advian and her friends beat the demons, each of them congratulated them for the battle, and as Ade congratulated Olympius for the battle, she used her powers to heal him after she shot him a few times with her pepper box pistol. As she shook his hand and admitted that he isn't too bad and put up a good fight against her, she felt a strange feeling inside of her, as if something blossomed like a beautiful flower (in other words, she ended up falling for Olympius, as his flirting and compliments (though manipulative as a way to get her to let her guard down) got to her, as if she was struck by an arrow through the heart behind her back; author's note: the "manipulative compliments, flirting and seduction" parts are in no way trying meant to romanticize manipulation, nor are they trying to glorify or normalize it; just thought I'd get that out of the way to avoid any confusion or misunderstandings).

Imagine worming your way into your villain f/o's heart.

Conversely, imagine you villain f/o doing anything in their power to get you to fall for them.

This series is (unpopular opinion I'm probs gonna get killed for) one of my favorite shows to watch, as well as one of my comfort shows. I've been a fan of it since I was in middle school and am still a fan of it to this day as a sophomore in college. While it does have its flaws, I still have fond memories of it and always will.

Fun Fact/Update: I was originally going to post a post (no pun intended) talking about a B10RB rewrite/au project of mine I'm developing called Ben 10 Reboot Reimagined, but I couldn't finish it in time for the 7th anniversary (which I truly apologize for), but I do plan on posting it sometime this month when I finish it.

2. Drawing and sometimes writing.

3. Fanfiction and fanart (that's isn't stolen)

5. History, etymology, mythology etc.

congress is debating right now (dec 15, 2022) whether or not to include KOSA in the end of year must pass spending bill. it's another horrible attempt at "protecting the children" that will lead to mass censorship and surveillance. no surprise there.

we have a chance to stop it, because if it passes it will gut the internet as we know it. there's more info about it in this post

please, if you have time, call these members of congress and tell them not to add it to the spending bill. it's urgent.

My name is _, and I strongly urge you to oppose KOSA from being added to the omnibus spending bill. Bills like this should not be included in spending bills. Over 90 human rights and LGBT organizations have spoken out against this bill.

The Heritage Foundation said they will use KOSA to target LGBT kids, specifically trans kids because it gives state attorney generals full power to restrict content they deem "harmful". In a post-Roe world, they will even use KOSA to censor resources on abortion, LGBT resources, and anything they dislike will be targeted. Republicans have called anything trans "grooming" which led to a shooting. We shouldn't give them this power online.

A bill this huge and this impactful should not be added to any spending bill. Even if it was a small bill, it has nothing to do with the omnibus spending bill and shouldn’t be added at ALL. It needs more time being discussed. There should be hearings on it as well

We all care about kids mental health. We all want to hold Big Tech accountable, but this is NOT it. This will give Big Tech more power while taking away resources from the most vulnerable children. It is not the solution.

Please, do NOT support this bill. Do the right thing, and VOTE NO on KOSA.

I'm currently making a survival book, its going to inclue everything you need to run, how to cross borders (only if necessary), the safest states right now, the unsafest states, how to protect yourself in a red area, what places to stay at if your running, nearby jobs and other ways to get money, what foods are best to get, how to make certain foods, electronic related advice, the safest messaging apps, what not to say in messages, guide to doctors if you have a uterus or are a women, what plants are safe to eat, various poisons, how to deal with cops, a map of the local area and where cops hang out, how to survive in the woods, clothes you should bring, what to do about your period if your on the run, methods of birth control and what's the best, how to legally change your name and the amount of money it costs, how to a car if your in a non walkable area, first aid tips, how to get and use a burner phone, what type of weapons you might need and how to use them, a guide on how to use most commonplace guns, chargers to use for any devices you might bring.

All of it, I've got multiple notebooks to I'm spreading it across them.

Results: One crossed off, three WIPs. Not bad, but I do feel like the results could've been handled a little better with enough focus. Oh, who am I kidding? I'm trying to go with the flow and here I am criticizing myself on not getting most of the things on my list done. The things that are MEANT to be fun, yet but putting too much in I'm kinda taking the fun out of it. Note to self: maybe add less plans to week plans so that I don't have too many plans to do.

I decided to do this after my last weekend plans didn't go too well, as I've only managed to two of the things of my weekend plans list 2/24 - 2/26. Those two being watching @rainbott's Spellmania series on their YouTube channel and watching Mindy Kaling's Velma on watchcartoononline.tv while also writing down ideas for my Velma rewrite on Google Docs. Plus, it felt like an episode in a show where there's too much crammed into a single or few episodes. So, I decided to do these plans I didn't get to do this week, at least hopefully, that is. If not, then next week it is.

Also, today's my 19th birthday!!! Happy Birthday to Me!!! :) ^^
