Aypierre's letter to Etoiles

Dear Etoiles,

I'm taking a moment to express my deep gratitude for the incredible journey that we have undertaken together in the world of adventure and exploration. Your courage, honor and rich culture have enriched my experience invaluably, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Since the start of our partnership, I have constantly been impressed by your fearlessness and your determination to push back the limits.

Your ability to face challenges with remarkable grace and resolution has been a source of inspiration for me many times.

Your honor and integrity are rare and precious qualities that I respect deeply. your commitment to our shared ideals and your willingness to always act with righteousness have strengthened our bond and contributed to forging an unshakeable trust between us.

Your culture, rich in tradition and in ancestral knowledge, has broadened my horizons and allowed me to see the world in a new and fascinating angle. Your tales and teachings have lit my way many times and made my journey even more memorable and significant.

However, I must also express my regrets for the Badlion incident. I recognize and deeply regret my actions of that day, and want to present my most sincere apologies. My behavior was unacceptable and in no way reflects the deep respect and admiration I have for you as a partner and as a person.

Despite this regrettable episode, I am convinced that our partnership will continue to prosper and grow, as I am admirative of your strength, wisdom and unshakeable ethics. I am honored to be able to walk at your side on this epic adventure, and I am impatient to see what the future has in hold for us.

(For anyone curious about the Badlion incident, Badlion is a PvP Minecraft server that Aypierre and Etoiles used to play on. Etoiles would always win when they fought, and one night after losing multiple times Aypierre turned on his autoclicker and managed to win. He was then promptly permanently banned from the server for cheating.)

Max and Aypierre : What they had in common, part II

And....I find things to had. So let's get to thé point.

Their issues :

They are not exactly the same but they complete each other REALLY well (for angst and drama ).

Abandonment issues for Aypierre. Obviously because of Ayrobot's story (left behind by his creator ) and because of how he took people who betrayed him when he is a Ride or Die type of person.

For Max.....Loss issue. Because of Dan's and Trumpet's death. Which led him to think that he has no right to be loved (even if he really want to ) AND how guilty he feels for the death of his son.

They complete each other ? One is afraid of being left, the other is afraid to loose someone. As we say in France, "CQFD".

And for that they BOTH do the same thing. Not letting people get too close of their heart. Max didn't at first (he wanted SO badly that someone come too close ) but with his leg....He closed his heart. Because no distraction, and maybe for protecting himself to loose someone again in conséquences of his doings. And protect the others too. He was thinking that their happiness HERE was FAKE and made by the Federation too, so no need to get attached to something they can easily take. For Aypierre, not talking clearly about what he feels, have a lot and a lot of one nights stands. His issues got better but when Max was away, his fear of being left came back and the way to deal with it was.....looking at the sky, hoping Max saw him, believing that he was in space, just like Roier told him. He probably knew it was FAKE but it was the only hope he has, so he clings to it. He builds the castle and begin to do again jokes as a way to hide his loneliness but NEVER wanted to cheat on Max too. Proof ? How he RUNS leaving everything behind at the Roier's hospital when someone told him he was and the feeling of how he miss him he confessed when people confront him about his jokes.

Their trust :

They are BOTH Ride or Die person. They would do everything they can for people they trust. Even deals with their enemy (Cucurucho for the Super Computer that Forever wanted ).

But betray them and.........They stay attached. Yes, Foolish betrayed him, but Max never really truly hate him. Yes, Max hurt him but if he wants to stay friends, and maybe more, then, let's go. Yes, Aypierre cut him, but he is going to die so no hate in the afterlife and if it helps him to get over....

They CAN'T hold a real grudge against people they loved. Too nice, BOTH of them.

They will protect themselve of an another betrayal, but they never really CUT the cord.

Their jokes :

It was often a competition between them such as "Who will embarrass the other the most" and at this...... They BOTH succeed. And for this, they must have a similar sense of jokes. Most of the time, one lead the other further more, etc etc... Aypierre was the cringiest because that's what he loves thé most, but Max was really good at keeping up and probably the only one who can.

And..... That's all for today. If I have another points I will add them, again.

There is something that really sadden me EVERY single time I see it. It's the fact that almost every posts about Soulfire tend to forget about Q!Aypierre / Q!Ayrobot in it.

Because, yes, he was. And yes he thought Q!Tubbo as a traitor as Q!Ayrobot took control but why is really important.

Yes, there was a huge part in saving his own life and winning, but he also....wanted to make sure his side live. He was not the type to think that both side will live if egality in score. So he choses to help.

More proofs ? Okay. When Q!Bad try to joke about joining the other side, he shows almost immediately his weapon.

During last day, he was with the others, trying to protect and assist his leader.

Q!Aypierre, like the others is tied to Soulfire.

Not in a naive way, in a way of survival for Q!Ayrobot, more in terms of misfortune company for Q!Aypierre, and absolutely in a extreme degree, probably because of recent betrayal and abandonment he felt just before Purgatory (put someone recently betrayed AND a robot who has also been betrayed before in Purgatory, not surprising that betrayal don't sound good at all for them and they will absolutely search for people who will not abandon them and Purgatory when survival depends on your team tend to ease this feeling....and you will make sure it tends to, at all cost ) And since he is one with Q!Ayrobot now, he probably put some influence in not wanting to abandon his team.

But don't get me wrong. Both of them because of their past and their experience on this type of game stay a little bit wary of their team and if anyone of them try to kill them, they will defend themselve and try to take revenge. It will have worsen even more Q!Aypierre's trust in his friends and he would have been able to betray them for survival since he will not have trusted them anymore. But at this point, only speculations. Back to facts.

As you can understand with what I just said, he valued trust the most in Purgatory. For them, the promise of the Eggs Attack (not attacking Eggs) was his trust on others teams. They betrayed it, he lost it and let the survivor take control (Q!Ayrobot ). So what linked him to others in was trust. And Soulfire put trust in him and he put trust in them to the point of becoming extreme with it. If one of them betray Soulfire he will have killed him / her without hesitation.

Sequel to Purgatory ? He wasn't there during the "coach" episode and with what happened with Q!Tubbo during Purgatory (the young naive knight VS the old retired who see too much veteran ), he was not so attached to Q!Tubbo as the others were, but in emergency cases, he will absolutely work in tandem with him and give what he asks just as he did in Purgatory. Other consequences ? Reinforce again a relationship and opening a long serie of moments of them united in things (prisons, mischiefs acts....).

"Now Q!Bad, it's me and you against the whole world if needed".

Aypierre did say these words or at least a paraphrase of them - when he and Bad were talking around the furry fight cage about those that they missed
