A Mother’s Plea: Help Us Survive And Protect My Unborn Child

If you are seeing this, please consider helping my friend Mahmoud's (who is also a cat lover and the boops remind me of him!) 17 family members in Gaza. They have 10 children with them and things are getting really bad. They are struggling to buy food because food can get up to 7900% more expensive than usual! Due to a lack of money, the children are suffering from constant diarrhea and stomachaches due to malnutrition and the contaminated food and water they have to consume!

There are also 3 babies among Mahmoud's 17 family members. The youngest of them, baby Meryem, was only born a few months ago . Mahmoud's sister gave birth to the baby with the sound of bombing around her, with no medical personnel or medical resources available. Hence, she almost died giving birth to the baby! While she luckily survived, she is still suffering from many infections due to the difficult birth. But they don't have money to buy medicine!

They also have no shelter now because their tent was completely destroyed in a bombing! Nothing to shield them from the winter cold and the rain!

In light of our miserable conditions, my son Abboud contracted hepatitis as a result of drinking contaminated water, and he and Sarah were deprived of their right to enroll in kindergarten, nursery, or other educational institutions. In addition, due to the circumstances and lack of income, necessary benefits such as milk are not provided to baby Lara. My son Aboud has become unable to speak and articulate because of the fear and terror we are experiencing. My source of livelihood was destroyed. Nader is 17 years old and his family is in Gaza facing dire circumstances. Food is scarce, prices are high, and there are shortages in water. They, like countless others suffering during this war, have already had to relocate many times, and their home is destroyed. They do not have enough money to safely relocate right now, or a stable source of income, as places of work have been destroyed.

Any amount of money can help Nader and his family escape this destruction.
