rambling about hen and tommy again but this is another song that makes me think of them!!! especially the first two verses (?), as in my headcanon, henrietta’s father is dead and in canon, thomas’ mother is dead. charlie would’ve been 9-12 years older than the both of them, so while he’s sorta like a brother figure to hen (and tommy’s actual brother), it’s harder for the two of them to really connect to him when they’re young. so they only really had each other to relate to at first. mmm ok bye!!!
