clara dao getting a boob job was definitely a big eye opener for alot of flat chested womyn about boob jobs.
for context, she was a tiktok body positivity type influencer with a flat chest. she was a big inspiration to alot of flat chested girls, but after she gained popularity she got a boob job.
i love how people have been reacting to this tbh. how dare she use flat chested womyns insecurities to buy her boob job!
this is just reinforcing the belief that being flat chested as a womyn is in some way a flaw and needs fixing.
if the definition of "womyn" is "an adult human person with a desire to be in accordance with the particular set of cultural and social norms typically associated with the female sex",
what are the things associated with us that youre talking about? thats just a fancy way of upholding gender stereotypes.
further, if a womyn from an area/time that still views womyn as property said she wanted to be in accordance with how the MALE sex is treated in her society to escape her oppression, would that make her transgender?
would that make her less of a womyn?
saying becoming genderfluid was when you stopped trying to force yourself into conventional womyn standards is odd to be common within 'progressive' communities because those traditional beauty standards arent actually based on any fact. you shouldnt base your womynhood on if you like makeup or dresses or long hair because they are all stereotypes.
i dont believe most womyn actually like being 'feminine'. heels are uncomfortable, makeup is time consuming and difficult, dresses/skirts require you to sit awkwardly in order to not flash people, etc..
saying you arent a womyn because you dont conform to harmful stereotypes is just affirming them in a different way.
being a gnc womyn is powerful. you dont have to not identify as a womyn to not conform to toxic beauty standards.
Top response is by a male. Other responses are from women. Presented without comment.
holy fuck BISEXUALS?? oh my GOD
TLGB is correct I think. I think we never should have let them put transes after bisexuals. After BISEXUALS.
βitβs another culture, be respectfulβ idgaf π if itβs oppressive to women, itβs a problem, i donβt care if itβs ur customs. girls having to cover themselves, not being allowed to go to school, being violated, not being allowed to be heard, literally being all around disrespected but you expect me to just be cool about it because βitβs cultureβ.
women do not deserve to be treated as lesser than in the name of anything. idc if itβs your religion, i donβt care if itβs tradition, itβs a bunch of bullshit.
same thing with non-binary womyn. wanting to escape womynhood is so SO normal but basically no one in our world understands being a womyn means nothing but being an adult human female. not conforming to sexist assumptions and stereotypes doesnt make you not a womyn
I wonder if women who identify as men see males as the "basic, default person" in a way. TIFs dysphoria sometimes begins with discomfort toward their breasts because they've been sexualized, or the trauma inherent in puberty and getting their period, or the expectation to wear makeup or objectifying clothing - and then they think, "Well, men don't have breasts or periods. They don't have to wear makeup or clothes like that."
I wonder if it's less about truly "feeling like a male" and more about seeing the male as the standard person who does not have all these additional problems and expectations and identifying with that.
consent accident β οΈ jesus christ what is he? a child?
Notice how tumblr users were delighted at conservatives "showing class consciousness" regarding the ceo shooting and regularly praise misogynists and even rapists for their pro-trans statement, but are awfully upset when they find out they agree in any capacity with those they label "terfs".
