Waiting for the right Tumblr user to find you and hoping it works is trusting fate. While Fetlife is a sewer, it's at least regionally organized and some of the subgroups are pretty good. You may have better luck where there are more fish.

I tried that, was worse than Tumblr. At least here there's some interaction with people commenting, liking and chatting. On FetLife I got nothing.
