eternally thinking about how the plot of re-animator is driven by dan's devotion to herbert and the plot of bride is driven by herbert's devotion to dan
danbert is not weirdo4normie it's weirdo4weirdo. dan is normie passing but trying to fix herbert made him 10x worse. and it didn't even take that much. herbert was a living tbh creature and immediately dan did anything he asked. when he didn't like what herbert was doing he gave in with the weakest of protests. herbert tried to seduce him into helping by detailing the origin of every body part of the bride and thinking he'd find it sexually attractive. which is fucking insane and would not work on anyone except for dan. it's like herbert was magnetically attracted to most easily manipulated student who was three bad decisions away from becoming his personal malewife. all while herbert is a man without any charisma or social skills. they both fucked up severely by falling in love with the other and becoming codependent despite never agreeing on anything. they live in a house together that was a former mortuary even though they're both fully-paid doctors. they're freaks made for each other it's fantastic
So SICK of men and their slutty little waists.
Sacred is the carnal and blessed is the profane.
The purpose of the living is to live.
Frothing at the mouth etc etc
And then we shall go to the City of Night and Distant Stars.
