to ICE: fuck off and eat curb.
don't open the door.
ask for the warrant signed by a judge
ask for a lawyer
don't sign shit
don't answer a single question
they need a warrant. ask them to slide it under the door. no warrant, no entry. ask for an interpreter. it's your right to understand what's going on. don't answer a single question. that whole "anything you say can and will be used against you" is true. tight lips = ICE shits. lawyer the fuck up. do some research on immigration lawyers in your city / state. and don't sign anything. nothing.
your employer needs to share your employment eligibility, but they don't have to say shit about your immigration status to ICE. always know your individual rights.
Good morning. This might be my last message from the city of Rafah. The occupation [Israel] is carrying out crazy fire. Violent belts. As you’re hearing, there are helicopters. Planes and gunfire from the vehicles. There’s a complete invasion of the city.
We don’t know what is going on in Rafah. The place that the occupation [Israel] claimed to be safe. This is happening all of a sudden; the people didn’t go out. They didn’t do anything. More than thirty targets were hit in just minutes. People were asleep. We woke up to the bombing, to the shooting from the helicopters. It was horrifying. Unacceptable. This might be my last message. Please relay it to the world.

Rafah was Palestinians’ very last safe zone. There is quite literally nowhere else left to go. And now it’s being bombed with airstrike after airstrike.

"ur so quiet" thanks i am trying not to exist at aII
something a lot of people need to internalize and stop doing is leaving comments on social media lamenting how you are worried about your relative or relative's relative or friend or friend's friend or friend's relative's family re: deportation.
i've seen way too many comments on tiktoks or instagram filled with personal details of, "i am worried about [relation to person] who lives in [specific name area] because they are [immigration status/allusion to immigration status]".
you all have to STOP posting shit like this online. on social media. it WILL be seen by the wrong eyes. you are essentially doing the job for ICE.
i do not care how vague you are: stop giving away ANY information online that can help the feds in any fucking way. it is not being part of the resistance to out people around you. keep your mouth fucking shut, keep details to yourself, and keep those around you SAFE and PROTECTED.
I am so sorry and sad to have woken up to this news, Hind's body was found alongside the two medics who went to rescue her, after 12 days.
Hind was killed. And Israel continues its crimes without consequences.
you know it's propaganda when you read an article about a law being proposed where the messaging is like
"we're passing this law to protect [marginalized group]!"
and then you read further and it's like
people supporting law: - cops - business owners - gentrifying developers - local reactionary on twitter who is being quoted in an article for some reason
people opposing law: -every single member of the marginalized group that a reporter can find to speak to
"In conclusion: Though the law aims to protect [marginalized group] it remains controversial!"
For those of you that keep trying to say that boycotts don’t work or that boycotts are only symbolic or that current and previous boycotts have not actually had an impact on the stances of companies like puma or Starbucks , I genuinely encourage you to do some research on the Israel Anti-Boycott Act and the anti bds act. And while these have not become federal law, they have garnered enough support so that 27 states have adopted anti-boycott laws that explicitly prohibit businesses from boycotting or endorsing boycotts of Israeli products and goods. I would also encourage you to look at what happened to Airbnb when it tried to take a stance on Israeli occupation.
So while, you may not personally believe that boycotts work, our federal and state governments absolutely believe that they work so much so that they are not only orchestrating social pressures to keep businesses from participating, but actually in many cases creating legislation Prohibiting boycotts because they believe that’s how effective they are.

Nothing screams ahistorical more than pinning this ongoing devastation in Gaza on October 7 alone.
What this purposely ignores is the fact that there was no "October 7" in 2008/9, when Israel's aggression in Gaza killed 1,385 Palestinians. There was no "October 7" in 2014 either, when Israel's aggression against Gaza killed 2,251 Palestinians. There was no "October 7" that lead to the Israeli aggressions in Gaza in 2012, 2021 or 2022, nor in the many years before which were filled with Israeli massacres and ethnic cleansing all the way to 1948 and beyond.
This of course attempts to paint Israel's disproportionate violence as retaliation when in fact it is a continuation of its terror and brutality. October 7 is not the context. Colonisation is.
