the sexy girlbots are returning. nature is healing
Tumblr users have the same energy as Gotham citizens who refuse to move away after the fifth supervillain attack in a week.
At some point, staying becomes a weird badge of pride.
Myself included tbh
i absolutely adore that kuras' first line is "do not be afraid" like bbg if i opened my eyes to a man as fine as you, i do not think i would be afraid in the slightest. in fact, i might be a bit smitten
"ai is making it so everyone can make art" Everyone can make art dipshit it came free with your fucking humanity
Me entering any museum: man I’m so excited to learn all the things

sorry but. jason was, in the end, just another unlucky person that died at the joker’s hands. we can talk about how his last moments were heroic (throwing himself at the bomb to protect sheila) or about how his search for love was what got him killed (bruce’s perceived rejection pushing him to go looking for sheila in the first place), but it doesn’t change that his death wasn’t something epic. it didn’t matter.
So the splash art thread for our newest arrival on league is quite... something. Hwei is probably the most sickly pale soggy wet pathetic tormented artist character archetype I have ever seen. The man looks like he is sustaining himself on coffee and angsty overthinking alone.
Reception has been... unusual to say the least, but it seems positive so far?
Jason "growing" by learning not to kill and becoming like every other vigilante: boring! just folding him back into the status quo! go on dc give us nothing!
Jason growing by being entrenched even further into victimhood and what that means, being explicitly written as the voice of victims who aren't forgiving, who want blood to pay for blood: yes perfect please.
I really think everyone needs to truly internalize this:
Fictional characters are objects.
They are not people. You cannot "objectify" them, because they have no personhood to be deprived of. They have no humanity to be erased. You cannot "disrespect" them, because they are not real.
