Where an already endangered species is on the brink of functional extinction...
Oh, and 500 million animals unique to this country have already lost their lives, upon homes that have been destoryed and lives lost of people as well...
I mean... we're only living in a literal inferno...
415 fires. Fuck are we dying...
Oh yeah and people are just fleeing to the damn ocean, you know?
Do you want to know what Hell on Earth looks like..?
Because there it is in all it's unfiltered, firey rage...
There it is... my home from space...
This is only the beginning. Our country has not only entered a new decade, it seems a new dawning era as well, because this flaming apocalypse doesn't show any sign of stopping any time soon.
And you know what saddens me? I've never seen Australian tragedies trending here on this website. I mean it's been going on for months and only now does it seem to really be getting recognized, even if it is only at #9.
And I'm going to be honest with you here - the internet, and media in general is so American centric, this website being no exception. You'd think that an entire continent being on fire for several months with devastating consequences would have more recognition, but no, it really doesn't. The most notes I've ever seen on a post about the Australian fires is at least a few thousand, and that's about it.
So just... please. If you can, with this post or any other post in regards to the fires going on down here, reblog. Because the only thing that should be spreading like wildfire, is a post about a burning country...
3-D bioprinting is a highly-advanced manufacturing platform that allows for the printing of tissue, and eventually vital organs, from cells. This could open a new world of possibilities for the medical field, while directly benefiting patients who need replacement organs.
Instead of waiting for a suitable donor or having the risk of their body rejecting a transplanted organ, 3-D printed organs allow patients to have a customised organ fabricated specifically to replace their faulty ones. However, even with headway that 3-D bioprinting has made in the last two decades, it is still lacking significant strides in order to produce complex 3-D biomimetic tissue constructs.
According to researchers from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Asia University, tissue culture techniques in particular require accelerated progress to address the bottleneck of maturing bioprinted multicellular 3-D tissue constructs into functional tissues. Their research paper, titled âPrint me an organ! Why are we not there yet?â has been published in the Progress in Polymer Science.

Thatâs Louis Rossman, a repair technician and YouTuber, who went viral recently for railing against Apple. Apple purposely charges a lot for repairs and you either have to pay up or buy a new device. Thatâs because Apple withholds necessary tools and information from outside repair shops. And to think, we were just so close to change.

There are a lot of absolute idiots in the comments saying things like âa good dog will never hurt a babyâ and âthe child is never to blame if the dog attacksâ and âspecial snowflakes call everything abuseâ
Listen here you fucktards: dogs. Are not. Fucking. People. They donât operate by human logic. They donât follow human moral codes. It has nothing to do with it being a âgood dogâ or not. If you were getting hit and pulled on and punched and scratched constantly, you just might react. A dog canât speak up and say âhey please stop that youâre hurting meâ. What he can do is move, lunge, bite, etc. These actions might intentionally or unintentionally harm your child. Use your fucking head and donât let your kid beat up on your dog no matter how many times heâs âtaken itâ before; you never know when he might snap. Donât teach your kids itâs OK to treat animals like punching bags and theyâll never react. Thatâs immensely unfair to both the animal and the child. You could have a hurt or dead child and a euthanized dog because you were fucking dumbass who thought the dogs were just there to be treated like toys.
Same goes for cats and any other pet. Teach your child how to properly treat animals or donât have any fucking animals.

âWhen the master faces external difficulties, he seeks a way to get through them inwardly, rather than externally. In short, he readies his mind to withstand the shock. No, let me restate that. Without rushing to ready itself, his mind is always positioned, so that his inner self will not be disturbed. He has already prepared his mind so that no matter the misery or the fate, he could still be happy. Therefore, he has no need to seek a solution in the external world. His corporeal defenselessness, which appears so precarious, actually has little effect on his spirit.â
