We have just learned that unfortunately there will be no new chapter of vanitas this month T ^ T, because Jun Mochizuki is sick. I wish her to recover as soon as possible. Hi everyone! I hope you are good despite everything that is happening at the moment. At least season 3 is coming soon !! So I made a drawing illustrating Magica in her childhood. I admit having imagined a past where witch hunts are still present and therefore that she should have hidden her powers. I really hope we learn more about this character!

Speculation time

Okay; what I prefer in series are foreshadowings or when a sentence / action echoes another sentence / action that will occur in another episode.

So I can't help looking for some.

And I noticed that since the start of season 3, Varian has (or sometimes almost) fallen into the void, several times, and ends up being saved inextremist.

On the 7 episodes in which he appears, he misses falling into a vacuum (sometimes several times) in 4 episodes:

Episode 1: 1 time, he misses being thrown overboard

Episode 5: well... he fall from the small boat but I don't count it

Episode 6: none, but he just appears as a child, he wasn't really important in this episode

Episode 8:none, but he wasn't really important in this episode ever

Episode 9: 1 time, when the shell escapes Rudiger and Max, and it starts to fall (however, there, he was in company, so I don't know if we can really count it)

Episode 10: 3 times, once when he is on his way to Demanitus' machine with Rapunzel. The other times by climbing the rocks to reach the black rock

Episode 13-14: 2 times, once in his nightmare with Zhan tiri and when he gets carried away by the power wave of rapunzel and cassandra

However in each episode where we focus on him we are entitled to a scene where Varian risks dying from a fall in the void, with a plan on him falling

So I was wondering, is this just a detail, to build up the pressure during the episode or is it a foreshadowing of the end that awaits Varian. Someday, he will fall but for good this time

Maybe it's just extrapolation but I tell myself that the series is written well enough to put things like this in place:

There are also other times when Varian falls, in season 1 when he sings and when he goes to get the flower with rapunzel but since the start of the season 3 it's doesn't stop.

There is also this moment from season 1. I know that Varian isn't falling here (on the contrary),

but I have a feeling of similarity: varian is attracted to a potentially lethal center I don't know if you see. And when I saw this scene for the first time I always thought that it would return later in the series. Also the color of the device is green like the one wich is associated to Zhan Tiri, wich can reinforce the theory where Varian is linked to Zhan Tiri or will be involving with him. Maybe it's Zhan Tiri who is going to make Varian fall. But it's maybe nothing.

Maybe if he is linked to Zhan Tiri, he will be forced to fall from somewhere because it would be a sort of sacrifice???

Or maybe Varian will fall but of his own free will, to save everyone

Here is Varian and Eugene with …. glasses !!! Who has not dreamed of seeing them wearing glasses? Huh? Well, I admit I was inspired by the theme of vanitas no carte of this month. And, I realized when I was doing the color that Varian already had a huge pair of glasses X) but hey is not he cute with ^^

The character of Varian is really one of the deepest in the series. This episode gave me so much idea! I also have to practice drawing whole body -, -

Hopes and thoughts for the episode "day of the animals"

So I want to share some thoughts. After finishing writing this post I wondered if the debates of my thoughts really interested other X) but since it is written, let's go.

I'm waiting for tomorrow's episode with a lot and strange impatience, I do not know why, it's just the synopsis that intrigues me a lot.

This whole story of magical prison intrigues me a lot, maybe more than it should X).

But here since it is the episode that precedes the dreaded episode "be afraid", I like to think that this episode will be a bit important since it is preparing the next episode.

Is this magic protection caused by cassandra? Or the ghost girl, it is said that they will be present but they can very well be there at the end of the episode as in previous ones.

After, I have 2 hopes for this episode,

1.I really hope that Varian is present in this episode. Nothing says it will not be there and nothing says there will be but doubt is allowed since it is not mentioned in the cast of the episode

However, he was also not mentioned in today's episode, nor in "The Lost Treasure of Herz Der Soone" and yet he played a more or less important role.

And I do not know, I'm not saying that an episode can not do without Varian, but he has disappeared for a whole season, it's normal to want to see him evolve into a new situation. Especially after what he has gone through, there is still the potential to exploit the case of Varian's redemption and forgiveness, for I doubt that everyone has forgiven him so quickly or that he is no longer anxious by his fear of not being able to be forgiven.

Then I really want to see him interact with the rest of the cast. And I feel that his presence will make the episode more interesting, after all the black rocks and the moon stone will also be there (obviously since Cassandra should be here too).

Bref

2. Second hope, captain of the guard. It is said that he should appear. Finally! Since the return of Rapunzel, I wondered where was he? I had read somewhere that he had gone on a mission, but there is nothing sure at all (probably false) ...

I can not wait to see how he manages his daughter's betrayal toward the princess. The captain really likes his daughter, we know it. Even so, he had trouble expressing his emotions, he repeatedly proved that he cared for his daughter.

I can not wait to see how he deals with all that, did he go looking for his daughter?

I hope that the crew will not miss the opportunity to deepen the character of the guard or just fly over, but I trust.

In addition, it will be interesting to see all the animals cooperate together and save the day

Theory time

So I was looking at some pictures of Varian (until then, everything is normal) but something about Varian's scarf seemed familiar to me.

And it hit me like a flash, just how much I think the pattern on the varian scarf looks like Zhan Tiri's mouth, especially the teeth.

They are not exactly the same, but the resemblance is interesting. Is it a forshadowing on a possible link between varian and zhan tiri and can be his involvement and his role with her latter?

Where is the captain when his daughter is struggling with her past and all alone with a creepy blue girl who is clearly manipulated her with her fears and her doubts

I do not know why I think so much of their meeting, and I do not know if I'm the only one that intrigues but with all the anger and resentment that Varian had against Rapunzel and the Corona kingdom, he could have easily exploited the power of moonstone; since the latter seems to work with these emotions.

Yeah I still want Varian to have a link with the moon or Zhan Tiri...

I really liked episode's today, BUT can we talk about this photo ?!

First, how did Glomgold get this picture, well after it's the only Flintheart Glomgold.

But most importantly, the photo itself, there is Launchpad and Gyro and Beakley! I guess it's supposed to be a family photo ... FAMILY.

And know that Scrooge included them in his family even if it has already been shown, it is so nice to see it in (small) details like this

My heart, just look at Scrooge's face! He is so happy to have them! And the way his hand rubs Louie's head and his protective arm behind Dewey and Webby, huh it was truly great.

I wonder when this picture was taken .... Surely after Shadow war and before Della's return since she is not on the picture, but where are Duckworth and Donald? Maybe Duckworth just can not appear on the pictures since he is a ghost. And maybe the photo has been taken after Donald's left. After this photo was used to gather the enemies of Scrooge so there was not to be a different number between the 2 families.

I wonder if there is a reason why Magica often calls herself a monster or it's just because she's a "bad guy".
