woke up this morning, rolled over, and very confidently tried to blow out my alarm clock like a candle. absolutely no precedent for that.
Ok so I’ve been loving brilliant minds and one of the things I find ridiculous and stupid because they didn’t need to do that to her character, is Erika sleeping with her coworker. Because then she says to him that she wants it to be a secret and doesn’t want to be known as the girl who sleeps with her coworkers.
Surely the reasonable thing to do would be to, idk, NOT SLEEP WITH YOUR COWORKERS?
You don’t want to be known for that? Then maybe don’t?
The fact that this fits so well ahhhh
Was scrolling through AO3 and found this gem
Enemy to parent is a trope we have to popularise lmao
young man. what is that you have found.
I said young man. you picked it up off the ground.
I said young man. you should put that thing down.
I don't think! that! you! should! eat that!
I genuinely think the writers were at least hinting at Kaziver in S1 of Mighty Med, but Disney told them to tone it down.
YES! This is something that I often think about. Modern media doesn’t excite me that much when there’s romance. I’m a sucker for communication and I get so frustrated these days.
My taste in romance has less to do with how romantic the relationship actually is (though that is a bonus) and more to do with how interesting I find the dynamic between the couple. Which is why fluffy vanilla romance usually bores the hell out of me. I want to see how these characters dramatically affect each other and fundamentally change each other and their individual understandings of the world!!! I want to see a beautiful tie-in between the romance and the themes + messages of the story and how it all builds to a climax!!!
She/TheyI’m part of many fandoms and part of few very small ones.
