Felix had always walled himself up to not love again and be fooled by it again. Not again, never again, but why? After building up this façade, why is it crumbling to his feet? Right, it's because of her.
A beacon of light and love. Her dark blue hair is as deep as the color of the depths of the ocean where one can swim too deep and drown by its beauty. Her bluebell eyes that are as light as the sky that can make anyone think that they were falling down from heaven as you stare deep into them. Her warm bubbly feeling that can make anyone cozy up with her and let their guard down without their knowledge.
Ever since she transferred here and joined his circle of friends he can't help but feel drawn to the warm sweet atmosphere. He can't have it again. He doesn't want to put his heart on the line again only to be broken into millions of tiny pieces like how she had. He doesn't want to hurt again with that knowledge of not getting his chances since she is already desperately in love with his dim witted cousin.
He then turned his attention to his friends who were chatting happily over lunch. Talking about some silly antics that had happened during class. But he couldn't help but watch her close her eyes as she laughed and cover her mouth. The sound of her sweet laughter was, how would the books describe it, music to his ears, tiny sweet bells that sounded at an hour of beauty. He watched as his friend Claude balanced an orange on the tip of his nose, as Allan subtly made it fall by accidentally jabbing his side.
He continued to watch the bluenette smile and laugh, not noticing the subtle glances Allegra was giving him. The bell rung, signalling the students that they had 30 minutes before classes began again. This made his friends get up and take their trays and brought it to the counter.
"Well, see you guys later," Marinette said to her friends as she headed to the art department wing for her lesson. As she left, she didn't notice the penetrating stare the blond had fixated on her back. But the blond didn't notice the looks his three friends were sharing as a grin crossed each of their faces. Felix turned around to be greeted by these suspicious grins as he let a scowl cross his face, knowing what the three would say.
"No," was all he said to the three as he stalked away. "Come on Fe. We know that you know that you like her," Allegra told him as she walked with him. "Allegra, stop it. You know that I will not love again nor put myself to it after how the past had ended," he said his petty reason. "This is not like you dude. The Felix I know would not let the past be the reason for fear and ignorance," Allan backed. "No one will ever be worth my time in that aspect. And it doesn't help that she looks like her," Felix replied in distaste of his words.
"You know that she's the earth and heaven to you. You can't just run away from your feelings cause your bad at hiding these kinds of feelings," Claude spoke. The four continued walking until they were outside the building for their food and lockers. "I have learned my lesson in loving Claude. I will not throw myself back into this cliche and have what is left in my heart torn into pieces," Felix replied as he tried to keep his face in pure frustration and his thoughts in denial. However, it wasn't entirely working mostly because of this conversation.
"You can't deny it bro, we can read you better than others and all that we can see is a lovesick puppy thinking that it was just the meat," Allan said as Allegra kept on rolling her eyes at Felix's answers. "Hon, we're not buying your bs right now. We all saw how you change around her. You definitely care for her and ever since she cracked you, you began to grow it," Allegra added. "Grow what?" Felix asked getting irritated at his friends persistent jabbings. "A love sickness that you obviously have bad," she continued with her banter.
"That is highly impossible. I am not interested in Marinette in a romantic way," Felix said trying to wrap his words in ice. "Oh, hi Netta, didn't see you there," Claude said which caused Felix to turn his attention to where the boy was, only to find their school mate Antoinette pass by. But Felix couldn't help but let a sigh of relief and disappointment cross his face. But when he turned he was faced with a poster of Marinette and her club's saying that they would be exhibiting their art and a small pageant for the young designers that will be held tomorrow, February 14. He couldn't help but stare at the bright eyed designer in her cute sailor outfit. He couldn't help but let his fantasies run wild until someone broke him out of it. "If you ask someone right now, they would definitely say that you have it bad," Allan commented as Felix scoffed. As he tried to deny and tell his treacherous heart to shut up and let his head think.
He then faced his friends with a glare and said, "Claude your department's that way." Claude then let out a huff and rolled his eyes at the blond and went to the direction Felix had been pointing. "But just face it and say that you're in love," he said as he continued walking. This made him roll his eyes at his friend and caught the scoffs of the other two. "You two just go before me. I need the bathroom," he stated as he made his way to the closest restroom. Once inside, he went into a cubicle, locking it and resting his back at the door as his stared at the ceiling. He sighed and dropped his head letting his thoughts run back to the past.
...
"Hey Felix~~," a bubbly voice called from behind. Irritation crossed his mind as he recognized that voice. The said owner of the voice took a seat next to him as he quietly made his research in the library. "What are researching on?" the bluenette asked as she looked over his notes. Annoyed by her antics, he closed his notebook and the other books as he began packing to leave the insistent girl.
But this did not stop her as she stood up from her seat and went in front of him and waved two tickets directly at his eyes. "I was wondering if you don't have anything to do later, we can go to the theatres and watch this new movie, you know the one about 'The Little Prince' I saw you reading the book and I wondered if you would like to watch it. I'd even allow you to rant about it," she said in a hopeful tone. He then saw his friend at the back giving out yes signals. He let out a sigh and said, "Fine I'll go." This made the girl smile and jumped for joy as she gave him the details.
This was the start of the simple dates and happy experiences and, to his astonishment, love. Yes, after getting to know the bubbly happy girl he started developing feelings for the young girl. After about 10 dates he finally asked her to be his girlfriend. This made the girl tear up and engulf him in a tight hug after giving him a loving kiss on the cheek.
They had such a good relationship, it even got him out of his shell, slightly. He would be caught flirting in public and show a bit of PDA. He couldn't help it, he loved her deeply and wished that their relationship would last. He loved everything about her; her personality, her blue eyes, her long dark blue hair that were tied in twin tails.
Today was their second year anniversary, they were at the Ponte des Arts, just enjoying their time as they ate ice cream. He looked at the girl at his arm and smiled as he softly spoke, "Bridgette." She then gave a hum of response and looked up at him with a half smile. This made his heart drop as he realized that there was something troubling him. "Is there something bothering you?" he asked, scared of her answer. This made the girl sigh and let go off his arm as she took his hand and looked directly into his eyes. "Do you love me, Felix?" she asked, tad uncertain. This made his eyes widen and took both of her hands and kissed her knuckles and replied, "Truly, deeply, ardently and all the words that can increase the meaning of my love for you."
As he said that he notice a hint of heartbreak pass in her eyes. Just as he feared she lowered her gaze and removed her hands from his, as she stared at the ground. He then watched her eyes well up with tears as she brought her hands to her face to cry in. This caught him off guard as he put his hands on her arms wanting to hug her. But she pushed him away, this broke his heart as he watched his girlfriend cry in front of him and not wanting to be comforted by him.
After a few more sniffles she looked him in the eyes and said in between sobs. "I-I-I'm p-pre-pregnant," she said as he felt his world shatter. But slowly rebuild and a smile appeared on his face as he said, "It's alright, I know 16 isn't the ideal age to be parents, but I'd be glad to have a family with you." He then slowly placed his hands on her shoulders as he rubbed his hands up and down her arms in a comforting manner. (Side note: the age of consent in France is 15)
This didn't comfort the girl at all as she cried more. She then looked him with sad eyes and spoke, "T-t-th-that's the th-thing. T-the b-baby i-i ---." But she wasn't able to finish when someone pulled her away from him and glared at him. "What she meant to say is, the baby's not yours," he said with a smirk. This made him give a look of confusion and then realization came dropping on him. He then remembered that they had only done it twice and he was very careful, he had a condom on and made sure that it was of good quality.
He then looked at the two in front of him and asked, "I-is it true?" This made Bridgette freeze as she recalled this tone as his frightening tone from before they had been dating. She slowly nodded, afraid of meeting his gaze. "How long has this been going on?" he asked in his icy cold voice that set fear into anyone's hearts. Unable to answer the boy next to her answered for her, "Actually we had been getting it on since last Christmas and I claimed her long before you did," the Asian man said to him. He then turned his attention back to his "girlfriend" realizing that last Christmas she went back to Seoul(Let's just say that she's Korean since MLB was first released there. Another side note: Age of consent in South Korea is 16).
"Why?" he asked. However, she wasn't able to answer as she tried to hide in the arms of the other man. This made the shards of his earlier shattered world to break more at this action. Trying to keep his cool he then said, "Congratulations. I will back down for the both of you. I wish that you find happiness with him." With that he gave the man a killer punch and walked away, not wanting to notice the look the crowd was giving him.
...
He sighed at the awful memory not wanting it to happen again. He gave her his world, his dreams and his whole being. Thinking that she would do the same, but in the end she broke him, in the last way he thought she would. As he continued to think about it he felt tears prick his eyes, to which he immediately removed. His thoughts came rushing back to Marinette's sweet smile, comforting presence and lovable companionship. This got him sighing as he whispered to himself, "I've got it bad."
The day ended and the gang regrouped as they went straight to the bakery for final fittings. Felix walked quietly by Marinette's side as she began discussing about the adjustments she'd had to make with their clothes. Allegra began gushing about how amazing her designs are even without adjustments. Allan just told her not to worry and be confident in her talent, while Claude was just asking what treats her parents were handing out. Felix on the other hand had just been admiring her talk.
"Hey Felix, you seem out today. Are you OK?" Marinette asked him as she turned her attention to him. This caught him off guard when she turned her attention to him. He only gave her a curt nod as a light blush dusted his cheeks. They then arrived at her home and were all showered with affection by her ever doting parents who insisted that they all stayed for dinner.
The group was in her room as she made a few adjustments to the clothes she's supposed to present the next day. "Maddie this is amazing. I love it," Allegra cooed as she spun around in her white dress, which had three horizontal lines at the collar of the dress and the lower part of the skirt, close to the hem. While a navy blue jacket, sailor inspired, was matched with it, and to top it off, she wore a white sailors hat with her hair curled at the bottom part. "I'm glad you love it Allegra," Marinette replied as she beamed with pride. She then turned to the boys to find them standing with each other in a pose that they probably didn't notice.
Claude wore a fit round neck white shirt with black horizontal stripes with white ankle length pants, and a black sheer scarf was placed around his neck, while a white hat with black lining topped off the look. "Do I look fat in this shirt? I feel that I look fat," he commented as he stared at the pattern, earning a laugh from the girls. "No, it doesn't. I mean you wear vertical stripes all the time," Mari commented. "You look fat all the time," Allegra added as the group laughed again.
Turning her attention to Allan, she could see that the denim fabric fitted him perfectly. The denim polo shirt with rolled up sleeves and tucked in his denim shorts, that was held by a brown leather belt made him look simple yet stylish, and just like the others he wore a captain's hat. "Well, if you feel fat, I feel like something's missing," Allan critiqued. This made Mari give a designer's look at it as she placed a finger under her chin and tilted her head to the left. "You're right, but what can make it look more complete?" she pondered as she eyed the clothing. After a second, she snapped her fingers and made her way to the other scarps of clothing she had sewn. "No, no, not that one. Nope. Ah! There you are," she stated as she made her way to her model and tied a handkerchief around his neck and tucked it under the collar. "Better," she stated as she looked at the finished product.
She then looked at her last piece, which was being modeled by Felix. She blushed at the sight of him in a form fitting white blazer that was open to reveal a dark navy blue color that had white horizontal stripes covering the bottom half of the shirt. His legs seemed to look more fit at the sight of the royal blue pants seemed to be showing the wonderful shape, since it was slightly fit. Although he looked a bit confused at the clothing as if uncomfortable. This caused her to be concerned at the possible mistake. "Is the fit alright?" she asked hesitantly. "The designs are fine, but like you said, it's the fit. But it's just the blazer, it's a bit tight on my shoulders," he commented as he pointed at the points to be fixed.
"Alright, I'll get it done, but I'm going to take your measurements again just to make sure," she stated as she went over to her desk to take her measuring tape. "Maddie, you wouldn't mind if we change out of this?" Allegra asked. "Sure go ahead and feel free to—," she began but was unable to finish when she saw the three race out of the room. Realizing what they had done she felt her face heat up a little bit as she faced the blond who was taking off the white blazer and folded it nicely and placed it on the chaise.
He looked up to find that they were the only people in her bedroom. He cursed his friends quietly at the betrayal as he watched her make her way to him. She began taking his measurements but found it difficult with his height. This made him chuckle slightly, surprising the young designer at the reaction. "You know you could stand on a stool considering your short stature," he said. "It doesn't mean that you're taller than me by 6 inches I'm already short," she replied with a huff. He then bent down to her level saying, "Everyone who is shorter than me, I consider short and small."
This got him with a notebook slammed at his face as he saw an irritated Marinette. He then smirked and continued, "Considering that you are '6 inches' smaller than me, makes you seem like a cute munchkin that I can put in my pocket." He watched as she got more irritated at him as he insulted her height. He continued on bantering about her being shorter than him that he did not expect her to finally jump on him and say, "You know that fact that we only have a 6 inch gap makes it easier for me to jump on your back." The two continued roughhousing, forgetting about what they were supposed to do.
After a few more minutes of fighting, Felix got the upper hand and threw her up on her bed as he joined her and began attacking her with tickles. She began to laugh uncontrollably that she was having a difficulty to breath until she finally tapped out, which made him stop his attacks. He then got off her and laid down next to her as they began to calm down.
"Don't insult me with my height again," was all she could say before they got back to what they were supposed to be doing. "You're right, cause size doesn't matter," he jokingly replied as he turned to face her with his head propped up with his arm. This got her to roll her eyes at the blond as she also turned to face him. This was when they both became self conscious about their positions causing the two parties to blush uncontrollably.
Mari then let out a cough and said, "You should, um, y-you know, change." With that she got of the bed and began fixing the things that were out of place after their game.
...
It was the day for their clubs fashion show, and a lot of famous figures were there to watch. Well, that was to be expected from a prestigious school where most of the students were children from well off families. There they could see their parents along with their friends. But looking at the more out shining personalities in the crowd was also where they could find the Agrestes and their secretary, the Bourgeois family, Clara Nightingale, Jagged Stone and others.
Marinette can feel the excitement and the anxiety, and she can see that the rest of the club was also having the same panic. Their theme was "Summer and Beaches," with different sub themes from the designers. One designer had swimsuits, another had Hawaiin style, there was one that had a Tex-Mex theme, one was carnival themed, there was a bohemian theme, tropical, floral, animal and there was Mari's sailor theme.
She can see all of them were too anxious that they were able to dress their models to the T. There was also one of them that threw up because of the pressure. They then watched as one theme after another was called. When it came to her designs she saw the impressed looks of the audience, even from Chloe, although she probably doesn't know that it was her design. She even saw her former classmates looking at the designs as if for the first time. This pained her a bit since she made sure to incorporate her designer tag there but it doesn't seem like they noticed.
Once the show ended, the designers were called up front for their recognition. They were all trembling, nonetheless, were able to make it up front as they were applauded by their success. She could hear the excited cheers of her family and classmates and from a few personalities who seemed to be waiting for her appearance. She watched her former classmates' jaws dropped as they felt stupid not realizing that those were her designs.
After the whole exhausting show they were all dismissed as the group hugged and shook hands in congratulations. Mari was engulfed by her friends and were overly happy at her success. She hugged them backed and thanked them. They then went to their favorite cafe and celebrated. But one by one they left, leaving Marinette and Felix alone, again.
"Outstanding performance as all ways," he commented still trying to deny the rapid beating of his heart towards this girl. "Thanks, but I'd say the same for you guys, after all you guys modeled for me," she replied. This got their conversation moving and they were deeply enjoying each others company when unexpected guests came.
When they heard the door chime they didn't really mind until those people went directly to their table. Marinette froze at the sight of her former friends and classmates. She could feel Alya's glare as she stared blankly at her drink.
"Seriously Marinette, no note, no message. You just disappeared into thin air in the second semester not even telling me!" Alya exclaimed. Felix glared at the girl as he took Marinette's shaking hands into his and gave it a tight affectionate squeeze that gave her strength. Channeling her inner snarky self, she took a sip of the drink and said, "I saw no reason to tell you about it. It wasn't like I heard you all wish that I should just leave Lila for good, like transfer."
This made the rest of the class flush in guilt, except for Alya. "Really Marinette, are you going to turn yourself into the victim again. Can you stop saying that? We know that YOU wanted Lila out of school for good!" she accused. This just made Marinette look at her drink and begin tilting her cup in different directions as she answered, "Wow, you make it sound like I got Lila 'almost' expelled. It's not like I 'almost' got expelled for stealing her heirloom and taking the key to correction of our exam. Or I was the one who have that 'disease' that makes me spout out nonsense." At the end she moved her pupils to look at them to find them processing what she said.
"If that's all I think that we should go," Marinette stated as she set her finished drink down and took Felix's hand and began to leave. "Not so fast, Marinette. You are not leaving until Lila comes here and you apologize to her," Alya said as she grabbed her roughly by the arm. This infuriated Felix so he stepped in to intervene.
"Unhand her, now," he said as he glared at Alya. She in turn glared back at him and said, "Get your nose out of this." He then went fully in front of her, using his height as an advantage to intimidate her. He saw her slightly flinch but still did not comply. After showing no signs of letting go, he forcefully grabbed her wrist and tightened his grip making her let Marinette go because of the sudden pain on her wrist.
"Alya I'm here," they heard someone call. "Lila, great timing," Alya replied as she smiled and winced at the girl. She then turned back to the two and said, "Now, apologize." Marinette then asked, "For what?" This made the blogger more infuriated as she began recounting the times she had injured her, bullied her, humiliated her, insulted her, accused her and other forms of abuse. "Are you done?" she asked after she had recounted all of the 'times' she had attacked the Italian.
Before Alya could say anything, Felix cut in, "Now if you please, I would like to take my girlfriend out now. You lot have already wasted our time and disrupted our date." "I don't give a damn about your fucking date," Alya seethed as she got more frustrated by the pair. "I know, but I'm sure you are interested in keeping your reputation," he said as he pointed at the customers who were filming and whispering about them. Nino then approached his girlfriend and tried to calm her down but it didn't help, it only made her more aggressive. Blind with rage, she threw a strong punch at Marinette making her nose bleed.
Felix then clapped his hands in sarcasm, which brought the lady blogger back to her senses. "Ma-mari, I didn't, I'm sorry," she fumbled. "Ladies and gentlemen, the blogger of the Ladyblog," was all Felix can say before wrapping and arm around Mari and helping her with her nosebleed as he took her out of the building.
...
Now, the pair was seated in her room, her on the chaise and Felix on the floor as he began tending to her. Once he patched her up neatly they settled down. Marinette shift uncomfortably in her seat as she had been replaying the scene in her head. But what she couldn't get rid of was how protective Felix was when he claimed to be her boyfriend. She blushed again at the thought.
"Are you alright?" Felix asked in concern when he saw her heat up. "Y-yep, OK me, no. Me OK. Wait, I mean, I'm OK," she stammered. Felix smiled at her as he shifted uncomfortably as well trying to forget what he said in the heat of the moment.
After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence, Mari spoke up, "So earlier at the cafe, things got out of hand didn't they." Felix only nodded not wanting this to go to that direction. Feeling his discomfort, Mari just got straight to the point. "W-when you said that I was your g-girlfriend, did you say it out of–," but before she could continue, Felix stopped her by saying, "I want you to be." This made them pause and look at each other in surprise.
This sudden realization and confession was not what Felix had in mind. So he turned his head to the other direction so to not see her face of discomfort. To his surprise, instead of rejection, he felt two arms hug his torso and a small body pressed against his side. He turned to find if it was what he think it was, Marinette hugging him tightly and resting her head on his shoulder.
"I-I'd like that," was all she could say that changed his world. Here he could see a woman who would not cheat on him for she hated liars and lying. Someone he could trust not to break his heart in the worst possible way ever. He did not see her in Marinette anymore. Now he saw the person Marinette is, a loyal friend and companion, an honest and trust worthy person who would not string him around because of guilt and displeasure.
This was all that he needed before he took her and kissed her sweetly not finding any resistance in her at all. That was all the confirmation they both needed until they found themselves sleeping next to each other, arms protectively around them and the lack of clothing was all they could think of as they relished in each other for they wanted the other more than they had wanted their pasts.
Hades and Persephone Greek Gods AU!
Welp, welcome to distrubing the happy couple after they started picking some flowers for each other. Please don’t tell Felix that he killed the flowers, he’ll be very disappointed.
@felinettenovember
Felix was staring at the starry night sky of Sussex and sighed. How he wished he could gaze at this scenery with her. He could recall her innocent excited gaze at the stars. He could recall all, her telling him how little she saw of them in the city. He remembered the time he taught her how to speak English since she only understood few. He then gazed upon the moon knowing that she will be looking at it as well.
Marinette gazed above the night sky of Paris hoping to catch a star. She sighed knowing that she wouldn't be able to see any stars since the city's too bright. "There were more stars back then," she mumbled to herself. "What do you mean Marinette?" Tikki asked her holder. "Nothing Tikki. Just reminiscing, and hoping," she whispered the latter.
She then turned her gaze towards the couples in the park happily chatting with each other, holding each others' hand and staring into each other eyes. She would call herself a sucker for love since she always has been. She then turned her gaze towards the moon hoping that he would be looking towards it as well, thinking of her. "How selfish of me," she said as she hung her head and looked towards her feet. She then heard a tussle from her plants. She raised an eyebrow and made her way towards it, then she found a black cat with grey eyes trying to move around. "It's a blind cat," Tikki said as she hovered the face of the cat. "It seems like it. Hello there kitty," Marinette said as she held her hand over its nose for it to smell. The cat then instinctively brushed it's face on her hands and let out a soft purr.
"It seems like there's a new cat in town," Chat Noir says coming from behind her. "Good evening Chat Noir. What brings you here?" she asked. "Nothing really. I was waiting for Ladybug to show up for patrol. But she hasn't arrived yet, she's probably late," he casually said. Marinette then mentally slapped herself forgetting about patrol. "So even Ladybug is tardy," she said making sure like she sounded like a civilian. "Yeah, who can blame her, we're just human, we're prone to bad habits as well," he says with a chuckle as he sat on the balcony railing. Marinette then made her way towards him with the black cat following behind. "What about you? Any bad habits that the citizens don't know about?" she asked in a teasing manner. "Well since you asked, I'm actually the jealous type," he replied casually as Marinette picked up the persistent kitty. She then heard a growl erupt from the black cladded hero. "Now I see the jealous side," she said in a teasing manner when she saw Chat glaring at the blind cat. "OK. I believe it's time for you to continue patrol," she said hoping to get him to leave so that she could join him. "OK, Purrincess I'll get going now. Bye," he said as he took out his baton to continue patrol. Once he was in a far enough distance Ladybug sprung out of her room.
Back in Sussex Felix's gaze never left the moon hoping that she's doing the same. "Felix," came a quite voice. "I'm coming," he replied as he got up from his chair and went over to the person at the door. He opened the door to find Bridgette, a little girl at age five, in her nightgown clutching her ladybug pillow. "I can't sleep," she says with a yawn. "Alright come on let's tuck you into bed," he said as he took her hand and guided to her back to her room, knowing that she only wants a story. He watched her climb onto her bed. Unlike the other orphanages, this one has enough money to allow children their own room and private education. Once she was tucked in, he sat at the end of her bed. "So, what story would you want?" he asked. He watched her eyes light up and replied, "The treetops." He chuckled and began, "It was a pleasant afternoon when a little boy from this orphanage decided to wander through town."
...
It was a pleasant afternoon when a little boy from this orphanage decided to wander through town. He used the old trick of the blankets as a ladder. He made his way towards the gate and ran towards his favourite Oak tree. Once there he climbed the branches and reached the topmost part of the tree and smiled at his accomplishment. After what seemed like 10 minutes the young boy climbed down but as he descended he missed a step and fell on a little girl. He looked to his right to find two glaring bluebell eyes directed to him. She began wailing in French, "Why did you fall on me? I was just drawing and you stepped on me." "Je suis desole," he replied. "T-tu parles français?" she asked (Do you speak French?). "Oui, je parle anglais et français," he replied (Yes, I speak English and French).
They then continued their conversation in French as she asked, "Why did you fall on me anyway?" He then sat down next to her and replied, "I fell down, simple as that. Your not from here aren't you?" The girl nodded and answered, "I'm from Paris, France. How do you know how to speak French?" He shrugged and told her, "Mother Superior taught me. She's a nun." The little girl raised an eyebrow, catching her reaction he replied, "I'm an orphan. I live in the orphanage over there." He then pointed towards a large house that could be seen from their place. "I'm sorry," the girl said. "Don't be, my parents weren't," he calmly said. The little girl was taken aback by his reply and said, "I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng and I would love to be your friend." He smiled and responded, "I'm Felix Culpa. It's a pleasure to meet you Milady."
...
"Felix?" Bridgette asked as she slowly began to fall asleep. He hummed in response. "Once we go to Paris tomorrow, are we going to see her. Marinette?" she asked in a hopeful tone. He kissed her forehead and answered, "Of course luv, of course."
...
The François Dupont College was busily preparing their school for the arrival of orphans from different cities in France and some from the UK for a charity program and a meet up with Ladybug and Chat Noir. In Ms. Bustier's class the energy of the students were radiating as the class president, Marinette, began giving instructions for the final touches on the stage. "Just a little bit more to the left Nathanael," she said as the red head hung the banner. "Marinette where are the microphones?" Aurore asked. "They're in the storage room, I think," she replied. She then looked at the time on her phone and went over to Alya. "Where are they?" she asked referring to her parents. "They're coming now, see," Alya replied. There they saw the boys carrying dozens of boxes and her father was push a cart with the cake, with the help of Ivan. "A little help would be appreciated," Nino claimed as he reached the top of the stairs. "I've got it," Alya replied as she called the others for help. Some took the boxes out off their hands and followed Sabine to put it on the tables. While the others helped Tom and Ivan carry to cake upstairs.
After an hour they finished just in time to see some of the orphans arriving. "Well that's my cue," Marinette whispered as she gave her excuse to Alya saying that she's having a stomach problem. She went to a secluded area to transform to greet the new arrivals. "Mr. Damocles," she says as she walked into the school. All eyes turned to her while the orphans ran excitedly to meet her.
"Ladybug," Principal Damocles greeted. "I thought you were arriving a little later." She giggled and replied as she picked up one of the ogling orphans, "Well as I was swinging by I saw them and thought that it wasn't so bad to come a little early." They then they heard an additional voice, "I have to agree with you Bugaboo. I can't miss this for the world," Chat Noir joined. "Hey there kitty," she greeted as the two then began interacting with the children. The children were lively as ever and excitedly asked them questions. "Have you two kissed yet?" a little girl asked excitedly. "We haven't," she replied. "Well, not properly is what you mean don't you Milady," he added to which she rolled her eyes at. This earned a few excited squeals from the children as more of them began to gather. They then heard an excited voice, but what the girl said made Ladybug turn her heard. "Felix, Felix, I see Ladybug, hurry up," a little girl with dark blue hair tied in twin tails came bounding with a well groomed blond hot on her heels. Marinette felt like crying because of what she saw, but as Ladybug she put on her best smiled and made her way to the bubbling girl.
"Hi there, what's your name?" she asked. The girl then answered in English, "I'm Bridgette." She smiled and crouched down to her level and says in English, "It's nice to meet you Bridgette. Would you like to join me with the others and Chat Noir?" She nodded excitedly and began running towards Chat who equally greeted the girl with the same enthusiasm. "I apologize for that Ms. Ladybug. She had always been excited to meet you," Felix apologized. She smiled and answered, "It's no trouble at all and I'm already used to it. So you speak French?" He nodded and went to sit on one of the chairs and pulled out a book. She smiled recalling the times when she would draw and he would read. As she was about to return to the group, Hawkmoth decided to release an akuma. "That's our cue Chat. It's time to go to work," she called as she took out her yo-yo. "Right behind you LB," he replied as he set the children down and spun his baton and they went to work.
The students quickly closed the doors just in case any of the children escaped. They began the program knowing that the attack wouldn't affect them since it was at the other side of town. Felix then looked up to find the Dupain-Chengs looking at him with huge smiles and surprised expressions. He sighed and got up knowing that if he didn't approach them now they would. "Good morning Mr. and Mrs. Dupain-Cheng," he greeted. "Felix, is it really you sweetie?" Sabine asked as she went closer to him. "Yes, ma'am, it's me," he replied. Without a second to waste he was enveloped in the bear hug of theirs. "Well my boy, it seems like you've grown well," Tom said as he released him. He smiled and shyly asked, "D-do you know where Marinette is?" The two adults smiled and called for Rose. "Rose do you know where Marinette is?" She simply replied, "Alya says that she has stomach cramps." They then thanked her and told him to just wait.
Once the battle was over both heroes went back to school, entering in different places and skipped back in. "Wow Marinette, the children were so cute," Tikki says as she ate. "They really are, aren't they?" she replied. "So was that boy Felix," she teased. Marinette then playfully rolled her eyes at her. Once done, they went out with one goal in mind. She entered the celebration to find Kitty Section playing. She waved at them and found her target. She began to run to him and tackled him to the ground while laughing, without earning any unnecessary attention. She then earned a growl from him as he said, "Bloody hell Marinette. Is this your idea of a greeting?" She giggled as tears began streaming down her face. He stopped his protests and sat upright and held her in his arms as she began crying into his shoulder. "I missed you," she managed to say. He kissed the top of her head and began cradling her. "Sh, sh, I missed you too. So, so much," he replied.
What made then separate was a sound of a camera. They turned their heads to find Alya snapping a photo of the them. "Getting comfy with one of the guests aren't we Mari," she joked. "Alya!" she squealed, not really getting out of his arms. Felix chuckled and stood up while helping Marinette and introduced himself, "Felix Culpa, it's a pleasure to meet you Miss." Alya smiled and shook his hand saying, "Alya, Alya Césaire." Marinette smiled, loving the fact that her best friend and childhood friend were getting along. "Hey Mari," Nino greeted as he joined the group with Adrien. "Felix, this is Nino," she introduced the two add they shook hands. "I'm Adrien" Adrien introduced himself as he gripped Felix's hand tightly. "Pleasure," he replied, returning the grip.
"So Mari," Adrien began. "How did you meet him?" he asked, trying to hide his jealousy. "W-well, we, er, I, I mean he," Marinette fumbled but stopped when she felt a hand hold hers. She looked up to meet Felix's eyes and began to calm down, collecting herself. "What she meant to say," Felix answered for her as he looked directly into Adrien's eyes. "We met each other when we were seven at Sussex. I accidentally fell on her," he said as he earned a giggle from the girl beside him. "Maman, Papa, can I take Felix around Paris today?" she asked her parents. "Of course. Just make sure she comes back without any trouble," Tom teased, recalling the times when they would come back dripping wet or are covered in mud or when the police had to bring them back after getting trapped inside an old barn. "Yes, sir. It's not going to happen again," Felix replied. "Sorry, Alya. But can you take care of everything for today. I would really want to spend time with him," she apologized feeling guilty. "No worries girl. Although after this I'm gonna demand an explanation later," she said with a wink. "Thanks Alya, you're the best," she called as she began dragging Felix out. Unbeknownst to her the two blonds were having a stare down while they were talking. "So what was all that about?" Nino asked Adrien. "What do you mean?" he asked trying to seem clueless. "Oh come on. We're not blind, you're jealous aren't you?" Alya said. "I-I don't know what you're talking about," he defended as a light blush coated his cheeks.
...
Felix and Marinette were walking around town as the two were happily chatting with each other. "That boy earlier, Adrien," Felix said. "What about him?" Marinette asked trying to fight the blush that crept on her cheeks. "You like him don't you," he says bluntly as he looked at her. "Me like him? No! Never! W-what made you think so?" she defended. "It was obvious," he simply said. "W-why not we go to the Louvre?" she offered as they stopped at the bus stop. He nodded and followed her in the bus. Unknown to the two, three sneaky shadows were following them as they entered the bus. The other two looked at their companion who seemed to be blushing hard at what they heard. He looked down to the ground and asked, "I-i-is it true?" The other two nodded not expecting it to go that way. They then waited at the stop for the next bus and got on it to continue following their friend. At the Louvre the two were merrily talking about art and their life. "By the way, there's this little girl, her name's Bridgette and she would really want to meet you," he said. She felt flattered at the thought that the little girl she had just met would have wanted to meet her as well. "But I thought she wanted to meet Ladybug?" she asked but regretted it knowing that she made a mistake. "You met her already?" he asked suspiciously. "No, it's just that everyone there just wanted to meet the superheroes," she reasoned. He hummed in response, not exactly buying her excuse. "Your friends," he whispered as he got closer to her as they were walking through the grand gallery. "They're following us," he said quietly enough for her to hear. She then looked at a group who were taking selfies and saw in their camera were definitely Alya, Nino and Adrien. She giggled and took his hand. This surprised him but saw the playful glint in her eyes. He smirked back at her as she gently clung to him.
Adrien gritted his teeth when he saw their entwined hands. "Wow, never knew Mari had a British boyfriend before," Nino said. "Did she mention him to you before?" he asked. Alya only shook her head no. She then turned her gaze to Adrien, "No need to get hyped sunshine. They're just close friends." She then have a light pat on his shoulder. Well, I never took him as the jealous type, Alya says to herself all too happy about the situation. Nino them went over to her girlfriend and whispered, "You know, I'm kind of glad that Felix came, or else he would still be an oblivious dork." Alya then nodded her head on agreement as the continued to stalk the two.
"Come on Felix. It's just ice-cream," Marinette said as she saw Andre's ice-cream cart. He sighed and replied, "For the last time I'm not going to eat any of ice-cream. You know how much I do not like cold food." But despite his protests she dragged him towards the cart. There they were greeted with an overjoyed Andre who seemed to notice their entwined hands. "Peach pink as his lips, mint green as his eyes. This boy seems to fit your love, however there is something lacking," he said. "Oh well, at least you have found him," he casually said as Marinette blushed. He then leaned towards Marinette and asked, "What does he mean?" She giggled and replied, "Actually André can find your lover and you and your lover's ice-cream flavour." He raised his eyebrow and sighed, "Is that why you dragged me here?" She nodded happily as André began thinking of their flavours. "Perfect! Strawberry and peach will blend perfectly for you two. It's a match of childhood sweethearts and it will absolutely do," he said as he began scooping some ice-cream. He then gave it to the couple, who delightfully took it and found a bench to sit on to eat. The two merrily are their ice-cream exchanging jokes every now and then. Felix then took Mari's spoon and took a scoop of ice cream and fed it to her. She smiled affectionately and returned the action. The two then began laughing at their ploy.
In the bushes an enraged Adrien watched them share Andre's lovers' ice-cream together and began feeding each other. It made something inside him boil. It was like the feeling he felt when Ladybug was with Théo after they de-akumatized him. He then sprang to his feet and ignored his friends insistent cries and sat next to Mari as she and Felix finished the ice-cream. Once she turned she felt her face burn to find Adrien sitting next to her. "A-a-ad-adrien!" she squealed. "W-what do you doing here? I mean, what you here doing. I-I mean-," she stammered. Felix glared at the other blond and held her by her waist pulling her closer to him. "What are you doing here?" he asked. Adrien then glared back at him and replied, "I was just passing by and I thought that it wouldn't be bad if I were to stop by and say hi to Mari."
"Passed by or followed?" he taunted. This made the green eyed boy to glare more and asked, "Does it matter?" Felix then tilted his head in a menacing manner and answered, "Of course. I just couldn't help but feel that you're her to ruin our date." He then added a taunting smirk at the end and watched it fuel the boy. "Well I guess it gives me a right to put a stop to it," Adrien raised his voice as he slid his arm around Marinette's waist causing her to blush more.
"I'M!" gripped her side.
"HER!" he pulled her close.

At the back they could hear Nino and Alya facepalm hard. Felix then blinked at him for a few minutes then burst into a fit of laughter at what he said, leaving an overly confused Adrien. Marinette slumped at what he said. She then removed herself from his grasp, surprising the four, making Felix stop laughing. She stood up and dragged him off with her. She then left a dumbfounded Adrien, contemplating at what he said wrong. He watched the two walk away as, the blond put his arm over her shoulder, putting up a defensive aura.
Once out of sight, she fell to the ground crying. Felix followed suit, wrapping his arms around her shaking body. He didn't say anything, but picked her up she propped them in a nearby bench. He allowed her to cry in his shoulder and use him to middle any sound. He cradled her shaking body and rocked them, like he had done in their youth. After a while she finally spoke through her tears, "I-I-I love h-hi-h-him." He then held her closer saying, "I know, I know." The two continued to stay like that for about a good fifteen minutes. Marinette's sobs subsided, but remained mobile in his arms relishing his arm hugs. "Do you want to go home?" he finally asked. She looked up to him with sad eyes and replied, "Not yet." They stayed there for two minutes until she says, while remaining in his embrace, "We have to go, the others would be missing you." He smiled and helped then up, as they took the bus back to François Dupont College.

Tom meet up with the heroes outside the hospital and waited for Monsieur Noir to retrieve the necklace from Vulpes. "I'm sorry, it's all my fault. If I had been quick enough or if I didn't pull her, she would still be alive," Vulpes exclaimed as she cried, not realising that her transformation had already dropped. Monsieur Noir pulled her into a hug and said, "It's alright, it's not your fault Ondine. None of us saw it coming. You are not to blame." This calmed the girl down as they separated. Trixx patted the girl's cheek and reassured that it was not get fault. Ondine thanked them and apologized again, and finally left.
"Claws in," Luka said dropping his transformation and have both kwamis food. He can already feel the tears flow and he can't stop it. He then felt a strong pair of arms hug him from behind. "It's alright, son. The three of you did your best," Tom said in a broken voice as he couldn't stop the tears. Luka returned the hug, feeling hopeless and useless. Plagg and Trixx joined in too, mourning for their dear guardian. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I couldn't save her the first time and even now, I'm always too late," Luka cried as he blamed himself for it all.
...
Sabine found Kagami crying in the corner. Her heart broke, she bent down and engulfed the quivering girl in a hug. "Mrs. Cheng?" Kagami asked in surprise. "It's alright dear. I know what happened, and I don't blame any of you. You all tried your best," Sabine said in a hoarse voice. Kagami clung to the woman as she cried at her failure. Tikki even joined in as she tried to calm both women. But all together they cried for their sunshine.
...
Tom, Sabine, Gina, Rolland, Kagami and Luka, all waiting outside the emergency room. The old couple seated across each other with tears as they looked at the door expectantly. The parents were in a silent embrace of tears and heartbreak. Luka stood and leaned against a wall as he looked at the floor with a blank expression. Kagami had her eyes closed to calm her mind as tears continued to flow.
The door opened to their doctor, everyone was on their feet now. The doctor could only look at them with empathy as he uttered the sad news.
...
Marinette fluttered her eyes to find distressed faces around her. Seeing this she already knew without even having anything to say. "Good to see you, Marinette," she heard someone say from behind. Recognizing the voice, this made eyes tear up again. She turned around to find her friends there, waiting for her.
She immediately got off the hospital bed and jumped into their arms. "Joined the club?" Claude joked as they were in each others arms. This made them all laugh holding each other tighter. "I know this is bad, but I'm glad you're here," Allegra added. "Sorry to be the first to die," Kenya apologized, earning a laugh from the others. "As much as I would've wanted us to be alive together, this could work, too," Lindalee said with a smile. "Does this mean none of you are visiting my grave?" Allan quipped. "I definitely doubt that," Felix replied.
Once they have finally calmed down, they let go. Marinette immediately punched Felix on the arm with all her strength. "Ow! What was that for?" he asked rubbing his arm. "That's for not closing you're eyes when Medusa turned you to stone," she scolded. "Why not a thank you instead?" Felix retorted but was silenced when Marinette kissed his cheek. "How about that instead?" she said with a grin.
"Will you two ever stop flirting when I'm around?" Grim commented from behind. Felix threw an arm over Marinette's shoulder. "You're just lonely," he countered. This made them giggle at his comment. Grim sighed and mumbled something between the lines of, "Annoying little brats." "Is this the thanks I get for waiting since Kenya's death?" Grim asked. "Oh, come on. Lighten up, you know that we appreciate it," Allan said. This made Marinette look at them with wide eyes. "You guys waited for me?" she asked with surprise.
"I asked Grimm to not let me crossover yet, until all of you are safe," Kenya said. "But we all died. I still find it unfair that I was the only one on the floor where I died," Allegra complained. "Yeah, I guess almost all of us died alone. Except for Marinette, she died with doctors and nurses around her," Claude joked. "Well, I always thought we could all be together alive, but I instead we all died together," Lindalee added. "Booooo, then what about me?" Allan said. "You, my friend, are not included because we died together," Felix teased as the six of them clustered together leaving Allan out. "Ouch, hurtful," he said, pretending to be insulted.
"Are you kids done or do you not want to crossover?" Grimm impatiently asked. They nodded excitedly as they held hands and formed a circle around him. "You too, Mr. 'I'm not included in this group,'" Grimm said pointing at Allan. Allan's mouth went ajar at what Grimm said making him unable to move. "Hey, get in here already," Claude said reaching out as he included him in their circle. Allan held onto Claude's and Felix's hands. Grimm the placed the end of his scythe on the floor.
Water started coming out from underneath them as it began to cover them like a sphere. Kenya tightened her grasp on Marinette's and Lindalee's hand as they were covered with the water. Grimm began to chant as the water has concealed them all from the world of mortality;
"Ameles potamos.
Let this water Lethe,
Help you through your cross.
Let your mind be clear,
Of all those things you lost."
From the water is the river of forgetfulness, the seven souls slowly felt their minds clear. Clear from suffering, clear from pain, clear from hate and clear from brief. With this they were calmly brought to the afterlife.
"You kids can open your eyes now," Grim says as he looks around glad to be back. Opening their eyes, they slowly adjust to the light, but once they opened it their smiles reached their eyes. They could see a grassy plain with light breeze blowing, a clear stream flowing with flowers blooming everywhere. "Wait, is that you Grim?" Claude asks with surprise. This made all of their jaws drop, for right in front of them was not the skeleton that had brought them here but a good looking man in a neat black suit with a scythe in hand.
Grim grinned at them saying, "Welcome to the demimonde." Kenya and Lindalee began to run towards the flowers as they giggle along the way. Allan and Claude carried Allegra as they turned to a tree with sweet fruit just waiting to be picked. This left Marinette and Felix, which to their surprise, were still holding hands despite the others breaking free.
"It's beautiful," Marinette breathed. "Very beautiful," Felix replies while looking at her. "Together?" he asks as he brings their joined hands and places a kiss on it. She smiles and places a kiss on the same spot, saying, "Together."
The end
Paris wakes up to the shining sunrise, the adults who just woke up started their morning routine. In the bakery, the Dupain- Chengs have already began baking and were taking out the freshly baked goods, while their daughter was sleeping peacefully on the top floor.
However, such situation cannot be said in the Agreste mansion. It was dead quiet except for the sound of the heels clicking the marble floor as the owner's secretary stood at the door of a certain room. Natalie, Mr. Agreste's secretary, enters to wake the twins up. "Felix, Adrien, your father wishes for you to get up now so that you may take your breakfast with him as scheduled, and you may have more time to prepare for today's photoshoot," she says softly yet sternly. One of the blond boys grumbled, "If he is able to dismiss our request to have breakfast with him, we may also do so." The other boy gave a silently agreement and snuggled back into the blankets. The woman on the other hand sighed and left the room to leave them to their own device.
After she left, Adrien was the first one to recover and got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to shower. Once he finished he still found his brother in bed, his blond hair in a tangled mess, and sported a very Chat Noir like style. He tried to wake him up, but unfortunately the boy gave him a death glare and went back to sleep. Adrien huffed at his brother's refusal, instead he took his phone and took a picture of the sleeping mongrel and sent it to Marinette, aware of his brother's slight infatuation with the blue head. He then let out a little chuckle realising that they both seem to be fond with girls who have blue hair and blue eyes.
He then took out his secret weapon, camembert, and his camera for recording purposes and blackmail.
"What are your doing?" an annoyed voice asked. "You know that my cheese is for my consumption only, not to wake your brother up," Plagg voiced. "Come on, it's always fun watching his reaction," he reasoned as he neared the block to his brother's nose.
Back in the bakery, Tikki fluttered around the room but stopped when she heard a ping from Marinette's phone. Who in the right mind would send a message this early in the morning? she pondered. She then saw the time on the phone and rushed to her holder. "Marinette, wake up," she said. "You're going to miss it. Get up," she urged, but to no avail the bluenette remained stationary.
It was around seven when Tikki zoomed into her hiding place when she heard the hatch from the trapdoor opened. It revealed a cautious blond, who crept quietly into the room. He then reached the phone and was about to succeed when he heard a faint gasp. He then turned to find the girl fully awake in her pajamas with a horrified look on her face that was then replaced with a glare.
"What are you doing in my room Felix?" she spat. "To save my dignity," he replied as he snatched the phone. Being Ladybug, it had its perks, she stood from bed and began to wrestle the phone out of his grasp ignoring the fact that she just woke up. She then successfully retrieved her phone from the culprit, as she sat on his back.
"Get off of me!" he shouted. "No, not until," she stopped as she saw what the fuss was about. She blinked and burst into a fit of laughter and laid down on the blond's back as he turned bright red. She then turned around to see his reaction. "Ah, someone's grumpy," she said. The picture and video had a caption below that said, Felix hates mornings and is usually very grumpy when woken up. The only way to wake him up is by putting camembert at his nose. She then got up and helped him up as well.
"Please delete the photo," he said coldly. "Maybe, but you look absolutely adorable, you're like a grouchy kitty," she replied. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, delete that photo or so help me," he started. "Hold that thought, can you get out first so that I can change and we can continue our conversation later," she cut. That was when everything fell into place. He was in a room alone with her, with her only being in her pajamas. He blushed and nodded as he went out.
Marinette chuckled as he left and got changed. Felix, however, was having an internal turmoil as he thought of what just transpired in the room. "Are you alright dear?" Sabine asked. "Yes, ma'am. I apologize for the intrusion, but thank you for letting me in," he replied. "Of course, you can sit down while you wait. Would you like some coffee?" she offered. He accepted the offer graciously as he sat down and read. "Also, I would like to thank you for waking her up," she thanked as she made their coffee. "I'm sure if you hadn't come she would still be asleep until 7:45," she added. He nodded in response recalling all the times she would run into class.
After what seemed to be a lifetime, Marinette ran down the stairs, tripping on the last step. "Dear Lord, is there a time when you never trip?" Felix asked sarcastically. "Good morning to you too, Felix. Morning maman," she greeted her with a kiss as she sat on the table. "By the way Felix," she began a she poured herself some cereal, "Why are you up so early?"
He then replied, "Adrien had an early shoot, consequently I was awaken as well." Marinette then took two spoonfuls and queried, "You two share the same room?" To which he nodded and returned to his book. It was 7:45 when they left for school, chatting merrily as they entered the locker room.
"Hey Marinette," Adrien greeted. "H-hi, morning Adrien," she said tripping a little. Ever since she began hanging out with Felix her stuttering lessened and Adrien. Probably because he looked like Adrien making her feel at ease with the thought. He then turned to Felix and smirked, "So did you get the picture back?" he asked. Marinette then replied, "Nope, he almost did but he woke me up and I tackled him down to retrieve my phone." Felix then groaned into his hand, as Adrien then let out a hearty laugh at the thought of Felix bring tackled down by a very angry Marinette.
"Well, see you two in class," he said as he left leaving the two to themselves.

Marinette stood in shock when Allegra and Lindalee brought in a slowly fading Kenya. This made her run to aid her fallen friend. "No, no, please, please don't die. Wake up please, please," Marinette said as tears began rolling down her cheeks. The three girls gathered around their friend hoping for the best. With that, the door burst open to the two boys who were both in shock at the sight of their friend.
"What happened?" Claude asked with concern as he rushed to the girl's side. "We stopped Cerberus, but, but he clung to her and, and dragged her down with him," Lindalee explained in between sobs. Kenya slowly turned her head to face them all and have a weak smile, as tears trailed down her face she finally disappeared back to her body for her final moments. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Lindalee apologized as she curled herself into a ball and continued crying. "It's not your fault, honey. Calm down and take a deep breath," Allegra tried to calm the blonde down as she engulfed her into a tight hug. "It's not your fault Lindalee. It's my fault, I shouldn't have let you guys protect me, I can protect myself," Marinette claimed.
"We are helping you because we want to, you never asked us to," Felix said to her. "It's no one's fault," he added. This made Marinette stand up and looked at her friends. "Please, go to the south of the building, I'll be fine," she said sternly. "This is my fight not yours. I'll take care of myself, you take care of yourselves," she added as she looked at everyone in their eyes, channeling her long forgotten Ladybug, no, Marinette courage and confidence. "I don't want anyone to die at my cost," she told them. Everyone stared at her teary eyed, not knowing what to say or do. Felix stood up and stood in front of Marinette looking down at her with his stoic face.
"No," he said to her face without hesitation. Marinette glared at him and was about to speak until he goes first. "Listen, we know that you want us to leave you, so you could protect us. How much have you've done that? All the time you'll sacrifice yourself time after time again, until to the point where you break and no one is there to help you. We are here to help you like how you have helped us, please let us," Felix lectured. "You don't have to face this alone, like what you have been enduring for a long time," he continued as he placed his hands on her arms. "Please, we aren't going to leave you and let you sacrifice yourself. Please, I don't want to lose you too," he added as he pleaded to her.
"We're with him, we aren't letting you do this on your own," Claude supported. "You don't have to endure this by yourself. We're you friends and were here for you," Allegra added. "We will stand with you to the end, like what you will do for us. Let's not waste Kenya's sacrifice," Lindalee joined. "Please, we're not them, if that's what you're fearing," Felix added. He opened his mouth to say something, only to be tackled into a hug, stumbling slightly backwards. "Thank you," she mumbled as she held on tightly. Felix smiled and returned it.
...
Allan continued the cat and mouse chase as he tired Geryon more and more. "Come back," Geryon called, getting a little exhausted. Noticing his moves were getting weaker, he immediately phased through a wall leaving Geryon panting as he tried to catch up. Allan began laughing at its predicament, but what happened next, he couldn't expect. He watched one of its paws went through each room trying to find him. Realising his mistake, he tried to get out only to nearly get caught. He continued running through the hallway, pass the rooms that held no patients.
He continued running forgetting about something, he was getting closer to Allegra's room. He continued forward trying to find the right time to escape. He began dodging, jumping and escaping from its clutches. It finally dawned to him when he passed her room. He came to a complete stop upon realising his mistake. "No!" Allan screamed as Geryon's hand went straight into the poor girl's room.
...
"Allegra!" Claude shouted as he caught the poor girl in time. "I-I feel cold," Allegra stuttered trying to stay awake her eyes slowly closing and opening. "No, no, look at me. Don't, don't," Claude pleaded as he cupped the girl's cheeks and tried to force her to keep her eyes open. "It, it hurts. I-I... ca-can't... bre-breath," Allegra said, each word coming out breathier than the other. Her soul slowly fading and coming back. Everyone began gathering around to her and tried to give her comfort in her final moments before returning back to her body one last time.
This suddenly enraged them all. "New objective," Claude said. "We're going for the head," he said grimly. "No, we are here to-," Felix tried to reason. "No problem with me," Marinette agreed. "Wait, wasn't our-," Felix tried to reason again. "No, not anymore. Marinette has given her consent," Lindalee interrupted. "But that's-," Felix tried again. "No, Lila's been hurting too many people that I love, I'm not going to stand by this time," Marinette argued. Felix then conceded as he nodded and agreed. "She's not like any other akuma. She's vicious, quick, powerful and definitely knows her objective," Felix stated.
"So far, she doesn't know anything about the soul and their ability outside of the body, mostly if they're dead. But our biggest challenge would be her goons. Since they're demons, they can see us and kill us. I don't know how far the miraculous ladybugs could go, but let's just try not to get captured," Claude stated. "Claude and I are going to take on the Furies, keep them far from her to cut off their communication. From what we could observe, she can command and control them from a 10m radius. And given how effed up Paris is, seems like she released all the monsters she can. Since we haven't seen her create new ones," Felix began. "On our way here, we saw the heroes were close, so they're probably already battling right now. So Lindalee and Marinette, this is where you factor in. You have to make openings for the heroes. Make sure that they would be able to defeat her. If possible, take her sceptre and you would be able to end this mess. If some monsters are still there, Lindalee, I would want you to distract them and take them far off the 10m radius. Make sure that you don't get caught though. And Marinette you are going to continue helping the heroes, if possible cause a few misfortunes to her," Felix added. "What about Allan?" Marinette asked. "He's busy taking care of Geryon. He'll be fine," Claude commented.
...
"You can just give me your miraculouses and everything would be over. I have a prior arrangement after this," Castigare offered again as her furies did the dirty work for her. "Look who's asking?" Lady Luck threw back. "On your left Lucky," Monsieur Noir called. Acknowledging it, she immediately threw the demon, that was tied in her yo-yo, to the incoming one sending them both away. "We need a solution fast," Monsieur Noir commented. "We can do this, we'll just end this in five minutes," Lady Luck responded as they nodded to each other. "Lucky Charm!" she called as a box of macaroons appeared. She began looking at her surroundings only to find a blank slate.
"Hey, red heads!" Claude called. "Aren't you supposed to bring souls to hell? Well you missed some!" Felix added. This enraged them as all six eyes glared at them. "What are you idiots doing! Take their miraculouses!" Castigare shouted, getting pissed off by, yet another subordination. "There's no one there! Take their miraculouses!" she demanded.
"All souls must be thrown into the cold, dark abyss called hell," Megaera called out. "Well, I guess you have to play tag first before you take us to hell," Claude taunted. Before any of them spoke Felix shouted, "One, two, three, go!" With that they were off, the Furies chased them in hopes of giving them to Minos for judgement, leaving Castigare, who was already thrusting a temper tantrum. "Idiots! There's no one there! Why are they all chasing things that aren't there!" she screamed.
With them away, Lindalee and Marinette went to place. They casually began throwing buckets of paint at her. But for them, it seemed like out of no where all the materials began flying towards Castigare. "What kind of new miraculous is this?" Castigare demanded as she tried to shield herself from the attacks. The two heroes shrugged as if it was nothing. "Invisibility? Telekinesis? What is it?" she urged. "We didn't release any miraculous for this battle," Monsieur Noir replied. She continued glaring at him. She then realized that Lady Luck was not there. "Where is she?" she asked. He shrugged and began to run towards her with his staff ready. Noticing this, she immediately countered with her sceptre. They began to fence with each other, unaware of the their invisible allies.
Castigare kicked Monsieur Noir to the ground throwing his staff away. She pointed him on the ground, and setting her sceptre on the side and reached for his hand that had the ring. With an immediate turn of events, Geryon came flying in with Allan riding him from behind, guiding the monster towards them. This made her curse as she was thrown to the side, her back hitting the building. This knocked three monster out giving Allan ample time to get off. As he got off he looked at Marinette and Lindalee but turned away as they made eye contact. He can still feel the guilt surging through him. He had indirectly killed their friend and he can't help but feel guilty.
As he pondered he didn't realize that something was approaching from behind. "Allan! Look out!" Lindalee cried as ran towards him full speed pushing him out of the way as Geryon's swift paw crushed the young girl.
...
On the far side of the battle field a group of Furies continued to chase the two souls, who continued separated them from their master. "Stop running you damned souls!" Alecto screamed at them as she tried to claw Felix, who swiftly dodged it. "Do not make us call on Medusa," Megaera threatened as she cornered Felix. "Don't think that we don't know that you are the protectors of that beast who haa wronged our Queen," she added. "Couldn't care less," Claude retorted as he guided some dust towards the fury's eyes.
"Nice shot!" Felix complimented. Taking this as an opening, Alecto got hold of his arm and threw him to the building. This almost knocked him back to his body, and just as he thought he could move Megaera immediately restrained him by twisting his arms and placed it firmly on his back with his face on the warm cement. "Got you now you little shit," she grunted out pressing him further more into the wall.
This enraged Claude more as he shouted, "Let go of him!" But just before he could move, he felt like his heart was being torn out of his chest. He fell to his knees wheezing as he was going in and out of consciousness. He glared at the furies angrily as he saw Tisiphone flying down in front of him grabbing a fistful of his hair making him face her. "What? You didn't think that we didn't have ways with souls like you," she said with a sinister grin. "Find the body then attack, very simple isn't it," she added adjusting his head. With that she dropped him and went to the squirming Felix.
Light headed and nauseous, Claude forced himself to stand up but continued to fail miserably. No, I can't let anyone get hurt again when I can do something, he thought to himself rebidding him of his accident more and more. Get up, get up, he told himself as he continued trying to push himself up but to no avail. Losing hope he looked around and thought of the risks.
"Stop squirming you. You know that it's hopeless. Your little friend will die, Castigare will revive her and turn her to stone using Medusa and grind her into dust after we're fine torturing get," Megaera said explaining Lila's plan. "It's a shame to ruin such a pretty face," Alecto said as she was about to leave to do some damage to his unconscious body. As she was about to lift off the ground, she felt it shake. The trio then felt it get stronger but missed the debris that was about to fall onto them. They were too invested at the thought of the ground splitting open only to realize the danger was from above, as they looked up they were unable to fly away as the debris fell on top of them. This made Megaera let Felix go to cover her head. With no living matter holding onto him, he was able to phase through the building to avoid the rubble toppling over them.
Once the furies were covered with heavy construction material, Felix phased out of the building only to find Claude on his knees slowly fading away. He looked at him with wide eyes, but before any of them could saw anything, Claude's soul slowly disappeared leaving his ghostly smile etched into Felix's burning heart. He felt himself tear up as he looked down whispering, "You idiot, you wasted your final energy on me instead on yourself. You such an idiot." With almost all of his friends dead, he turned to the direction to where he left Marinette and Lindalee. With a determined look on his eyes he immediately ran towards them to save them from anymore danger.
...
"Lindalee! No!" Marinette screamed at the scene in front of her. She immediately ran towards them taking Geryon by the wing, she used her new found strength to break it. This made the beast screech from the pain as it stumbled backwards, taking its paw of the poor girl, and fell on the fence of the hospital. With it on its back, she ran to the two with a painful twist in her stomach.
"No, please don't, please survive," she said as she took the little girl's slowly fading hand. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Why did you push me out of the way? I could still live unlike you," Allan stated as he pulled her frail soul close. "Oh right, I forgot about that," Lindalee said laughing lightly. "I guess I didn't want any of my friends to die on my watch by another monster again," she replied remembering Kenya. "What do you mean?" Allan asked confused about the situation. Marinette looked at him with a bleak expression saying, "Kenya's dead, Cerberus killed her. Allegra's dead, too." This made him fuel with rage as he gave Lindalee one last look as he got up and went to Geryon with a murderous look in his eyes. "Look away you two. I don't think I would be able to do this if either of you are watching," he stated as he aimed for Geryon.
"Get up, you lazy sack of meat. Get up and protect me," Castigare commanded once she got hold of her sceptre. But to no avail, the creature was unable to move for that matter. It seemed as if he was stuck in his place slowly choking as if a noose was around its neck. "You worthless minion!" she shouted as she stalked her way towards Marinette's room. "You'll get your jewels Hawkmoth, just let me do this while those two trouble makers are out of the way, for now," she told him coldly.
Hearing this Marinette turned her head as she watched the akuma ever the building. She felt a tug on her sleeve to find Lindalee smiling softly at her mouthing, "Go, I'll be fine. I'm not alone, I can feel Kenya and Allegra with me. Go now, before it's too late." Marinette nodded as she felt the tears flow down her cheeks. She set the girl on the ground as she faded back to her body.
"Marinette, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. The time of reckoning had finally arrived," Castigare said as she entered the said person's room. "Who are you? Get out," Rolland said to her. "You must be her grandfather, a pleasure to meet you," she answered with a sickening voice as she pushed the old man away. But to her displeasure, she found the bed empty. She glared at our as she turned to the old man, "Where is she?" she asked menacingly. Rolland spat on her face and said, "Over my dead body. I'm never going to tell you where my granddaughter is."
This enraged her more, but as she was about to punch the old man, a yo-yo wrapped around her hand stopping her from hurting the man. Enraged by this intrusion, she pulled it towards her. Bad idea, since Lady Luck is very much armed with knowledge of almost all of the martial arts, instead of being limply dragged towards her, she got hit in the nose by the the girl's feet. "You want Marinette? Follow me," Lady Luck offered. "Why should I? For all I know it could be a trap," Castigare retorted cautiously. "Your loss," the hero taunted. "No tricks, no games," Castigare stated. "No tricks, no games," the girl parroted.
...
Felix arrived at the area only to find it completely deserted, expect for the passed out Geryon and an out of breath Allan. "Allan," he called out. "Where's Lindalee and Marinette?" he asked. Allan walked down the beast and approached the blond asking, "Where's Claude?" Felix looked the other way and said, "Gone, sacrificed himself for me." This made Allan twitch as he looked at the spot where Lindalee was. "Where's Marinette and Lindalee?" Felix asked again. Allan looked at him with a blank expression saying, "Lindalee got crushed by Geryon."
This made Felix's eyes widen with the news of another death. "And Marinette?" he asked looking down contemplating. "In the morgue," Allan replied. This made him face the boy and grabbed his shirt. "Wooh, wooh, that's not what I meant. I heard the doctors and nurses say that they had to keep her there since they got a call from Lady Luck and she has a plan," he quickly explained. This made Felix relax as he let him go, but quickly remembered the fury's words.
"I almost forgot, Megaera told me Lila's plan," he said as he continued to explain. Allan began to contemplate on it trying to find a solution. "I have an idea, I don't care about the risk any more," Felix said as he told him the plan. This made Allan's eyes widen as he looked at his friends with disbelief. "No, no, I'm not going to let you do that. I'm not going to risk it, not to mention almost all our friends are dead," Allan replied. "It's the only way I could think of. Please trust me on this, it's the only way. And I have nothing to lose," Felix stated. Allan sighed and gave in as he said a silent prayer. "Alright, let's try it," he finally said.
The two boys then went to Felix's room, which was luckily empty. "Are you sure about this?" Allan asked hesitantly. "Just do it," Felix demanded. With that Allan possessed Felix's body making him wake up, but sadly, he woke up in pain. Trying to stay awake without altering any of the nurses. He felt Felix's presence as he caused a swift breeze passed the IVs he has to remove. Allan painfully removed them and sat on the bed with all of his strength. He closed his eyes as he tried to feel Felix's presence.
Felix, on the other hand, looked at his physical face and tried to touch it only to have his hand of through it. He sighed and took a deep breath as he looked at himself as neared this fist face to his physical face. His ghost lips and physical lips touched to give breath to his body, with that the transfer began.
Felix opened his eyes only to squint at the light. But slowly he opened them and took in his surroundings and took a couple of breaths as he savoured the feeling of being alive. He began feeling pain but only smiled at the thought of feeling it again. He slowly got up, ignoring the pain, he walked out of the room. He stepped out and started to walk, he then started to get faster until he's already running towards Marinette's body.
...
Marinette followed the two into the morgue. "We're here," Lady Luck said as she opened the doors. Both of them stepped in to find Marinette's sleeping body still hooked to the machines. "What kind of hero you are. You led me right to her," Castigare stated as she placed the sceptre right above the girl's head. Marinette then felt her soul slowly reunite with her body. After a bright light of the unification, Marinette found herself surrounded by two heroes who told her to be quite. She nodded as they both whispered the plan into her ears.
Castigare smirked as she looked at Marinette's confused face at being awaken. "Where? Where am I?" the young girl asked. "Get up, you bitch," Castigare said with much rudeness to a newly awaken coma patient. "Lady Luck, what's happening?" Marinette asked with confusion. "It's alright Marinette, trust me right now. We have to do what she says so, please get up," Lady Luck reassured. Marinette nodded as she got up and looked at Castigare with sad eyes saying, "Lila, why did you do this to you? You know that this will not make you a lik-."
"Shut up," Castigare butted in. "Now you'll do as I-," she continued only to stop when she saw a second Marinette appear. "What? What is this? An illusion?" she asked taken completely off guard. "Yup," Lady Luck replied as she aimed for the sceptre, missing it by a few centimetres since Castigare caught up. "Hide Marinette," Monsieur Noir instructed as he appeared. He immediately extended his staff aiming for her knees.
Castigare tripped but had a tight grip on the sceptre. This enraged her and cursed Medusa for being late. "Give it up, Lila. Don't you see, your hurting a lot of people," Monsieur Noir tried to reason. "My name is Castigare, not that powerless Lila! Medusa turn them to stone!" she demanded as the doors opened to reveal the snake haired mythological woman. Medusa entered and immediately opened her eyes. "Close your eyes everyone!" someone shouted from behind.
Recognizing the voice, Marinette unconsciously turned around almost meeting the monster's eye. "Felix?" she asked in a quiet voice. Realising her mistake, she felt a pair of hands quickly cover her eyes. She felt warmth and suddenly the cold touch of stone. "Felix? Felix?" Marinette asked repeatedly as she touched the stone hand covering her eyes, the stone arm that held her close, and the stone body that shielded her. She felt tears run down her eyes realising that she was unable to every feel his warm skin on hers. To smell his natural scent that she yearned to know. To touch his smooth looking blond hair and run her hands through our as she pleased. Now, he is nothing but an emotionless statue with a stone heart.
"Please, don't go. The miraculous ladybugs will fix you, it's going to be OK," Marinette said trying to calm down. Speaking too soon, she felt something go through him and started to feel the statue crack. With one swift tug Felix's statue crumbled into rubble. "Did you really think that you could escape me? Even this boy's sacrifice is useless," Castigare remarked.
Marinette gritted her teeth with closed eyes. Using her sense of hearing that had been enhanced by her training as Ladybug, she was able to land a good blow. This caught Castigare off guard, stumbling back by the force, still stunned. Red eyes staring at the ground, Marinette looked at Felix's stone face that was still intact. She immediately recognised his expression as a caring and protective one despite the scowl that he gave Medusa and Castigare.
"You don't care who you step on, don't you?" Marinette asked in a low voice. Rubbing the blood off her nose, Castigare looked at her with cold eyes. "You know the answer to that. I don't care about anyone or anything, as long as I win in the end," she replied as she neared Marinette. "You don't even know how many you've killed just for a petty revenge, don't you?" Marinette asked raising her head looking Castigare in the eye. "Kill, ha! No one dies because during an akuma attack. With the miraculous ladybugs everything would be restored," Castigare replied as she stopped in front of Marinette placing her sceptre under the girl's chin. "Who told you that? Hawkmoth? Wanna bet?" Marinette asked menacingly.
This made doubt cross Lila's face, taking this chance, Marinette quickly snatched the sceptre and threw it across the room. This made the two begin their cat fight. As Castigare tried to run to her sceptre Marinette immediately grabbed her arm and tossed her overhead. Despite not having any ability or miraculous, Marinette has always been good at hand-to-hands combat, courtesy of her mother. Collecting herself, Castigare for up on her arms only to be roughly pushed back down on the ground. Noticing her near defeat, Medusa quickly left the two miraculous users to aid her.
"Wait," Lady Luck said as she placed a hand on Monsieur Noir's chest. "Lucky charm!" she called as the ladybugs hand her an adamantine sword, the same one that Perseus used to cut off Medusa's head. She began looking around and nodded at her cat and fox. Noir and Vulpes went to the hospital bed taking the blanket and getting strips of our, tying it over their man's covering their eyes. Now that their eyes are covered it would be difficult for Medusa to make eye contact with them, not knowing where they are looking.
Medusa quickly pulled Marinette off Castigare and pushed her on the ground, pinning her down not giving her a chance to escape. Marinette immediately closed her eyes, not wanting to open them. Castigare grinned maliciously as she looked at the squirming victim. "Not so powerful now, are you Marinette," Castigare taunted as she gets on on one knee and nears her face to Marinette. Marinette glared at Lila through closed eyes as she laughed and got up. "Turn her to stone," she said forgetting about the others in the room.
Medusa nodded as she turned Marinette to face her. She neared her face to the girl awaiting for her eyes to open. "Won't you open your eyes for me," she said with an enchanting tone trying to convince her to open her eyes. But before she could force her eyes open she heard a scream. As she turned the other way she felt her head being separated from her body. With that Medusa's head was kicked out of sight. "It's gone, you can open your eyes now," Lady Luck said as she pushed Medusa's body off Marinette and engulfed her into a hug they both desperately needed.
"Cataclysm" Monsieur Noir called on as he destroyed the sceptre while Vulpes had the blanket around Castigare's head. With that the little butterfly escaped and Lila detransformed, making Vulpes let go. "Stand down now, Lila, it's over," Vulpes said noticing the girl twitch to attack either of them. Lila complied and remained docile.
Lady Luck began to purify the akuma and cleansed the mess using the miraculous ladybugs. But with this Marinette was again back in her coma, given that she was awaken by Lila's magic. Buildings were fixed, wounds were healed, chaos turned to order. But the stone statue that turned into a boy didn't wake up. Vulpes approached Felix's body and looked for a pulse only to gasp at the occurrence. All the heroes looked at each other in horror as she announced, "He doesn't have a pulse."
"Miraculous ladybug has its limits," Lady Luck said quietly. Lila stared in shock at the thought of those she had possibly killed. But instead of regret and remorse, she felt vengeful as she got up to her feet and grabbed the closest pair of scissors and went straight for Marinette, while the heroes were distracted by the boy's body. She dug it into Marinette's neck, hitting the carotid artery. The heroes sprung into action and apprehended her, but as Vulpes tried to pull Lila from Marinette, only making Lila able to cut through it more. Lady Luck quickly removed the scissors, while Monsieur Noir placed a towel on it putting pressure on the wound. Lady Luck's fist collided with Lila's face as she instructed, "Vulpes, Noir, get Marinette to the ER now, she still had 10 minutes left and call some nurses to come down here. Go, I'll take care of this rat." Without being told twice, the two heroes pushed through the doors to deliver Marinette.
Lady Luck got to Lila's eye level. Lila on the other hand was glaring back at her saying, "You're as worse as Ladybug. But at least Ladybug would never hurt a civilian." This struck the last nerve, she wrapped the girl in her yo-yo and dragged her out.
Marinette, on the other hand, was starting to have a difficulty to breath. If crying was already obstructing her breathing, now she felt like she was drowning. She had hitched a ride on her hospital bed as the nurses pushed it into the ER, Vulpes and Monsieur Noir long gone because she had less than a minute to detransform. She still can't believe that Lila would go that far just to kill her. She can see that her whole being was slowly fading away ready to reunite with her body. With one last look, she could see her family's faces outside the room, she smiled and happily rejoined her body.
Being a superhero has its cons, like the lack of sleep. During free period Marinette was sleeping in the library where she was supposed to be researching for her report to be passed the day after tomorrow, but since Hawkmoth seemed to have a lot more free time, he decided to send akumas even at night. The young girl slept peacefully not minding the other students since she was at the very back and secluded area of the library. However, not everyone who comes to the library knows this place but an anti social bookworm might.
Felix had just escaped from a group of fangirls. You just take one photoshoot with Adrien and more you're being chased by his fangirls and your own, he thought to himself. He decided to go to his sanctuary, the library. He greeted the librarian and headed towards the back to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. What he did not expect was to his classmate sleeping in his area. He looked at Marinette as she peacefully slept there with a silent smile and sweet closed eyes. He then sighed and decided to sit on the opposite desk to read.
...
Marinette woke up to find that there was a piece of paper on her desk that had summarised the discussion on the book with a note saying that she should get more sleep. She pondered on who could've placed it there for her. She looked around to find that no one has been around the area. She then smiled and silently thanked whoever summarised the notes for her.
The next day, Marinette had to wake up around seven since Hawkmoth decided to start the day with an akuma attack. The fight finished arrive 7:50 giving Marinette a quick run in her house and to school. With last night's and this morning's akuma attack, she lost five hours of sleep. She didn't even care what Alya was telling her that day about some student that entered school again, not could she care about Adrien talking to said girl. During class she half listened since she can't possibly focus at the task at hand. After what seemed like an eternity, class finally came to an end. She was walking home when she saw, plopped on one of the park benches, was a blond who had a book over his face. She neared the sleeping figure and recognized him. "Well, I guess even Felix sleeps anywhere," Marinette commented to Tikki. "He must have had a sleepless night as well," Tikki replied.
She then flew to his face, covered by a book. She let out an audible gasp at this. "M-Ma-Marinette," she stuttered. "I think I know this book," she said in a serious tone. Marinette then took a close look at it as well. "What book is this Tikki?" she asked curiously. "It's not just any book. This book is the book of the miraculous," she exclaimed. "Wait, you mean this book is all about the miraculous?" she asked for verification, to which Tikki nodded. "Why does he have it?" Marinette pondered. "The guardian lost this book years ago along with the butterfly miraculous. I fear that the book is in Hawkmoth's possession," she replied. "Are you saying what I think you're saying?" she asked hesitantly. Tikki nodded to confirm her theory. "But we can't be sure yet. I'll search him," she said as she began searching Felix for the brooch. "Tikki wait," she says a bit too loudly.
Felix stirred from his sleep and slowly removed the book from his vision to find a panicking Marinette in front of him. He groaned and said, "This is the thanks I get from the person I helped with their notes." She then blinked for a few minutes and recovered. "You what?" she finally asked. He let out a deep sigh and sat right up and replied, "Nothing." Feeling awkward about the situation Marinette asks, "So, what's that book about?" Catching his attention, he felt a surge of panic, and quickly put it back in his bag. "Nothing important," he says as he gathered his things to leave. "Wait!" she says in a panicked tone as he left with Tikki. "I didn't find the brooch," Tikki announced. Marinette quickly clamps her up by catching her in her bag. This makes Felix freeze and turn towards her. "Was that a kwami?" he asked. "N-no," she stuttered. "Come with me," he said as he took her arm and headed towards the bakery.
"Marinette, oh it seems like you brought a friend," Sabine said as she saw her daughter come inside with a classmate. "Good afternoon Ma'am, I'm Felix Agreste. I'm here to help Marinette with her essay since she needs a copy reader," Felix smoothly lied. "I'm Sabine, Marinette's mother. Thank you for helping her with her essay," she introduced herself. "Alright, you kids head upstairs and I'll bring you some snacks," she says as she ushered the two upstairs. Once in the living room Felix dropped Marinette's hand and asked, "Where's your room? I believe that it's safer to talk there," he says. She then led him to her room and offered him to sit on the chaise while she sat on the chair by her desktop.
Felix locked the trap door and sat on the chaise. "You're Ladybug, aren't you?" he asked with a stern voice. "Why should I tell you?" she asked, still suspecting him to be Hawkmoth. He sighed and said, "Plagg, you can come out." He called good stubborn kwami, but the only thing he got was, "I'm sleeping." He sighed and took out a piece of camembert, as a black creature came out of his bag to eat it. Felix looked at Marinette's reaction waiting for a response. "Tikki you can come out as well," she said with her head down. "Sugar cube," Plagg squealed as he tackled the red kwami. "Let go. You smell like cheese," Tikki exclaimed.
"So, you're Chat Noir?" she silently asked. "Yes. It seems like it, my queen," he replied with a very Chat Noir like grin. "How did you come across with the book?" she asked calling onto her Ladybug courage. "Well this book isn't really mine. I think I saw Adrien with this book earlier in the library, but then I saw it with this Italian girl at the park. She threw it in the trash can forgetting about it. So I took it to give it back to Adrien, but it seems like it will be more useful for us. I must have fallen asleep reading it," he explained. "Are you saying that Adrien was in possession with this book? You do know this could be a lead to finding Hawkmoth," Marinette said. "I'm well aware of the fact that it will be our lead to him," he said reading her eyes. "I'm not implying that Adrien's Hawkmoth, but I'd say that my uncle is," he added. She then furrowed her eyebrows and began thinking. "You're right, Mr. Agreste is a very reserved man who's distant even towards his own son," she said. "Not only that if you look closely at his logo and the interior design of the mansion there are a lot of clues that could confirm him to be Hawkmoth," he added. "Good observation kitty," she complimented earning a playful grin from the blond.
He stood up from where he was seated and made his way to her. "Well, now knowing your identity, it will be impossible for you to escape this time," he says as he crouched down to her level. "Now Purrincess I think I know who my competition is now," he said as he used his index finger and thumb to raise Marinette's chin to face him. This caused her to go bright red. Red enough to compete against her suit. Summoning all her Ladybug strength, she was able to push him away with her her fingers on his nose. "Not so fast kitty. Now that I know your identity it gives me the leverage to avoid you," she teased. He then gave his cute pout and chuckled.
I love the pastel like color in this one and the first was muted. It's *chef's kiss* beautiful!
Day 2: Flower Picking
-
Some consider dandelions to be weeds, they grow in the damnedest of places- steadfast and true. They crack through the concrete and have the audacity to bloom... sounds an awful lot like someone I know.

OMG SHE'S SO CUTE!!! HER MOM IS SO SWEET!!! HER DAD IS ADORABLE!!! SHDJKFIEHEBDHUS
I have a headcanon that Marinette was a chubby baby/kid, growing up with two pastry chef parents in a bakery and all 😅
Here they are just after buying the bakery.
