Part 2/ Part 3/ Part 4/ Part 5/ Part 6/ Part 7
The water looks so inviting mostly after all that has happened to you. Marinette felt numb, not really caring whether or not people, other than her family, would care. She didn't feel like the bubbly girl that she was since the start. She didn't feel the responsibility of being Ladybug surge through. All that filled her head was how everyone in class turned against her because of Lila's lies.
"Marinette can you stop being so jealous and possessive and manipulative for once!" Alya shouted at her. "Alya, can you stop blaming Marinette for once!" Adrien shouted back. "I know that Lila's lying and I know Marinette's telling the truth. Can you stop! For once, stop thinking that Lila's such a perfect angel!" he added. "Adrien, just stop, please," Marinette pleaded him. "I-i-it's a-alright Alya, Ma-ma-marinette didn't mean to," Lila cried, hiding her victorious grin. "Sh, sh, don't worry Lila, but it's not okay," Alya comforted her. "Dude, you should apologize," Nino said to the pair. The two then scowled at their ex-best friends, but before they could retaliate, Natalie appeared to the scene. "Adrien," she sternly called. He flinched, knowing what will happen. He then took Marinette by the wrist and walked towards the exit with Natalie following behind. "I'm sorry Adrien," Marinette said as he got into the car, he then gave her a sad smile and a curt nod.
That night she waited for his call. Anxiety teasing through her body, finally after dinner, she heard her phone ring. She immediately answered it and heard Adrien's shaky voice on the other line. "What happened? How did it go?" she asked. "H-he, m-my father," he stuttered. "He's pulling me out of school," he said. "What! Why?" she asked, worry slowly sunk in. "He said that you're a bad influence and so is the school, he's sending me to New York," he replied. "I-I'm so sorry Adrien," she replied, feeling the tears attempting to escape. "It's alright, it was my choice anyway. It was either going to school but ignore you, or go to a different country but be able to contact you," he replied. "If I chose the former, it would break my heart seeing you, and it's not like I have any other friends," he added. "Promise that we'll keep in touch," she whispered. "I promise, but I've got to go now, I need to do something," he answered. "Yeah, sure, good night," she replied. "Good night," he responded.
Once the call ended she summoned her transformation to vent out by swing across the city. She arrived at their rendezvous point to find a crying Chat. Without hesitation she walked to him and wrapped her arms around him. "Chat, are you ok?" she asked. "My lady," came his response. She then sat beside him as she let go. "What's wrong?" she queried. "I'm leaving," he replied. "Why?" she asked. No please, not Chat, I can't lose them both at the same time, she thought. "My father, he wants to transfer me to New York," he answered. "That's why I have to give up being Chat Noir. I'm sorry," he said in between sobs. "When?" she pressed. "Tomorrow, he already got the papers done this morning, with all his connections and money, I never doubted it," he let out a strained chuckle. "I planned to give up my miraculous after patrol. One last taste of being Chat Noir. Never had I wanted an akuma attack so badly," he cried. He then felt Ladybug pull him up to his feet. "Let's go have one last run together, until you come back," she said with tears in her eyes as she wiped his. He gave out a small smile as they raced on the rooftops of Paris.
After their run they heard a blast, making both of them smile and eagerly defeated the akuma. With five minutes remaining, they raced on the Paris rooftops with Ladybug leading. Ladybug grabbed his arm and pulled him onto her balcony. "Why are we at Marinette's?" Chat asked. "I want to tell you who I am," she replied. "A-are you sure?" he asked. "I've never been more sure. I want you to know," she replied as both of their transformations fall. If they were not crying earlier, they were crying now, crouched down in each others arms. Adrien Agreste WAS Chat Noir, Marinette Dupain-Cheng WAS Ladybug. They smiled at each other and hand in hand entered her room The two then spent their time in her room as Plagg floated next to Adrien, knowing that he'll miss his presence. It was one in the morning when Ladybug returned Adrien to his room with a longing kiss goodbye, promising to be together once he's back.
That was our plan, Marinette thought as she leaned on the railing if the bridge. The bridge where she and Adrien bought ice-cream from André's. This was the bridge where she and Kagami became friends. This was the bridge where she shared her ice-cream with Luka. Unfortunately, Adrien's plane crashed in the Atlantic, the cause was still unknown. If he had the horse miraculous, he would have survived, she thought again. Ever since his death, she gave up her miraculous giving it to the new ladybug holder as she apologized to Tikki. She also told her parents the truth and asked them to be part of the order of the guardians, and taught them the secrets to the miraculous.
It's been weeks since Kagami and Luka became the new Lady Luck and Monsieur Noir of Paris, they still reminded Paris about the original Chat Noir and Ladybug, who will always remain in their hearts, they even asked the mayor to make their debut Ladybug and Chat Noir's day. As for Lila, she began making more lies as to why Ladybug quitted like, "She felt too much pressure and wanted me to become the new ladybug but I had to refuse since I didn't feel worthy and it would be too obvious because I'm the new Ladybug since I'm her best friend, but I helped in picking out the new recruits."
Lies, lies, it was all lies, Marinette was the one who gave Kagami and Luka the cat and ladybug miraculous. It hurts, it hurts, so much. With one last look at the stars, she fell into the icy cold water of the Seine. She didn't feel anything else, until her head collided with a sharp rock at the bottom.
...
Marinette woke up with a massive headache. She found herself in an hospital ward, but her clothes were what she had been wearing when she tried to commit suicide. She watched her parents stare animatedly at her but said nothing. She then realised something, her parents were not looking at her, but something behind her. She followed their line of sight to find herself. She had her head wrapped up in bandages, her hair was down, a pipe was in her throat for food. Her nose also had the typical dexterous to help her breath, another was connected to her large intestine for excretion. That was when she knew, she was in her astro form. Her soul left her vegetable body and is free to wander since she was in a coma.
She got up and began walking towards her parents. Their tear strained eyes watched her wistfully, hoping that she would wake up soon. Her grandfather's bread was in a basket next to her bed. Her Nona's helmet was found in one of the chairs, signifying that she was there. She touched her father's cheek, only to have her hand pass through his face. She was a ghost, or a spirit, either way she was neither dead nor alive. She went to her mother who was walking towards her body taking her hand, she felt warmth, a sign that she can still feel and not exactly dead. She watched as the monitor showed that her heart beat was normal and resting.
All of a sudden her classmates, along with Lila were inside her room. All with devastated faces, even Lila, which surprised her. Alya and Nino was crying along with Rose, Mylène, Chloé and basically everyone was crying except for Lila who still had shock written all over her face. Although the same couldn't be said for her parents. Tom got up as Sabine moved closer to Marinette's body. "Leave," he said. "What? Why? Marinette is our friend, we have to be here for her," Alya exclaimed. "Really, so you have no idea as to why she committed suicide?" Tom asked with a growl this time. "Isn't it obvious? It's because Adrien died," she answered. This time Sabine got up and threw her Marinette's note. Alya dropped to her knees as she read it out loud, causing everyone to cry harder. There she explained that Adrien was not the reason as to why she died. He was the reason as to why she still lived even though he passed, but she said that she could not take it anymore, all the bullying, all the rumours, all the lies and the threats. After reading the note, Alya turned to Lila asking for an answer. But this time she was crying, was it guilt or were they real.
"Get out," a growl erupted from behind them, to find Marinette's grandfather. "I-I'm so so-" Alya tried to say. "Don't give us your half assed apology, the damage has been done, now get out!" Sabine shouted. They all but rushed out of the room with Marinette's ghost. Once the door was closed they all turned to Lila for an explanation and as if some divine intervention, Jagged Stone appeared with his mascara dripping down with his tears as he pushed past the teens to enter her room.
"Mr. Stone?" Kim asked. "What! Can't you see I'm in a hurry to see my niece!" he exclaimed. "Niece? But isn't it just Marinette in there?" he asked. "Just Marinette," he says in a low voice. "Just Marinette! This is my niece we're taking about, the sweetest, kindest girl I'll every meet!" he exclaimed as Penny arrived. "But what about Lila?" Kim asked. "Lila? Lila! That crazed girl who thinks I have a kitten and deliberately bullied my niece! She's here? Where is she!" he exclaimed with outrage only to be held back by Penny.
If Marinette was still alive, she would have enjoyed watching Lila's lies crumble down, but now she doesn't feel anything. "What a mess?" she heard someone say from behind. She turned to find a boy around her age standing beside her. Not really minding, since he couldn't see her, she returned her attention towards Jagged and her classmates. But she turned her attention back to the boy when she saw a nurse pass through him. "Y-you're a ghost?" she asked catching his attention. "You can see me?" he asked. Now looking at him she thought that he resembled Adrien, like a lot. He was blond with green eyes, a head taller wearing a grey Polo shirt with a black vest she tie. "I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng," she introduced herself unconsciously. The boy stared at her and replied, "I'm Felix Graham de Vanilly." They turned their attention back to the commotion as they watched Alya punch Lila letting out her anger once she found out the truth.
"I'm sorry, they're my classmates," she huffed. "What's the deal with the girl in the glasses and the Italian?" he asked. She sighed and replied, "It's actually a very long sob story. Are you sure you want to hear it?" she asked. Felix smiled and replied, "There's nothing wrong with a long story, it's not like I'm going anywhere." Marinette smiled as Felix lead her away from the commotion as she began telling him her story.
"i'm surprised you're not taking this opportunity to speak ill of marinette" Kagami whacked her with good vocabulary

WTF is this??
I know it's cut but still why 😂
Idk if I should laugh or cry
Marinette clutched on the straps of her bag as she stood in front of Rose Heart Academy. She transferred here after the first semester ended, she had Ms. Bustier to thank for. She was the one who suggested the school and helped her transfer, since she noticed her distance between her and the class. Ms. Bustier tried to talk to her but Marinette didn't say anything until she suggested for her to transfer if she found her classmates overbearing. She felt anxious hoping that the people her wouldn't be like her old classmates back in François Dupont College. The school that drove her out and called her names and lies. After feeling a reassuring pat from inside of her small shoulder bag, where Tikki hid, have her another energy of hope.
She then took out her timetable and map to find her classroom. While she was trying to figure out the map, she found someone lower it with their pencil. She turned to find a dark skinned girl with curly brown locks which reminded her of Alya. She tensed a little as the girl spoke, "You're new here aren't you? I'm Angela de Gand, do you need any help? You look lost." She nodded as the girl took her timetable and nodded as she took her by the arm and dragged her to get Mathematics class. They then stopped in front of a classroom. "This is your Mathematics class," Angela said. "T-thank you, I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng," she thanked as the other girl nodded and went to the next room for her lessons. She then entered to find the classroom to be twice as large as her old one. It had twice the number of students with chairs like in her old school but with a more university like aura. She then took the back seat since it didn't seem to be occupied.
Once she sat down she earned looks from the others. As she waited for the teacher to arrive she heard someone cough, she turned to find a blond boy with gray eyes staring at her. "That's my seat," he said calmly. Marinette fumbled and got up apologizing as the boy took the seat only to have someone squealing at them saying, "Aww, Felix you have a seat mate now." Marinette then turned to find a brown hair boy wearing a blue and white shirt squeal. "Shut up Claude," Felix said. Marinette then turned to the boy named Claude and asked, "Are there any more seats?" Claude then turned to her saying, "You must be new, but no that's the only chair available, so please take care of Felix. I'm Claude Vernet by the way." She smiled and replied, "Thank you, I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng." This made his eyes go wide saying, "Wait, like the actual Tom and Sabine's bakery?" She nodded as he squealed 'Lucky'. Once the teacher arrived Claude and Marinette went back to their seats.
After math, Claude, along with a dark skinned boy who was wearing green, approached them. "Hey, Marinette, do you need any help in navigating the school?" Claude asked. She nodded handing him her timetable. "By the way, this is Allan, and that ice king over there is Felix," he introduced his friends as Felix took his bag. "You're in Allan's class next, science right?" Claude says. The two nodded as they exited the room. "Well I guess you're stuck with me Marinette," Allan said. She smiled at him and nodded, still feeling others eyeing her. "Well then see you guys later," Claude called as he and Felix went the other direction. "So Marinette," Allan called her attention. "Do you want to have lunch with us today, so that you wouldn't feel left out," he suggested. "Thanks, but I don't want to be a bother, I'll be fine," she says still finding it hard to trust them. "Are you sure? But if you change your mind, our table's always open," he says as they got into the lab sitting next to each other. "Can I see your timetable, so that I can help you with going to your classes?" Allan asked. She smiled gratefully and handed him her schedule. It seemed like they still have the same classes, with the exception of having Felix in the next, until lunch, but in the afternoon she'd have it with Allegra, then Claude and finally Felix.
Lunch finally arrived and Mari and Allan went their separate ways still reminding her that she's free to sit with them. She smiled and went in line to grab her lunch. She then found a lone table and made a bee line for it until she felt someone touch her arm. She flinched, not trusting any physical contact, anymore. She turned to find Angela smiling widely at her. "Hey Mari," she greeted. Marinette, however, cringed at the nickname she gave her, recalling it as the same nickname her old friends used to call her. "Come on, sit with us," she said as she dragged her towards their table. Despite her protests she was now in the center of the lunch room, seated with other girls she knows nothing of. "Hey girls," Angela greeted as she forced Marinette onto one of the chairs and sat down next to her. "This is Marinette she's new here," she added as Marinette felt the other people stare at her again. The others greeted her and began introducing themselves. "I'm Stefanie Russell," a red haired girl with short hair dressed in a cute pink dress said. "Elizabeth D'Alene," a girl with black hair wearing a pink sweater and blue pants. Come to think of it all the girls are wearing pink. Angela was wearing a pink tank top and magenta jumper shorts. The girls clothing did fit the school's dressed code, it was not that short, but modest.
"We don't usually do this," Stefanie said. "But we could make an exception," Elizabeth added. "You designed Adrien Agreste's hat right?" Angela asked. Marinette nodded slowly, knowing where this is going. "Well since you have a symmetrical face you could do?" Elizabeth said. "But she could still afford to lose a few pounds," Stefanie added. Angela then cleared, "What we're saying is that, do you want to join our group? You are new and you need some good friends. Remember on Mondays we wear pink, Tuesdays skirts, Wednesdays shorts, Th–."
"No," came Marinette's quick reply. "Excuse me? Angela asked feeling offended. "I'm sorry, you all seem nice but, it seems like you only want to be friends with me because of my connections with Adrien," she reasoned. Angela's eyes went wide as she said, "Well that is a mistake." With that all of Marinette's food spilled all over her. The whole school saw what happened and began laughing. Marinette felt so small, it was just the first day and she was already blacklisted. She wanted to cry, she wanted to hide, she should have took Allan's offer. She then felt someone pull her up and dragged her away from the girls who were hysterically laughing. She turned to find a tan skinned blonde wearing a white polo shirt and a violet vest. She then saw Allan put his hand on her shoulder for support, as he glared at the girls. She watched as Felix and Claude approached the girls as she was dragged away.
"Oh, Felix honey, did you just see the transferee, she such a funny little girl, getting food all over her clothes," Angela said once she noticed his presence. She was only greeted by cold eyes and a glare from Claude. "Grow up Angela, this isn't a TV show where you can just be a mean girl or whatever you call yourselves, this is reality," Claude says earning a few oohs from those who were listening. "Come on Claude, you know that's not true, right Fe?" she stated. "If you please Ms. de Gand, restrain yourself from any childish behaviour, you are supposed to be the face of the de Gand company, however your actions speak otherwise, so kindly learn proper etiquette and decorum," Felix ended. With that they left the three girls who were fuming because of how the two stood up for Marinette.
Claude and Felix went back to their table to finish their lunch to find Allan seated there. "Allegra said that she'll take care of Marinette," he stated. After a few minutes Allegra and Marinette came back, with a fresh pair of shorts and a white polo. She guided her to their seat while the others were still looking at her. Once seated Allan slid Marinette a new tray of food. "It's alright honey, they're just staring at you because of the three, not at what happened earlier. Marinette just nodded as she took small bites of her lunch not wanting to look up. "Don't let them bother you," Allan said when he noticed the three staring a hole into Mari. "Thank you," she mumbled as she took a sip out of her carton. The others smiled as Claude replied, "Of course, what are friends for?" She flinched at this as she raised her head and asked, "W-we're f-friends?" The three have her a soft smile as they nodded in agreement. "Of course we are, I mean even Felix over here defended you," Claude said as he puts his arm over the blond's shoulder.
"It was only out of spite. Ms. De Gand must start learning to respect others despite their social standing," Felix said. Marinette then smirked at this saying, "Of course, because you do that to every person in need, right?" This caught him off guard and simply took a bite from his lunch. "Oh, so does that mean I'm different? Or maybe, I don't know, special?" she pushed. Felix then put his fork down and glared at the girl. "If this is the gratitude I receive after offering my assistance, I might as well left you at their mercy," he said. "Such a big vocabulary from someone who looks a tad small," she replied while making her eyes go to a certain area. This made the rest of the group's eyes go wide and laughed at how red Felix went. Even Marinette herself didn't even expect herself to be saying such things, but she still couldn't help but let out a victorious grin.
"Oh my-y G-g-god," Allegra said in between laughs. "It's final, you're definitely my girlfriend," she says. "I can't believe you actually said that to him," Claude says laughing harder than before. "Damn, no one has ever says anything like that to him," Allan added. Marinette then smiled and laughed along with the group. Once the laughter died out, Felix regained his composure and got up from his seat and went over to whisker something in her ear, "I'll let you know that my dick is way bigger than my vocabulary. I would let you see it if you still need confirmation," he whispers and gives her a shit eating grin. Marinette then turned beet red at his comment, making him enjoy her flustered expression. With that he stalked away giving her a flirty wink as she tries to straightened herself. This made her smile, thinking that this year might be different after all.
Day 18 of Felinette November: Fairytale
So the “Gabriel Agreste” was out in when I planned on drawing so like, um, let the two battle for the cinammon boy.
Being a superhero has its cons, like the lack of sleep. During free period Marinette was sleeping in the library where she was supposed to be researching for her report to be passed the day after tomorrow, but since Hawkmoth seemed to have a lot more free time, he decided to send akumas even at night. The young girl slept peacefully not minding the other students since she was at the very back and secluded area of the library. However, not everyone who comes to the library knows this place but an anti social bookworm might.
Felix had just escaped from a group of fangirls. You just take one photoshoot with Adrien and now you're being chased by his fangirls and your own, he thought to himself. He decided to go to his sanctuary, the library. He greeted the librarian and headed towards the back to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. What he did not expect was to his classmate sleeping in his area. He looked at Marinette as she peacefully slept there with a silent smile and sweet closed eyes. He then sighed and decided to sit on the opposite desk to read.
...
Marinette woke up to find that the was a piece of paper on her desk that had summarised the discussion on the book with a note saying that she should get more sleep. She pondered on who placed it there for her. She looked around to find that know has been around the area. She then smiled and silently thanked whoever summarised the notes for her.
The next day, Marinette had to wake up around seven since Hawkmoth decided to start the day with an akuma attack. The fight finished arrive 7:50 giving Marinette a quick run in her house and to school. With last night's and this morning's akuma attack, she lost five hours of sleep. During class she half listened since she can't possibly focus at the task at hand. After what seemed like an eternity, class finally came to an end. She was walking home when she saw plopped on one of the park benches was a blond who had a book over his face. She neared the sleeping figure and recognized him. "Well, I guess even Felix sleeps anywhere," Marinette commented to Tikki. "He must have had a sleepless night as well," Tikki replied.
She then flew to his face, covered by a book. She then let out an audible gasp at this. "M-Ma-Marinette," she stuttered. "I think I know this book," she said in a series tone. Marinette then took a close look at it as well. "What book is this Tikki?" she asked. "It's not just any book. This book is the book of the miraculous," she exclaimed. "Wait, you mean this book is all about the miraculous?" she asked for verification, to which Tikki nodded. "Why does he have it?" Marinette pondered. "The guardian lost this book years ago along with the butterfly miraculous. I fear that the book is in Hawkmoth's possession," she replied. "Are you saying what I think you're saying?" she asked hesitantly. Tikki nodded to confirm her theory. "But we can't be sure yet. I'll search him," she said as she began searching Felix for the brooch. "Tikki wait," she says a bit too loudly.
Felix stirred from his sleep and slowly removed the book from his vision to find a panicking Marinette in front of him. He groaned and said, "This is the thanks I get from the person who stole my spot on the library just to fall asleep." She then blinked for a few minutes and recovered. "You what?" she finally asked. He then let out a deep sigh and sat right up and replied, "Nothing." Feeling awkward about the situation Marinette says, "So, what's that book about?" Catching his attention, he then felt a surge of panic and quickly put it back in his bag. "Nothing important," he says as he gathered his things to leave. "Wait!" she says in a panicked tone as Tikki left. "I didn't find the brooch," she said. Marinette quickly clamps her up by catching her in her bag. This makes Felix freeze and turn towards her. "Was that a kwami?" he asked. "N-no," she stuttered. "Come with me," he said as he took her arm and headed towards the bakery.
"Marinette, oh it seems like you brought a friend," Sabine said as she saw her daughter come inside with a classmate. "Good afternoon Ma'am, I'm Felix Agreste. I'm here to help Marinette with her essay since she needs a copy reader," Felix smoothly lied. "I'm Sabine, Marinette's mother. Thank you for helping her with her essay," she introduced herself. "Alright, you kids head upstairs and I'll bring you snacks," she says as she ushered the two upstairs. Once in the living room Felix dropped Marinette's hand and asked, "Where's your room? I believe that it's safer to talk there," he says. She then led him to her room and offered him to sit on the chaise while she sat on the chair by her desktop.
Felix locked the trap door and sat on the chaise. "You're Ladybug aren't you?" he asked with a stern voice. "Why should I tell you?" she asked, still suspecting him to be Hawkmoth. He then sighed and said, "Plagg, you can come out." He called but the only thing he got was, "I'm sleeping." He then sighed and took out a piece of camembert, then a black creature came out of the bag to eat it. Felix looked at Marinette's reaction waiting for a response. "Tikki you can come out as well," she said with her head down. "Sugar cube," Plagg squealed as he tackled the red kwami. "Let go. You smell like cheese," Tikki exclaimed.
"So, you're Chat Noir?" she silently asked. "Yes. It seems like it My queen," he replied with a very Chat Noir like grin. "How did you come across with the book?" she asked calling onto her Ladybug courage. "Well this book isn't really mine. I think I saw Adrien with this book earlier in the library, but then I saw it with this Italian girl at the park. She threw it in the trash can and forgot about. So I took it to give it back to Adrien but it seems like it will be more useful for us. I must have fallen asleep reading it," he explained. "Are you saying that Adrien was in possession with this book? You do know this could be a lead to finding Hawkmoth," Marinette said. "I'm well aware of the fact that it will be our lead to him," he said reading her eyes. "I'm not implying that Adrien's Hawkmoth, but I'd say that my uncle is," he added. She then furrowed her eyebrows and began thinking. "You're right. Mr. Agreste is a very reserved man who's distant even towards his own son," she said. "Not only that if you look closely at his logo and the interior design of the mansion there are a lot of clues that could confirm him to be Hawkmoth," he added. "Good observation kitty," she complimented earning a playful grin from the blond.
He then stood up from where he was seated and made his way to her. "Well, now knowing your identity, it will be impossible for you to escape this time," she says as he crouched down to her level. "Now Purrincess I think I know who my competition is now," he said as he used his index finger and thumb to raise Marinette's chin to face him. This caused her to go bright red. Red enough to compete against her suit. Summoning all her Ladybug strength, she was able to push him away with her her fingers on his nose. "Not so fast kitty. Now that I know your identity it gives me the leverage to avoid you," she teased. He then gave his cute pout and chuckled.
Please they could've just removed the full face mask and stick with the phantom of the opera style!!!😩😩😩😭😭😭

I hate his Peacock-Butterfly design blah blah redesign blah blah, it’s been four seasons now, you know the drill.
Design Notes!
> The dark theme is supposed to represent the point of no return. The only part of the outfit that has light elements is the neckerchief held by the brooches (a sliver of sanity left in someone embroiled with grief and madness) which represents the power of the miraculous. He uses his miraculous to see his ‘pure-hearted’ goals through. Those same goals also hold together the level of corruption he’s now sunken into.
> He’s paler and his hair blanches considerably. Represents both miraculous, the level of power and the corruption in his goals sucking his life away (figuratively and literally).
> That power overflows from the Miraculous and overtakes his body NOT because they’re broken, but because his abysmally negative intent overloads them.
> His armor and cloak represent the dark wings that rise
> Mayura’s head pieces turns into an eyepatch for Shadowmoth; represents the eye-for-eye trade for such monumental power.
Part 1/ Part 2/ Part 3/ Part 4/ Part 5/ Part 6
Tom meet up with the heroes outside the hospital and waited for Monsieur Noir to retrieve the necklace from Vulpes. "I'm sorry, it's all my fault. If I had been quick enough or if I didn't pull her, she would still be alive," Vulpes exclaimed as she cried, not realising that her transformation had already dropped. Monsieur Noir pulled her into a hug and said, "It's alright, it's not your fault Ondine. None of us saw it coming. You are not to blame." This calmed the girl down as they separated. Trixx patted the girl's cheek and reassured that it was not get fault. Ondine thanked them and apologized again, and finally left.
"Claws in," Luka said dropping his transformation and have both kwamis food. He can already feel the tears flow and he can't stop it. He then felt a strong pair of arms hug him from behind. "It's alright, son. The three of you did your best," Tom said in a broken voice as he couldn't stop the tears. Luka returned the hug, feeling hopeless and useless. Plagg and Trixx joined in too, mourning for their dear guardian. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I couldn't save her the first time and even now, I'm always too late," Luka cried as he blamed himself for it all.
...
Sabine found Kagami crying in the corner. Her heart broke, she bent down and engulfed the quivering girl in a hug. "Mrs. Cheng?" Kagami asked in surprise. "It's alright dear. I know what happened, and I don't blame any of you. You all tried your best," Sabine said in a hoarse voice. Kagami clung to the woman as she cried at her failure. Tikki even joined in as she tried to calm both women. But all together they cried for their sunshine.
...
Tom, Sabine, Gina, Rolland, Kagami and Luka, all waiting outside the emergency room. The old couple seated across each other with tears as they looked at the door expectantly. The parents were in a silent embrace of tears and heartbreak. Luka stood and leaned against a wall as he looked at the floor with a blank expression. Kagami had her eyes closed to calm her mind as tears continued to flow.
The door opened to their doctor, everyone was on their feet now. The doctor could only look at them with empathy as he uttered the sad news.
...
Marinette fluttered her eyes to find distressed faces around her. Seeing this she already knew without even having anything to say. "Good to see you, Marinette," she heard someone say from behind. Recognizing the voice, this made eyes tear up again. She turned around to find her friends there, waiting for her.
She immediately got off the hospital bed and jumped into their arms. "Joined the club?" Claude joked as they were in each others arms. This made them all laugh holding each other tighter. "I know this is bad, but I'm glad you're here," Allegra added. "Sorry to be the first to die," Kenya apologized, earning a laugh from the others. "As much as I would've wanted us to be alive together, this could work, too," Lindalee said with a smile. "Does this mean none of you are visiting my grave?" Allan quipped. "I definitely doubt that," Felix replied.
Once they have finally calmed down, they let go. Marinette immediately punched Felix on the arm with all her strength. "Ow! What was that for?" he asked rubbing his arm. "That's for not closing you're eyes when Medusa turned you to stone," she scolded. "Why not a thank you instead?" Felix retorted but was silenced when Marinette kissed his cheek. "How about that instead?" she said with a grin.
"Will you two ever stop flirting when I'm around?" Grim commented from behind. Felix threw an arm over Marinette's shoulder. "You're just lonely," he countered. This made them giggle at his comment. Grim sighed and mumbled something between the lines of, "Annoying little brats." "Is this the thanks I get for waiting since Kenya's death?" Grim asked. "Oh, come on. Lighten up, you know that we appreciate it," Allan said. This made Marinette look at them with wide eyes. "You guys waited for me?" she asked with surprise.
"I asked Grimm to not let me crossover yet, until all of you are safe," Kenya said. "But we all died. I still find it unfair that I was the only one on the floor where I died," Allegra complained. "Yeah, I guess almost all of us died alone. Except for Marinette, she died with doctors and nurses around her," Claude joked. "Well, I always thought we could all be together alive, but I instead we all died together," Lindalee added. "Booooo, then what about me?" Allan said. "You, my friend, are not included because we died together," Felix teased as the six of them clustered together leaving Allan out. "Ouch, hurtful," he said, pretending to be insulted.
"Are you kids done or do you not want to crossover?" Grimm impatiently asked. They nodded excitedly as they held hands and formed a circle around him. "You too, Mr. 'I'm not included in this group,'" Grimm said pointing at Allan. Allan's mouth went ajar at what Grimm said making him unable to move. "Hey, get in here already," Claude said reaching out as he included him in their circle. Allan held onto Claude's and Felix's hands. Grimm the placed the end of his scythe on the floor.
Water started coming out from underneath them as it began to cover them like a sphere. Kenya tightened her grasp on Marinette's and Lindalee's hand as they were covered with the water. Grimm began to chant as the water has concealed them all from the world of mortality;
"Ameles potamos.
Let this water Lethe,
Help you through your cross.
Let your mind be clear,
Of all those things you lost."
From the water is the river of forgetfulness, the seven souls slowly felt their minds clear. Clear from suffering, clear from pain, clear from hate and clear from brief. With this they were calmly brought to the afterlife.
"You kids can open your eyes now," Grim says as he looks around glad to be back. Opening their eyes, they slowly adjust to the light, but once they opened it their smiles reached their eyes. They could see a grassy plain with light breeze blowing, a clear stream flowing with flowers blooming everywhere. "Wait, is that you Grim?" Claude asks with surprise. This made all of their jaws drop, for right in front of them was not the skeleton that had brought them here but a good looking man in a neat black suit with a scythe in hand.
Grim grinned at them saying, "Welcome to the demimonde." Kenya and Lindalee began to run towards the flowers as they giggle along the way. Allan and Claude carried Allegra as they turned to a tree with sweet fruit just waiting to be picked. This left Marinette and Felix, which to their surprise, were still holding hands despite the others breaking free.
"It's beautiful," Marinette breathed. "Very beautiful," Felix replies while looking at her. "Together?" he asks as he brings their joined hands and places a kiss on it. She smiles and places a kiss on the same spot, saying, "Together."
