sometimes you just need to take a step back and realize how far you’ve come instead of how far left you have to go. you are going to mess up, and you are going to make mistakes and you aren’t always going to get it right. but, you are human. it happens. it’s okay.
Ahhhhhhh.
Now what? Now we walk, and we never look back. But, I– Don’t turn. Just walk.
Hannah Gadsby’s “Nanette” is one of the most powerful single hours of anything I’ve ever seen. I think it should be required viewing for all humans, or at least hetero, cis, males such as myself. If you need some set up: Hannah is a comedian leaving comedy and this is her final performance — but it feels like the start of something big. *Trigger warning for emotionally intense discussion of sexual violence.
Chester Bennington, Whitney Houston, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Chris Cornell, Amy Winehouse and so many more. RIP
Okay, this one took a second to get. Then I busted out laughing.
