First Meal Of Scotland! This Was The Only Picture Of Food I Got For The 2nd Cause I Forgot To Take Pictures...

So I’ll start with a full Scottish breakfast for my food blog. I’m not going to lie I’m not a big fan breakfast. I just don’t really eat it and when I do it’s very small, like toast or waffles with coffee or hot chocolate. Like it’s very small and I don’t eat breakfast. So I’m kind of afraid of this, just because I don’t like a majority of breakfast items. I know! I’m insane and weird! But no matter what I’m going to try it, however much I dread it. So the full Scottish breakfast has eggs :P, ham, sausage, toast, black pudding, tomatoes, and hash browns, so yeah some if it I'm sure I'll like...hopefully

These were my second day lunch and supper meals. For lunch I had sweet and sour pork with rice and a chocolate cake for dessert. The pork was pretty good considering I was l usually don't like Asian food, the cake...OMG that cake was delicious and it came with a raspberry sauce and an espresso sauce, they made the chocolate taste pop! It was amazing! Then that night we were staying at a hostel and they gave us lasagna and chips with a pear or apple pie like thing. So they serve chips with literally everything, and they gave us ketchup. Well it wasn't ketchup, our manger James was first in line and got what he thought was ketchup until he dipped his chips in it, only it was strawberry sauce and declared that they should never be combined. Anyway the lasagna was eh, like the cheese was like not cheese. So no on the lasagna. The pie thing though was good I still don't know if it was pears or apples. The crust was more like a shortbread, but it was good. So official opinion, second day food much better!

I don't know what day this was, but we were in St. Andrews, Scotland. We had lunch at a golf course after we had a really brief tour of the town. It was absolutely beautiful and historic. For lunch we had a had pea soup with a roast beef sandwich ( I think), with chocolate cake for dessert. The soup was delicious, that was the first time I'd ever had pea soup. The sandwich was also good, and apparently the people over there don't normally dip sandwiches in soup is weird, but we do stuff that's weird to them too. The cake was extremely rich, which is never bad. For supper we had our first taste of real fish and chips. It was really good. The chips could have used some salt, but oh well. For dessert we had a sticky toffee cake...again I think. It was good but there was something I just wasn't so sure about with its taste. But the food has been really good.

in my travels i’ve seen/read just about every aaron tveit interview ever conducted, so i thought i’d share with you all the fruits of my labor

he loves to read (and is a self-proclaimed “book snob”) and has read all the song of ice and fire books at least twice each

he is a massive history nerd. i’m talking complete history dweeb

his first big job was being an understudy for the national tour of rent and he used to “make up five-act plays for himself” to keep himself entertained. “i thought everyone was like this!”

he read for the role of dimitri for the broadway musical adaptation of anastasia (which tragically didn’t end up getting made)

he has food allergies and because of this he cooks 90% of his own food

he reads lots of books about nutrition and says that if he wasn’t an actor he’d maybe be a nutritionist

most of his tweets include at least two exclamation points, as do every answer in write-in/email interviews

1/3 of his instagram posts are golf pictures, usually golf selfies

he speaks “a little bit of spanish,” but according to the comments on the video his spanish is great and he speaks it with a perfect cuban accent

according to his costars, he never forgets his lines and usually knows everybody else’s lines too, except for the one time his parents visited the set and he kept messing up

he helped make up the backstory for his graceland character mike warren, in which mike has ADHD and is from a lower class family and has had to work for everything his entire life

in season one of graceland there’s a scene where a villain puts a gun in mike’s mouth, and the gun was supposed to be empty but at some point it had been loaded with a blank (if it had gone off accidentally, it would have been the equivalent of a firecracker going off in his mouth) but at the last second aaron decided to check the gun just to be safe

he thinks that fiyero in wicked is “such a bad boy” and an asshole. fiyero, who shows up and sings a seven minute song about dancing and then falls head over heels in love with the main character

his first week as fiyero on broadway, he fell over on stage and the audience laughed at him (he enthusiastically jumped back up and kept going). “i just bit it so hard on stage.”

after catch me if you can ended, he said that he had a recurring nightmare where he’s in an audition and he looks down at the sheet music and it’s blank and he doesn’t know what to do

he has competed in a citi field spartan race (a 3 mile obstacle course) and a tough mudder competition (“a 10-16 mile endurance series of military-style obstacles that play with human fears such as fire, water, electricity, and heights”), both for charity. side note: tough mudder competitions have killed people

he loves video games and his favorite is elder scrolls online (if you don’t know what that is, it’s one of those fantasy multiplayer role-playing games that tv shows always make fun of nerds for playing)

in high school he played multiple sports and was very active in the theatre department/show choir

he was offered full-ride scholarships to three different colleges for business

his favorite superheroes are the silver surfer because “he rides around on a cool surfboard” and batman because “he’s just a man!”

his favorite tv cops are mulder and scully

his favorite tv show is friday night lights and he cried during the episode where smash gets a scholarship to go to college

he loves frosted flakes and has mentioned them in multiple interviews

he loves the show carousel and billy bigelow is his dream role

he’s narrated three audiobooks: “perfect” by ellen hopkins (about four teenagers: a lesbian coming to terms with her sexuality, a model struggling with anorexia, an steroid-addicted athlete with borderline personality disorder, and a dancer/artist who worries his family won’t accept him), “dead to you” by lisa mcmann (about a boy who was kidnapped as a child and is now being returned to his family and struggles with ptsd and anxiety and adjusting to normal life), and “the angel esmerelda” by don delillo (a collection of short stories written over a span of thirty years)

The next dish I plan to try is Irish stew. This dish is a simple stew made with either lamb or beef with vegetables such as potatoes and carrots. I think this stew will be good, probably because I'm a meat and potatoes girl regardless of form.
