I don't know who needs to hear this but you're allowed to hate this reality. I remember in early shifttok they would drag YOU if you said that you did, have you seen the state of our world? Who WOULDN'T hate this reality? not to mention telling people not to hate this reality make people feel invalidated for how the perceive this reality.
Adding on to this if you don't like this reality that is fine! It can't hold you back from shifting, I know that there are some shifters out there (me included) that use shifting as an escape and that is fine. Just because you want to shift really badly, put your Dr on a pedastal, hate this reality, etc does not mean you can't/won't shift.
Your emotions are valid, the way you feel about this reality is valid. You shouldn't feel obligated to be thankful to this reality first before you shift. I hate this reality as well, it is quite literally my entire reasoning for permashifting/respawning.
Shift your reality by any means, shift your reality under any circumstances.
You HAVE to stop putting people who have shifting above you, they are not the "chosen" one, they were not hand picked by the shifting gods, they are not some magical shifting gurus that have studied the art of reality shifting for years and years. No.
They don't hold the secrets to the multiverse, and they can NOT shift you. They are not above you, SHIFTING is not above you. Stop acting like it's some special power that was granted to a certain few, because it is quite literally the opposite.
And as someone who shifted I can assure you it's nothing special. You know back in early shifttok when people would say that shifting is as easy as breathing and you would HATE it, because when you looked around you still saw your Cr?
Well, when I shifted it was easy, no it was natural. There was no light beam splitting the sky in two, lifting my body from my Cr bed into my haikyu Dr (yes that was my first ever dr) no, the shift was easy. It was natural, in fact it was so natural I didn't even realize it at first.
I didn't do anything special, I promise you. I pinky swear. Shifting is something we do all the time, shifting is NOW. It's not an obstacle course, it is not an exam, it is not rocket science.
Look, there's nothing to manifest, because it's already yours. You don't have to try anything, I say it in all my posts, decide that what you want is yours because it is. I know it seems too easy to be true, but it is. And it pisses me off when you demand bloggers to explain things more, because there is nothing else to explain. Stop trying, stop looking, relax, it's yours.
reminder: shifting is real. you’re going to have memories from when you were a kid or random interactions with people you knew back then. even the dream you may have had when you were 10... oh and perhaps the supermarket you visited with your parents 6 years ago? your life in your dr doesn’t start from the moment you shift there. life is still life. don’t treat your dr as a ‘magical‘ place.
how to banish resistance effectively , resistance is not some grand cosmic force, sadly, it’s a habit. so stop. here’s how.
you are not your thoughts. they are not a mirror, not a diagnosis, not proof of failure. they’re just noise. when your brain spits out, 'this isn’t working,' don’t argue, don’t spiral, don’t even take it seriously. let it sit there. watch it fade. because it will. so stop identifying with intrusive thoughts.
resistance only survives if you start negotiating with it. the second you start dissecting a doubt, you’re trapped in its logic. don’t play along. when you get a thought like 'what if this isn’t working?,' just let it sit there unanswered, like an awkward question in a conversation you’ve already checked out of. give it nothing to work with.
resistance is only as powerful as the attention you give it. redirect your thoughts. immediately. to anything. every time doubt creeps in, think of something else. return to your assumption, your end goal, your desired reality. do it without hesitation. "but what if. ." no. "but i don’t feel. . .," don’t let resistance become the main thing. replace it, move on.
people act like doubt means something. it doesn’t. it’s just a feeling. a chemical reaction in your brain that passes, like hunger, like tiredness, like any other mood. let it exist without letting it define anything. don’t resist it, don’t analyse it. just let it float by like a passing car outside your window. not your car, not your problem. make peace with discomfort.
assume your power. resistance is a relic of a mindset that no longer serves you. you don’t have to fight it, you don’t have to fix it. you just have to stop believing in it. act like someone who already has what they want, and let resistance dissolve into irrelevance. it was never real to begin with.
stop treating resistance like an enemy to be defeated. it’s not a force, it’s a habit. and habits break the moment you stop giving them power.
Shifting has made me realize how much I really want to live. I actually want to do so much. I want to know worlds and instruments and languages and people and careers. I want to experience everything over and over and over again
And after all, it's really possible
