A Witch's Tools

a witch's tools

šŸ”® crystal balls are used to scry.

šŸ’Ž crystals are filled with energy. which makes them epic for spell work.

šŸ•Æ candles contain all the basic elements of the world — air, earth, water, fire. earth in the wax. water is the melted wax. the flame is obviously fire. and the air is smoke.

šŸ“– grimoires. it’s where you put your witchy experiences, your research. all the things you have learned about magick.

šŸ„€ herbs have magical properties for healing and spells.

āš—ļø jars. it’s pretty obvious — you can contain your crystals, herbs, etc in them.

šŸÆ mortar and pestles to grind and mix your ingredients.

šŸ“ sigils is a symbol created for specific magical purposes. so, they are powerful if you know what you want out of them.

šŸƒ tarot cards. a simple card reading can tell you about your past, present.. and future and how you can shape it.

ā˜•ļø tea and coffee are often used in the witchcraft community. they are energy manipulating drinks.

✨ wands are used by the witch pointing the wand and directing all energy towards the subject at the other end. it is viewed as an extension of the witch’s energy. it is extremely helpful in long distance spells.

šŸ“š your local library is bound to have some non-fiction witchcraft books. not really a tool but it’s definitely a resource.

Mermaid Dust!

Mermaid Dust!

Hi people! Tonight i bring to you this little DIY for getting beautiful Mermaid Dust done!

šŸ’™Mermaid Dust correspondences are:

As is strongly related to water, is useful for emotions, relationships, healing, psychic abilities, exorcism and purification. It can be used for love, luck and protection too! Also, it works perfectly fine as an extra boost for any spell.

šŸ’™This is how you make it:

✨ You’ll need sugar (love, luck, healing, purification), mint (exorcism, protection, healing), eggshell powder (protection) and glitter on the color of your choice (for making it moreĀ ā€œpersonalā€ to you. I use turquoise.) and crystals of your choice (optional)

~I recommend aquamarine, sodalite, emerald, citrine, pink quartz, amethyst, green quartz, tourmaline, hematite and/or clear quartz.

✨The amount of each thing i use is approximately the following, but you can use as much as you want and give it your own texture!

~¾ Sugar.

~2/4 Eggshell powder.

~2/4 Mint.

~¼ Glitter.

✨Then, put it all together and stir to mix it!

✨Once that you have something like this, put it on a jar or any type of container that you prefer, and use some crystals to charge it!

✨Here i’m using two pieces of aquamarine, one sodalite, two tourmaline, one pink quartz and one citrine.

✨Now, here comes something important. I leave it for a whole lunar cycle, from full moon ā€˜till the next one (or you can do it from the very start of the cycle, on new moon, ā€˜till the next new moon, choose based on your correspondences of which type of moon energy you want the dust to keep), on a closed wooden box with amethyst and clear quartz, so it can be properly charged. Another good idea is that, on a full moon night, you leave it outside surrounded by the gems you want it to be charged with.

✨At the end of the cycle, you can say a little chant of your choice when taking the dust out of the box or taking it inside home again or out of the windowsill… you understand my point lol.

šŸ’™Extra: As this is not safe to eat. If you want to make some eatable mermaid dust, i recommend using colored sugar (you can easily make it with white sugar and food colorant). Put it in some container, then put that inside your container with mermaid dust or surround your sugar container with a circle of mermaid dust (be careful not to mix it!) and leave it for a night, preferably on full moon. Next day you’ll have some dealicious mermaid sugar/dust for any healing spell, love spell, or any type you want to do!

You can make as much as you want of this, and is useful for almost everything! i really like it ♄

Well, hope you enjoyed this DIY!!!♄

Wolf Moon altar, January 2014.

Winter is strong now. Wolf winds, wolf dreams. Things bleed together, when I dream wolf dreams. So we have an esbat with some Three-Realm energy going on. It flows. No moon to be seen tonight, through the snow, but the wolves are still singing in the wind.

This year I will

Boneset Spell (2/25/17)

The Spell (The Goodly Spellbook):

Technically to be used on another injured person; however I used it on myself and it still worked.

For most wounds, bruises, pains, etc.

Call upon Gods and Goddesses of Healing

Place a hand above the wound, rocking steadily to your own set rhythm

Imagine the pain fleeing the body.

Repeat the following as many times as you see fit (I repeated it three times, and it worked for me, but this is about you and/or the person you are healing):

This is the spell that I intone,

Flesh to flesh, and bone to bone,

Sinew to sinew, and vein to vein,

And (injured’s name) is made whole again.

AddingĀ ā€˜So mote it be’ could have an effect but is not necessary(?)

Variation:

Merseburg Incantation:

Bone sprain like blood sprain like limb sprain,

Bone to bone, blood to blood, limb to limb,

like they were glued.

Adding ā€˜So mote it be’ could have an effect but is not necessary(?)

My Experience:

Previously, I had fallen whilst ice skating and injured myself fairly badly. Calling upon Woden, I recited theĀ first spell three times (saying ā€˜So mote it be’ at the end). Within a day, the spell began to work, taking a lot of the pain off of my backside. By the time I fell asleep, there was only a minute bit of pain that didn’t effect me all that much. Being a beginner witch, I would say this spell worked fairly amazingly and went off without a hitch. Thanks be to Woden.

Grounding Masterpost 🌱

image

Ā GROUNDING— To ground is an exercise that is used to clear and release excess energy, as well as to renew the energies within oneself and clear out the old. Traditionally done by envisioning roots stretching out from oneself into the ground, like a tree, and connecting through them to the earth. However, it can be done with simple visualization, and does not need to include nature, as long as the cycling of energy is completed.

grounding can be a long focused ritual, it can be a simple few movements. there are a variety of ways to ground besides these guided methods listed, it can be done in almost any way that cycles new energy in and old energy out.Ā

Witch tip

Unless it involves cleaning your room, don’t do chores in your bedroom. I have a tendency to fold laundry in my bedroom a lot and I hate folding laundry. You should make sure you’re not putting negative energy in the space that you sleep in and/or live in.
