HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Dailypillarfam is one year old! I started watching Jojo a whole year ago and made this blog, that’s bonkers. It’s been so fun making content for my favorite characters and interacting with others in the community, I’m excited to be one year old :)

EVENT

To celebrate one whole year I’m doing an Event and Art Raffle! All the villains have come to congratulate their ʷᶦᵈᵉˡʸ ᶦᵍⁿᵒʳᵉᵈ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵘⁿᵈᵉʳʳᵃᵗᵉᵈ fellow antagonists! This is a fourth wall breaking event, you can ask any villain anything about anything! This will last until August 5th (I’m accounting for days I know I’m going to be inactive, my brother is moving to North Carolina at the end of the month so I probably won’t be able to draw asks in the car gjdskgds). Be gentle with Pucci and Valentine, they’re the two I know the least about :’) but I’ll DO MY BEST, the Jojo wiki is always there for me. There will also occasionally be comics posted in the chibi style to prompt mini-scenes people can interact with, tho asks will mostly be drawn in my normal style

The Art Raffle is simple! To enter, you just gotta be following the blog and reblog this post! There will only be One Winner, and they will receive a full-body drawing of whatever they like! The winner will be announced at the end of the party on August 5th! I just wanted to say at the end here, thank you for everyone who followed my blog from the beginning and stayed when I changed art styles, got self-conscious about my abilities, and took breaks when it was too much. Thank you to new people who art shocked when they see the old art and don’t immediately throw tomatoes at me for how bad it was ghsdljgk

Just, thank you to the community for being so nice to me :) even one day when both of my blogs have ended, I will still make Jojo content because I like being here and I love these characters and you guys. Happy partying! - Scott

Astarte was an all-female black metal band from Athens, Greece, named after the goddess Astarte. The band first formed under the name Lloth in September 1995 at Athens, Attica. The original line-up included Maria "Tristessa" Kolokouri (bass, guitar, keyboards), who subsequently took over on lead vocals.

Maria Kolokouri, better known as Tristessa has died from complications of leukemia in 2014. Following Tristessa's death Astarte had split-up, as she was the leader and only consistent member during Astarte's nearly-twenty year career. (Rip)

Apparently it's time to start posting and reblogging How to Tumblr stuff again. Lots of people are hopping from Twitter to Bluesky. A big thing to emphasize is that "repost" is the term bsky uses for "retweet", and we need to educate on the difference between "repost" and "reblog" here on Tumblr. We have so many things saying "don't repost things!" and that might cause confusion now that bsky has entered the game. I'd hate to see people avoiding Tumblr because they got yelled at for something they didn't do, because lingo is different.

I'll start: on Tumblr, "reblog" is sharing the original post on your blog for your followers to see. "Repost" is creating a new post with something you saved or downloaded or screenshoted from someone else's blog, and that's highly discouraged here. Please reblog to share the original so the creator can get the interactions too.
