For All Mankind rewatch
Danielle Poole in 2x09 "Triage"
I came up for the idea for this one while looking out of my airplane window. In the last two years, I’ve travelled a lot, and I have a love/hate relationship with it. I don’t like the feeling of being away from home, and feeling slightly lost. But I love the feeling of having nothing to do but letting my mind wander, and thinking about places I’ve never been before. This piece is inspired by that mellow feeling ~
The Space Shuttle Discovery completes its roll to heading and begins its pitchover maneuver about 30 seconds after liftoff from Pad B of Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex 39.
Artists Note: It's actually T-Plus 23, but T-Plus 30 was decided on for the painting's title. Discovery is about 5,000 feet AGL, has completed 179 degrees of roll to heading and is pitched over about 20 degrees. The vehicle is gaining altitude at 500 feet per second while accelerating at 1.8g

i cannot stress the importance of letting yourself be autistic
not just the good parts, not the parts that are met with an “aw, that’s a good autistic trait, so it’s ok!”
no. fuck that. you’re autistic, and as long as you’re not hurting anyone (including yourself), do whatever the fuck you need to in order to have your needs met and feel comfortable.
it sounds harsh, but sometimes it needs to be: fuck other peoples’ feelings. they are not the top priority in your life, you are.
