Elaine: What is one thing you could spend all day talking about?

So many things. I am, and always will be, a talker. But if I had to pick just one thing, it would probably be about fan works and how their structure compares and contrasts the source material.

Gareth: Which fictional character do you relate to most?

Oh, this is difficult. If you had asked me this a year or two ago it would have been easier. Though I think I go with Aragorn (LOTR). He embodies a lot of who and what I want to be

It might be my childhood trauma speaking, but the idea of someone seeing the darkest, most vicious side of you and still finding you not just loveable but diabolically sexy makes me fucking swoon.

Sometimes I like to sit and experience the wild as it is. It is there where I am close to the gods. The gods are in the things which surround us and part of the process of the environment we live. It doesn't matter how urban or rural it is. It is there in which we can experience them and their presence. As the wind blows, the birds fly, the waters ripple, the earth smells. Just take it in.

I grew up with a grandma who quilted, but she’d never been interested in passing along the hobby, so when she finally kicked it I was the grandkid who got all her materials, ‘cause I was the only one who knew how to use a sewing machine. Then, in 2015, a friend had a baby and I figured I’d make her a quilt, ‘cause how hard could it be?

Luckily I am the stubbornest human alive, ‘cause I never woulda finished otherwise. I didn’t know what I was doing, didn’t know the terms to look up how to do anything, I musta reinvented the wheel like eight times and it took ten months, BUT I DID IT.

Figured I’d suffered enough and would never do it again and now I’m on quilt #9 smdh
