[Reported by Ibn 'Abbās in Marfū' form]

The Prophet (ﷺ) said,

"Be gentle [1],

and gentleness shall be rendered to you."

[1] Easygoing, Forgiving

Explaning it,

Manāwī said,

"Deal with Allah's creation who are [all] dependent upon Him and so are His slaves with gentleness [i.e, forgiveness] and ease. [and] their Master [Allah] will render the same to you in this Dunyā and Akhirah."

Practice Self Care First

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) Said,

Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said,

"Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder..."

Al Baghawī (رحمه الله) said,

"and Indeed He [Allah] did not liken it [i.e, the hardening of the hearts] to Iron even though it is harder than stones, because Iron is susceptible to softness [i.e, structural change] For Indeed, it softens with fire [...] and stones do not soften ever."

Indeed Mūsā (عليه السلام) used to say from his supplications

"O' Allah soften my heart with tawbah [repentance] and do not make my heart hard like a stone."

Abū Dharr رضي اللّٰه عنه said: “My khalīl (intimate friend, i.e. Rasūlullāh) ﷺ commanded me with seven [matters]:

1. He commanded me to love the poor and draw close to them

2. He commanded me to look at those who are below me and not to look at those who are above me (in terms of worldly matters)

3. He commanded me to maintain the ties of kinship even if it seeks to draw away

4. He commanded me not to ask anyone for anything

5. He commanded me to speak the truth even if it is bitter

6. He commanded me not to fear the blame of the blamers

7. He commanded me to increase in saying: لا حول ولا قوة إلا باللّٰه , for this is a treasure under the Throne [of Allāh].”

When the Prophet’s (sallallahu alahi wasllam) daughter, Fatima (radhi allahu anha) complained about the hardship of serving the family, grinding corn and blisters on her hand, the Prophet taught his daughter a Dhikr, and said, “It is better for you than a servant.”

This is what he taught her;

Subhan Allah, 33 times,

alHamdulillah, 33 time,

and Allahu Akbar, 34 times

- before going to bed.

See, Saheeh al-Bukharee (vol. 8, book:75, no: 330)

Dhikr gives you strength; such that you can do with Dhikr what you cannot do without it!

Imam Ibnul-Qayyim writes in al-Waabil al-Sayyib (p. 77) under benefit no 61;

“The one who persists in doing that will find strength in his body that will make him independent of the need for a servant.”

The Description of Imam Ahmad

Muḥammad b. ʿAbbās al-Naḥwī said: “I saw Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal with a handsome face, well-formed, رَأَيْتُ أَحْمَدَ بنَ حَنْبَلٍ حَسَنَ الوَجْهِ، رَبْعَةً، and dyeing his hair with henna that was not too dark. يَخْضِبُ بِالحِنَّاءِ خِضَاباً لَيْسَ بِالقَانِي، He had black hairs in his beard, فِي لِحْيَتِه شَعَرَاتٌ سُودٌ، and I saw his clothes extremely white. وَرَأَيْتُ ثِيَابَهُ غِلاَظاً بِيضاً، When I saw him, he was wearing a turban and an izār.”

🪴~ Read, Reflect, Take Heed

Take advantage of the seasons of your life and do not waste time! Use knowledge (ilm) and wisdom (hikmah) as guides. Race the time by taking advantage of it; and hold your 'selves' accountable and take a lot of good deeds to survive your journey for indeed death is about to knock on your doors.

On the authority of Anas ibn Mālik raḍhiyāllahu ‘anhu who said: “The most common supplication of The Prophet ﷺ was:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً»

“O Allāh, our Lord, grant us the good in this world,

and the good in the hereafter,

and save us from the punishment of the Hellfire.”

Agreed upon by Al-Bukhāri and Muslim | [

——

Al-Imām Ibn Kathīr raḥimahullāh mentions:

“The word الحسنة in the dunyā (worldly life) is inclusive of all that which is sought in this world from well-being, a spacious dwelling, a beautiful wife, righteous children, plentiful provision, beneficial knowledge, righteous actions, a pleasant means of transport, a praiseworthy mention and other things from that which has been mentioned, for they are all included in the meaning of الحسنة in this world. As for الحسنة in the hereafter, the highest of them is entering Jannah (Paradise) and its consequences of security from the great terror of Al-‘Araṣāt (the place where everyone will be gathered), an easy reckoning, and other matters of the hereafter. As for protection from the torment of the Hellfire, it necessitates facilitating its causes in this world by avoiding forbidden matters and abandoning doubtful things.”

Al-‘Allāmah Ibn Bāz - may Allāh have mercy on him - said:

The Virtues of Reciting the Book of Allah

(The Messenger ﷺ said): “Whoever read a letter from the Book of Allah then he will receive a reward for it and every good reward is multiplied by ten the like of it, “من قرأ حرفا من كتاب الله فله به حسنة، والحسنة بعشر أمثالها I do not say that ‘Alif, Laam, Meem’ is a ḥarf (ie: letter) لا أقول: {الم} حرف but Alif is a ḥarf, ولكن: ألف حرف and Lām is a ḥarf ولام حرف and Mīm is a ḥarf.” وميم حرف”. The Importance of Teaching Women About Their Religious Affairs

Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Some women requested the Prophet ﷺ to fix a day for them as the men were taking all his time. Thus, he promised them one day for religious lessons and commandments.

The First Thing Allah Removes From A Person When He Steps Into Jannah Is His Sadness. The People Of Jannah

The first thing Allah removes from a person when he steps into Jannah is his sadness. The people of Jannah will say:

🌺 ❛…𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵, 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘂𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳. 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗯 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲. 𝗪𝗵𝗼, 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿; 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁, 𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘂𝘀.❜ 【𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗿 𝟯𝟱:𝟯𝟰-𝟯𝟱】

We’re constantly moving from one state of difficulty to the next. From happiness to sadness, and to the next state. This is just the reality of this dunya. We can’t escape from sadness, from disappointment, from worry, anxiety, and difficulties.

🌺 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀: ❛𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗹.❜ 【𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗮𝗹-𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 𝟵𝟬:𝟰】

Why do we have to experience all these moments of pain? So that perhaps we may yearn for that life which is free from hardships — Allah’s Jannah. And one of the most beautiful things that happen when we enter Jannah by His Mercy, is that He will wipe away every single painful memories.

He provided for me

He will look after me

why do I drown myself then

in worry ?

over and over again

I strive to remind myself

my Creator will not abandon me

have patience, dear one

it will all fall into place

with one command of

"Be!"
