Wolfe is a former corpse who Jessie chose to steal from a hospital mourge borrow for her experiments. However, when she was done, Wolfe wasn't a mindless weapon, he was just a guy... but kinda wolf-ish. So now he works as an assistant for Jessie, mainly carrying out janitorial duties since he doesn't have any scientific knowledge. He doesn't have any memories from prior to his being re-animated (besides fairly basic motor function and things like speech & reading) so Jessie just calls him Wolf(e).

Theo is a biology graduate student who was working in Jessie's lab, he is naturally anxious and was the first to raise concerns about the morality of Jessie's experiments. He and Wolfe leave the lab while May stays. As they watch the fatality of Jessie's experiments ramp up, they find Fern's blog and team up to take down Jessie and save their friend.
