Wolfe is a former corpse who Jessie chose to steal from a hospital mourge borrow for her experiments. However, when she was done, Wolfe wasn't a mindless weapon, he was just a guy... but kinda wolf-ish. So now he works as an assistant for Jessie, mainly carrying out janitorial duties since he doesn't have any scientific knowledge. He doesn't have any memories from prior to his being re-animated (besides fairly basic motor function and things like speech & reading) so Jessie just calls him Wolf(e).
