hello, i was wondering if you knew where the term "lord high-protector" originated from? i see it very often in tf fanon, but i haven't seen such a thing in any canon media i've come across. i once heard a rumor that it's from the novel adaptation of the live-action movies, but i'm not entirely sure. love your works, btw!
Tbh all I know about it is that it comes from Bayverse? Supposedly Optimus was Prime (obviously) and Megatron was Lord Protector and the idea was the Prime and Protector were supposed to rule side by side, with the Prime representing the people and the Protector representing the military?
But this is absolutely something I only know because of fandom osmosis so sadly I'm not a lore authority LMAO
Tumblr resized the image and made it unreadable, so have a LINK instead. Image made from composited screen caps from Xiaolinpedia.
