Bestie's Brother.

Ayaka loves to tease you about dating Ayato. You met her first and the two of you became close extremely quickly. Thoma was pretty much used to having you around the house as was Ayato. Though, he was extremely busy, so you didn’t see much of him.

You asked Ayaka since you wanted to learn a little bit about Ayato. She told you everything she knew, not suspecting anything. Little did she know, you had a huge crush on Ayato. You didn’t want to tell her because how weird would that have been?

Well, somehow, Ayato managed to find time for you (since he had a crush on you too). Slowly, the time spent together became more. You two ended up becoming more.

It originally started out as a secret because you didn't have the heart to admit to Ayaka you were dating her brother.

You were nervous that Ayaka would hate you for it but it was quite the opposite. She was happy for two reasons. She trusted the person her brother was dating and she trusted the person her best friend was dating. It worked out well.

Ayaka takes any chance she can to tease you or Ayato. Ayato just gets flustered and tells her to mind her own business as he drags you off to who knows where.

She’s sharp. Watch out for her ^w^.

Ayaka knew you were single, you didn’t exactly try to hide it- you weren’t embarrassed or ashamed. She’s not one to pry into your business but over the course of the few years you two have known each other, she sort of figured out you were the perfect person for her brother.

He needs a partner. You need a partner. Perfect, right? Was that her only requirement? Yeah, kinda.

Anyway, so Ayaka decided to set up a little date between you and Ayato. She claimed that she wanted to have dinner with you at Komore Teahouse and you agreed. She told Ayato she wanted to have dinner with him to celebrate a recent achievement. Both of you were so naive.

Once you both were there, Thoma came to inform you that Ayaka had gotten busy and wouldn’t be showing up. You two genuinely thought she was busy so you just spent the dinner with each other. Of course, Ayaka wasn’t busy, in fact, she was in the room beside yours and she was definitely listening in to your conversation.

Ayaka wasn’t done, though, no she set up multiple dates like this and 9/10 she flaked, claiming she was busy. It took a few dates… ok, it took a few dates before you and Ayato realized she wasn’t actually busy.

Eventually, he asked you out on a real date and Ayaka was beyond happy. You, of course, were quite happy too. It was a real date with someone you’d been in love with for a while.

Ayaka takes every chance to tease you and Ayato about your relationship. It’s all in good fun, but she loves to see your face- or his- turn bright red.

ㅤAkumu seemed to react alongside you, bouncing around with a grin. You two were quite literally jumping around at the thought of stealing even more souls!

ㅤAfter all, this is a new world, right? Then that means that there’s so much more monsters and humans here! Your eyes sparkled in pure ecstasy at the grassy landscape before you.

ㅤOh how you can’t wait to destroy everything!

ㅤThe pink gradient in your hair glowed and the statues of you lit up as a sign of your happiness, but neither you or Akumu notice because of joy.

ㅤAs you calm down and think about what you’re about to do, you look around your surroundings and skip towards some sort of nation built with stone walls around.

ㅤAs you arrive, your eyes glitter when you see so many people. ‘This is going to be so fun!’ you though to yourself before you get interrupted by a shout. A shout directed at you.

ㅤYour eyes widen when you hear the people scream profanities at you, rotten fruits being thrown in your direction. You don’t get it, isn’t this a new world? They shouldn’t know you or your past crimes, so why are they insulting you?

ㅤYour hate grows stronger. ‘They all deserve what they’re about to get anyway.’ you growled under your breath, Akumu seeming to be reacting with you as it dodges the moldy apples.

ㅤYou, once again, get interrupted by multiple people – in knight armor – running towards you. Your eyes widen in shock, but Akumu summons a shield for you to protect yourself from their blows just in time.

ㅤThe citizens step back in surprise, how did you do that? That’s not possible! You’re an impostor, you should have no such power!

ㅤBut that doesn’t give them the assumption that you are the Creator. Why? Because the ancient scrolls never mentioned anything about your power or how it works. Nobody has ever seen it.

ㅤAfter all, they were already blinded by their devotion to not recognize you as their one and only Creator, let alone notice that your abilities are far too powerful to be an impostor’s doing.

ㅤYou dodge their weak attacks before they use their vision. ‘What the?! They’re humans, how is that even possible-?!’ you think to yourself as you attack back.

ㅤYou don’t think anymore as you use Akumu as a weapon, your signature scythe. You land a hit on most of them as Jean tries to come up from behind before you knock her back, hitting against a hard wall with a fatal injury on her stomach.

ㅤThey only try harder, you almost killing them with a life threatening injury if they don’t get treated right away. Speaking of, healers surround the injured and unconscious people while you fight those who are still battling.

ㅤ‘This is tedious.’ you thought as you slash the rest of the knights in various areas. Stomach, arm, face, you name it.

ㅤAs you glare at them, they are left terrified and confused when you leave Mondstadt’s gates to head to another nation to give them your best impression of your abilities.

ㅤAfter all, you didn’t want to just steal their souls now. Not yet, as it is too early. Sure, you may or may not have given them hallucinations (that you control), but they should be grateful they even have a soul for now.

Screams “FUCK YES!” When your trailer is revealed, has your OST on blast in his room; despite your banner coming up WHILE he’s working, he will wait until he gets back home to throw all his wishes to you.  Loudest out of everyone when it comes the time to pull on your banner. Everyone will know the moment he gets you. C6 you a week after getting you first, he wanted to ensure he likes your playstyle that people sing praises to. He fucking LOVES IT. Scaramouche also gets surprisingly lucky on his pulls to C6 you, wins his 50/50 almost every single time and gets your designated supports to c6 too. Had a respectable amount of wishes piled up JUST for you. He gets absolutely wrecked when it comes to your weapon tho- so much bloodshed on that banner, gets a couple of weapons to R5 before he gets yours.

His face looked like a sculpture, made from the hands of the finest crafters. You sit across from him staring at his beautiful features, eventually he had to notice, and when he did, he only reacted by tilting his head to the side.

He seemed curious, as he was scanning your face for signs of any sort of emotion. You smiled at him, and simply nodded your head, as you weren’t supposed to make any noise during important meetings.

A few days passed, and you and your mother stayed in inazuma. Your mother always loved spoiling you, and letting you explore all the places you went with her.

Walking around the courtyard of the shogun’s palace you saw a familiar face. He was sitting under a tree gazing at the ocean. You walked over to him and simply asked, “may I sit with you?” He nodded his head in reply, his eyes wide like a doe’s.

“The trees are beautiful here.” You stated, the boy seemed confused but intrigued. “The… trees?” He tilted his head just like last time, “yes. In snezhnaya they’re always covered in snow or have no leaves. It’s nice to see something different.”

“Even in summer?” The boy hesitantly asked, and you chuckled. “Yup!” He seemed to ponder for a moment, before bluntly asking, “will you show me?” This took you back, but nonetheless you nodded your head, agreeing to show him the snow that covered your homeland.

Many years had passed since that day, you saw the boy a few times after that until he just… disappeared. Never seen again. You grew quite close with him, only for him to mysteriously disappear. You promised him you’d show him snow too.

After that, you returned home to snezhnaya, and life proceeded as normal. Until a special ship arrived in the docks. The captain reported to your mother, which was unusual. They usually reported to one of the harbingers, but… this was a special case.

Because, they had found a boy on the islands of inazuma. They brought him in, shivering and yet wrapped in one of the fluffiest blankets you’ve ever seen. His indigo hair was long and messy, just as… that boy, from years ago.

His eyes widened like a doe’s and you knew. “You.” You said, and your mother looked at you with curious eyes. “You know this boy?” You nodded, and swallowed the lump in your throat, “yes he’s the… boy the raiden shogun created.”

“What should we do with him.” The captain said, he warned your mother and you that he was dangerous, and should most likely be dealt with. But, your mother always loved spoiling you, and by your request the captain handed him over to you begrudgingly.

Your smile stretched across your face, as you finally saw the boy you had grown so fond of once again. After getting him into some warmer clothes you asked, “care to see the snow?”

The death of your parents brings new responsibilities to Ayato and Ayaka, who are both preoccupied with running the clan and carrying out various other duties around Inazuma. As young as you are, your older siblings try to ensure that you have some semblance of a childhood before you’re officially given duties of your own to fulfil. Although you have lessons and numerous etiquette classes, you’re given plenty of free time as well. Time you spend flipping through picture books, or playing games with the staff, or simply wandering around the gardens and the nearby forest.

It’s on one of your wanderings that you come across another wanderer called Scaramouche. His fair skin and delicate features enthralls you almost immediately, enough that you find yourself coming back to meet him everyday. Despite the harsh lines on his face and the coolness to his words, you find that he rapidly softens in the face of your gap-toothed smile and rapid chatter. You bring Scaramouche sweets, books, games, and if he’s in a good enough mood, you can even coax him into playing with you for a little while, before he leaves again.

It seems almost natural then, that you should weave a ring of flowers in your childish, fumbling hands and slip it onto his finger with a bright proclamation of, when I’m older, I’ll marry you! Scaramouche turns bright red and sputters incoherently, the most flustered you’ve ever seen him. But you also notice the reverence with which he treats the ring, as though it’s made of precious metal and gems instead of flowers picked from the dirt.

Ayato is relieved when you return home with a spring in your step and a brightness to your smile after one of your numerous outings. He and Ayaka are both busy, and they can’t play with you as much as they used to, and he’s glad that you seem to be in high spirits. His smile dims a little when he finds out the reason for your joy - Older brother, I’m getting married to Scaramouche, and you and older sister are both invited to the wedding!

Ever the protective older brother, Ayato has the Shuumatsuban look into the identity of this ‘Scaramouche’ before he decides on the next course of action. He nearly has a heart attack when he learns that the very person you’ve been demanding to marry is a member of the Fatui.
