I don’t think this is regarded as fact, but it’s a pretty interesting story nonetheless.

The engineer responsible for the construction of Puente de San Martin realized that he had gravely miscalculated the weight that the bridge could bear. After confiding in his wife, she set fire to the beams of the bridge during a heavy thunderstorm, so no one thought too much of it the day after. The engineer was saved from total humiliation and got another chance to build the bridge with the correct calculations. 

Now if that’s not true love, I’m not sure what is.

no motivation for anything today, except that while I was on a run, a toddler went ”FAST!” and their mom ”yes she’s going very fast” and I’ve never had more motivation for anything ever

ever since I moved into my apartment last month, I feel so much more at ease - and don’t get me wrong, some things are still so much troubling but we all know that years of abuse and tears will not heal within a month of pure sanity. Hihi! I took a break from properly posting but I’m back to announce that my language learning has never been more consistent !!! I’ve been relearning Deutsch and 日本語 using textbooks en Français- which helps me to learn all 3 languages at once :’)

Nothing suits fall more than random book stores, favorites coffee shops and sound of the rain.
