I really wanted to watch wendigoons Greylock video, but I then he mentioned turkey Tom, and then I remembered why I hate his fucking guts
If your friends with a secret alt righter and even invited him to your wedding you surely must be one yourself he knows his history and yet he's so close friends which sickens me how many people let that slide AT ALL
btw i was going through the wilbur soot tag to see others responses to…that. but its also a really good block list
Scott Cawthon is like an uncle to me but not a fun one like the one I constantly avoid at family gatherings lest I hear him go on a rant about how everything is woke now
I looked at the comments under the trailer in YT and it's so fucking sus that there's not many outright criticisms of the objectively shit movie. Only one of the other commenters noticed too but they only had like 5-6 likes
saw a bunch of comments on the new minecraft movie trailer about how shit it looks but that they're still going to watch and like why? why watch something you are almost sure that you're going to hate?
like ok its fun to make fun of bad movies but within a week there will be dozens of videos about it to laugh at for free
not all male mcyts but somehow always a male mcyt
God bless Todd Philips for making a movie that takes a gigantic steaming shit on the Joker IP and all the edge lord freaks that identify with it. They wanted a vessel for their revenge fantasies at the expense of Arthur's humanity. He did not give the people what they wanted, he gave them what they fucking deserved, and for that, I respect the fuck out of him!!
ok but please tell me I'm not the only one who wants an actual exploration of Stella's character in the show. yes, I know she's a bad person, yes, I know she abused Stolas, but the way she's portrayed is just a kind of caricature of dumb and abusive, exactly like Valentino, when I feel like she has the potential to be way more interesting. Not, to be clear, as a way of excusing her abuse, but as a way of explaining it. Yes, it's possible that Stella's just a bad person, but there could definitely be more to it. For instance, think about this photo we see of her as a kid:
this is obviously incredibly violent and not ok at all. what I want to point out is how Vivzie chose to show that Stella has always been violent and angry, even as a child. in this picture she's what, eight to thirteen? almost definitely around the adolescent age range. if someone is committing animal abuse when they're a literal child, it almost always indicates that they either have anger issues from some type of mental disorder or they had a very bad childhood and home environment. either of those explanation would be fascinating to explore in the show. Stella having an extreme mental illness and never getting treatment would explain both her violence and her seeming stupidity (I use these terms lightly. Obviously not all neurodivergent people have anger or intelligence issues, I'm just saying it can be a cause of those issues). Likewise, her having a bad childhood would explain her defensiveness, childlike impulse control, and how she lashes out easily. People who were abused or mistreated as children often act less mature as adults because they were never given the chance to be a child, and this would account for much of Stella's personality. It would also be interesting if it turned out her family had groomed/manipulated her in some way, since that would make the way Anderalphus treats her make more sense (seriously, he calls her a "fiery vixen," and says she's attractive, wtf??)
anway...yeah. those are my annoying ramblings. I know Stella is canonically abusive, I'm not saying she isn't, or that there's any excuse for hurting your partner, but I would like to see more of her backstory and her become a nuanced character.
I think one of the biggest problems with the FNaF community right now is that a good amount of the fandom is no longer willing to hold Scott Cawthon accountable.
Like, ever since he announced his supposed retirement, people have been acting like he's a saint who made the perfect game franchise or who has never done shitty things to anyone.
I also think this is a result of this mindset that only good people create good things and that if Scott is a bad person, that also makes FNaF bad.
But regardless, we need to go back to taking Scott back down a peg because he is no longer the humble Christian guy struggling to make ends meet and support his family. He is the creator of arguably the biggest indie franchise in the world. And having that kind of power and influence changes a person. It certainly changed him.
Idgaf about helluva boss BUT I want that evil bird lady carnally
