Do you miss Dethklok? Just want a tiny bit more?

I’m not sure how many people are aware, but I’d thought I’d spread the word anyway-

There were DVD special clips of unscripted Dethklok interviews, some tv extras, other little tidbits and it’s extremely important to me that they are seen and HEARD

First of all, there’s a classic of Dethklok listing bands for over 20 minutes. It’s so dumb but nothing has made me smile so stupidly like this has. They all hype eachother up, Toki goes sicko, it fucking rules.

There’s also Skwisgaar teaching us how to play guitar. If you’re into silly degradation by a bimbo Swedish guitar god, this is probably for you. He also…sells us a guitar?

You obviously got Nathan Explosion reading Shakespeare (not really) and then he does it some more! (Not really)

Dethklok just…watching NASCAR. (Part of the reason why I think Murderface is from the deep south) Maybe that’s not classy enough for you; not enough Zazz? That’s alright, they also visit IKEA!

A memorial for the dead klokateers, very emotional. Also Inside Mordhaus; The Klokateer story, which sorta gives us a small view into the true intensity of the job.

SoundGarden’s ‘black rain’, which pretty heavily includes Dethklok in the music video. It’s actually a very cool reference.

I love that Cedric's arc was nice and gradual! I love that it was messy and that he seemed to keep 'resetting' in so many episodes after every bit of progress he previously made/the closer he got to Sofia.

Progress (including moral progress) is rarely linear. It's messy and chaotic- because that's what trauma does to a person, and that's all the more reason every single bit of progress Cedric went through during the series felt earned! His 'resetting' never quite felt like it was undermining his gradual character development, because of how realistic his journey was and how complex of a character Cedric was (again, especially when you take into account how much his trauma affected him... and I do NOT mean to excuse his actions, mind you).

And for a Disney Junior show, I think their handling of Cedric was all the more impressive!

I'm going to eat concrete thinking about the concept of Bill being kinda obsessed with Ford post-betrayal. Like Bill was very gleefully mocking Ford when he found out the truth and he probably thought it was hilarious that Ford went as far as to not question him and straight up worshipping him but then you get hints that Bill started to actually think Ford would continue to help him and maybe even that Bill saw himself in him. And like I DO think Bill might've considered Ford his closest friend by the time Weirdmageddon happened. Like this guy's relationships are shallow. He bosses his friends around and considering he can't even be honest to himself about his own feelings, I doubt he has any deeper conversations with anyone. But he shows to be willing to actually open up towards Ford. And he wants him to be on his side so bad. He asks Ford to join him three times. But not only do these two have an absolutely loaded past, but even Bill's affection towards Ford is... kinda shallow. Like it's still based on a ton of projection. The only way Bill can ever see Ford around him on the same side is if he accepts Weirdmageddon. And once Ford rejects that and diverges from Bill's wishful thinking, he's back to being Bill's punching bag. yknow

Inktober Day 15: Legend

Common, what did you expect me to draw? Legend?? Of COURSE it would be Stanley Pines.( ^∀^) It didn’t turn out as grand as I had hoped, it doesn’t look nearly as cool as it did in the show.. But I’m happy with it. Its Stan! How can I not be happy with it?? (♡´౪`♡)
