These are extremely cool, and they're all Obi-Wan having terrible days.
You can follow the artist on Instagram.
and then he goes to tatooine and has a cute dinner date with CODY AND EVERYTHING IS FINE
May the Force be with you, always.
so a few days ago I saw this post, and the accompanying tags from @brrmian :
the idea of Cody being simultaneously so cool on the surface and constantly overanalysing every interaction stuck with me so much that I ended up spitting all my thoughts into existence
so
enjoy a brief look into Commander Cody's mind:

the Writer Mood™ when you've got the shadow of a concept of a scene and a couple lines of dialogue bouncing around in your head like a screensaver and you have to be like buddy, come back when you're something coherent. i can't do anything with this.

Yeah okay, obviously co-signing on the codywan, but this also implies that Plo Koon and Artoo are fucking. Which. Happy for them I guess? I'm naming the ship Clangwoo! from the sounds of Plo's mask smacking Artoo's dome and the resulting WOOO!
They put all the couples together y’all
Codywan confirmed thank you Lucasfilm animation
Obi-Wan: is this really the most effective seating arrangement?
Cody: just drive, Jedi boy
Obi-Wan: Jedi boy?!?
Cody: Sorry. Jedi boy, sir
Obi-wan: …
one star war viewing experience that i think has been totally 100% lost to time / cultural dominance: obi-wan being a mysterious and lowkey dubious figure in a new hope. he’s introduced doing this absolutely terrifying screech (which he never does again? before or since?), in a cloak with his face covered (classic villain coding, also very close to the emperor’s exact look) and this comes after a build up of him being some “old wizard” luke is told is dead, that he shouldn’t be going to see at all—and his dialogue only raises more questions than answers. a big part of it is alec guinness’ expert ptsd performance, of course, but there’s such a real strangeness to obi-wan’s debut. he’s a mentor, but he’s also a hardened warrior, also a deliverer of some incredibly ominous lines, also a disembodied voice, an undead, unkillable entity. i don’t think it was some accident that the “fake twist” used to hide the real twist in empire was that obi-wan killed luke’s father, is all i’m saying really. i think there’s an undercurrent in anh that, as the jedi/obi-wan/star war grew in popular culture and the light side/dark side lore got more ironed out, isn’t really accessible now. but it’s fun
SO MANY and they make me weep ;o; they're mean actually i should delete this
