Alright so I think if I remember correctly I posted about them on my old account (which i abandoned for this 🫣) buuuuuut

Introducing 🥁

Odaremi!! Or just Remi for short.

I actually started making them 5.5.2024. The first picture I had of them and the last are completely different so I took from a few points down the middle. Not quite otter, not quite lemur, and not quite earthling. Just, Remi. There is more exploration I’m going to do because I just had so many ideas but this is the start of me bringing this character back, hopefully for a webcomic. I loved them so much and it’d be exciting to share some of the ideas I had for them!! There were… so so so many.

Also sorry if my alt text is weird, I’m still working on describing on my works this is all very new to me.

I’ve been posting more on my bluesky but here’s today’s sketches as I test the brush engines between Krita and the free version of Fire Alpaca. Krita’s brush engine is my favorite between the two and a close second to Clip Studio’s.

Every so often I get a step closer to my art looking so very Sonic. This time is no exception 😔. THEY ARENT A SONIC OC sobs /silly

A little thing I’m making for my oc Talil Mossgrove’s story. Them and their lion maned clown friend and his poppet body. He is the sun and they are the moon. Together they make up integral parts of the sky. Astronomical, wonderful events are destined for them.

Or not, I can do whatever I want I’m a god to them.

That’s really all I have to say right now but this is most likely the start of me being really silly here.

The house may be burning

There is no but coming. The house is burning and I’m excited for black history month. I’m excited to hear about other different black creatives and their work everywhere and I’m excited to hold my own as the house burns. I’m excited to see other black creators celebrate themselves and our community in spite of everything. I’m excited to learn and hear more than what I’ve gotten to before. I’m excited to see my community thrive for even just a moment. And I’m excited to see the house burn.

Celebrate blackness every day. And in spite of a regime that wants to destroy you, celebrate blackness even more starting the rest of this week and even more over the next month.
