Hey I did the thing! How many of these have you read? (making this list took way longer than I thought it would and I kept myself strictly to fiction..... I am considering doing a second list of nonfiction lol.)
Ramble about ones you've read in the notes, I'd love to know! đ

Sam: I have a feeling they might be a part of the big three. Bucky: What big three? Sam: Androids, aliens, and wizards. Bucky: That's not a thing. Sam: That's definitely a thing. Bucky: No, it's not. Sam: Every time we fight, we fight one of the three. Bucky: So who are you fighting now, Gandalf? Sam: Ev- How do you know about Gandalf? Bucky: I read The Hobbit. In 1937. When it first came out.
I think I love âO Come O Come Emmanuelâ because itâs precisely the right amount of yearning and hope. I tend to view it in one of two ways:
-Someone crying out to God for deliverance in the verses, and God reassuring them that their Deliverer is coming in the chorus
-Someone alternating between yearning to see salvation and Godâs glory, and rejoicing that they even have this hope that these things will come.
Oh my god oh my god Faramir put Ăowyn in (okay something closely resembling) the HOLY ROMAN EMPERORâS CELESTIAL MANTLE.
*itâs not clear when you first look, but itâs showing stars in the celestial sphere. I swear.

Shut up Iâm having a fan moment. Clenching my fists. I love the stupid star mantle. This mantle is a celebrity to me.
idc if you reblog this from me but reblog it every time you see one of your friends or mutuals have reblogged it
Elizabeth Bennet: the first impression I had of Mr Darcy prevented me from realising how wrong I was about him for so long! Hah, I thought myself clever, but I am just another fool!
Anne Shirley: how long is âso longâ, exactly?
Elizabeth Bennet: months!
Anne Shirley, who spent years holding a grudge before realising how wrong she was about Gilbert: nah, I think you are good!
Erestor: do we know anything about Legolas's mom?
Lindir: we donât even know if she existed. For all we know Legolas just spawned fully formed out of a tree and Thranduil called dibs.
If you get a comment that says AO3 is "deleting works to conserve server space", that is a Spam Bot. There is no such thing as "deprecated fandom content", nor is there any limit on the number of works that can be posted to a fandom tag (regardless of how "popular" it is). AO3 has not changed its content policies. We are committed to upholding our founding principle of maximum inclusiveness of fanwork content, and will only remove content that violates the AO3 Terms of Service. While non-fanworks are not allowed on AO3, we consider both original works and real-person fiction to be fanworks. Please don't listen to anyone telling you otherwise.
Unlike the previous round of art spam, so far these comments have all been from guests, so our advice for handling them is different! We're working on filtering these comments out, and flagging them as spam is how you can help. Read more below the cut!
To help train our automated spam-checker to block similar guest comments in the future:
If the comment is on your own work:Â
Note: The "Spam" button only appears when viewing a guest comment directly on your work. This is because the AO3 comment inbox is merely a copy of the work's comments â deleting a comment from your AO3 inbox does not delete the comment from the work itself.
Go directly to the comment on your work, either by clicking on the link in your email or in your AO3 inbox.
Click on the "Spam" button to mark the guest comment as spam and remove it from your work.Â
That's it! You don't have to do anything else.
If you see comments like these on someone else's work:Â
Feel free to let the creator know the comment is from a bot and that they should mark it as spam.Â
You can also report the comments as botspam via the Policy Questions & Abuse Reports form linked at the bottom of every page on AO3.Â
If you are reporting multiple guest comments, please submit only one report and include all comment links in your report description. (You can get the direct link to any comment by clicking the "Thread" button on the comment, and then copying the URL of that page.)
AO3's Policy & Abuse committee (PAC) does not pre-screen content on AO3; they only investigate if they receive a report. All reports are reviewed by PAC volunteers, who are real human beings. You don't need to worry that your or anyone else's fanworks will be taken down due to a baseless report or a mass-reporting campaign.Â
If PAC were to determine that you had violated the TOS, you would receive a notification of the violation via the email address associated with your AO3 accountânot via comments, social media, or any other method.Â

"If you use em dash in your works, it makes them look AI generated. No real human uses em dash."
Imaging thinking actual human writers are Not Real because they use... professional writing in their works.
Imagine thinking millions of people who have been using em dash way before AI becomes a thing are all robots.
