Plutonium ☢️

Plutonium’s are intimidating and dangerous gems. They work as nuclear weapon scientists and develop and power weapons of mass destruction. These weapons were created to destroy any colonies that rebelled or just to destroy any life forms quickly.

They are High ranking scientist gem and are highly respected. Other gems usually fear them.

They can be cold and unemotional, often leading solely with logic and reason. They aren’t there to listen only to get the job done. They are told to wear their helmet in order for their radioactivity not to spread, this causes them to be out of touch with other gems and difficult to form interpersonal relationships with others.

Their horns come in different patterns!

I've been rewatching Steven Universe and I turned one of my OCs into a gem.

This is Bloodstone. Her weapon is a chisel, and her purpose is to shatter other gems. An assassin for the Diamonds. She's very cold, but she does have a softer side, too.....

I hope you dont mind I went more experimental with the shading, Ive never shaded like this before and I was really inspired by how you shade so I tried it

The shading I did was new and what not but I think I like flat colours better because I'm not experienced with rendering yet 😅

As for the line art, it is completely my style, really polished and heavy with the line weight, so I thought it'd be nice to display what I usually draw when making "polished" art

I was going to draw her in my sketchy style but then I looked at my references for her and realized the lines were pretty nice and neat so I switched it up :3

And like for the shading I tried mixing airbrush shading and no blend shading together and I think I did ok

This was also a good practice for upcoming art fight!! But this took like 6 hours, damn, way longer than my usual 40 minutes, but makes sense, I had to get the design down and then colour accordingly 😩😩 so fun tho I'd do it all over again (and will for art fight)

Oooooo, Garnet, unintentionally comparing a garnet to a pearl, not a good idea. If only that era 2 defectiveness went to your form instead of your gem! So tragic

It's about time my main toyhouse ocs get new profile pictures. Their names in order are Golden Beryl (Heliodor), Onyx, and Star Sapphire. I'll talk about these fellas more in the future. For now, simply enjoy the art
