Aerys II is King.

Rhaegar is his heir.

Aegon and Rhaenys are Rhaegar’s heirs.

Rhaegar dies.

Aerys II names Viserys his heir, cutting Rhaegar’s children out of the line of succession.

Daenerys is Viserys’ heir until he has children of his own.

Viserys dies.

Daenerys is the heir to the Iron Throne and Rightful Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.

Jon is not.

Jon also has pledged to Daenerys anyway, giving up his crown.

Daenerys is still the Rightful Queen.

Period. End.
