I have so many aftg wips that will never be done, here's one
@bee-doodle just perfectly explained the aftg fandom (also, their art is very cool and cute and you should check it out)
Yes!!! Nico is literally like ten years old
Do you ever just look through some people’s Pjo dreamcast and think wtf??
What’s the deal with so many m x m fics being so misogynistic? Any time any of those gay male characters call a female character a bitch it just makes me feel so icky. It just adds to the normalization of men regarding any woman they don’t agree with as a “bitch” and gives the excuse that the only misogynistic people have to be men attracted to women. Definitely has something to do with internalized misogyny and the societal feminization of gay men but I’m too tired to think about it rn
😳
aftg is so funny because u can’t even say ‘they should’ve been at the club.’ they literally were .
My favorite thing about the ofmd fandom is that there is just a universal agreement that Lucius is living in the walls
So I decided to read Book of Bill and managed to finish right before the countdown ended
they got paramore 😔
Setting my alarm for 6:30 am at midnight feels like sharpening the axe for my own execution
My favorite thing about this new PJO trailer has to be the shots of the collective campers. I think one of the biggest problems with the movies casting older actors, is that it was harder to understand the actual moral conflict. You watch the movie and think, “oh these guys are like 20, they can battle it out” and it’s just another run of the mill “I’m mad at my dad” villain. When casting younger actors throughout, it hits so much harder that the people that these immortal gods have chosen to fight their battles, to die for them, are children. In the first shot of Clarisse, there’s kids with their first-day-of-middle-school new glasses frames. Kids in the trees crouching in their matching t shirts. And a child holding a battle axe. The appropriate aging is gonna make the whole series a lot more disturbing at times and one of the main villains a lot more compelling
