I blame my obsession of men with long hair on Lord of the Rings; I don’t think that needs elaborating.

Tom Bombadil, and water lilies in the Old Forest…I drew this one last summer  (with no-good old watercolors on pretty bad paper, since I was camping in the middle of forest myself  :P )

In King Ludwig II’s defense, if I had basically infinite discretionary funds, was accountable to absolutely no one, and was king of a country full of picturesque landscapes, you couldn’t stop me from building myself a big gay fairytale castle on a mountaintop either.

On that note, I'm delighting myself translating the word "friend" in Tolkien as bestie. Lots of fun sentences but none beats the alliteration of "Beren became the bestie of birds and beasts"

I just spend 45 minutes on Microsoft Excel charting and colour coordinating Elrond’s family line. All this was to mathematically prove that he is not halfelven. Elrond is, in fact, 56.25% Elven. Here is my chart.
