the dubious philosophy of salmon
i miss writing poetry.
i haven’t done it in a while.
i fear that I have forgot how.
i can still pick up pens, put lines together in cacophonous rage, and hate every moment.
the words no longer come to me in dreams,
or spill from my lips like a cracked music box.
i fear that i have become like a bird, accustomed to the silence of a cage, and lost the memory of song.
i can no longer write of fear in any form the assuages it. it swallows me whole, and i think
‘no art is free of suffering‘
i’m at a point in my life where i can’t watch/read/see anything without wanting a j2 au of it
I’m traveling to China to buy Jensen’s magazine bye
Le Gouffre, 2014 Directed by Carl Beauchemin, Thomas Chrétien, and David Forest
Le Gouffre is the first collaboration of three passionate 3D artists : David Forest, Carl Beauchemin and Thomas Chrétien. Uniting under the name Lightning Boy Studio, they spent more than two full years creating the ten-minute film, living on their own savings, and for the most part without external funding. The trio, having met in animation school, wished to prove their skills and attract the attention of major players of the movie industry.
The film tells the story of two spirited travelers who come across an incredibly wide chasm on their journey and decide to build a bridge to cross it. The movie’s style showcases an innovative aesthetic, at the crossroads of realism and painting.

[AGGRESSIVELY HUGS SAM WINCHESTER AND NEVER LETS HIM GO]
There are two boys
and they are heroes.
Their capes torn and covered in ash,
but you would never lend them a second glance in the laundromat.
Weighed down by guilt, neither can fly,
but they have each other and a car,
so maybe they're not so different from us.
They wake every morning and face the dark
so that everyone else can breathe a little lighter.
There's only two of them in the world, so they don't wear costumes,
but that doesn't mean they don't have masks.
One day they'll go out with the force of a supernova,
guns blazing and hands intertwined,
together or not at all,
but their bodies will be lost in the carnage of their absence.
Neither believes themselves as heroes;
warriors, soldiers, pawns,
but never pure-hearted heroes,
because their past is bloody
and their eyes are black.
