im fine with v2s death in the story but on a personal level i wish that Thing was still alive
(i play btd6 for lore.)

thank you guy so much for enjoying dead plate 🐶🍔💞
just killing time w the doppelgangers
the way asuka was written is so odd to me because since most of the time in lore he’s depicted somewhat sympathetically. not in the missing link but his later appearances in x2 and side black drama cd make it clear that the crusades and/or the destruction of humanity was never his goal. he’s even horrified of i-no’s apathy. he’s been established as a misunderstood mad scientist who slammed into the stem to military industrial complex pipeline. academia amirite. but at same time the way they try to make him more sympathetic in xrd just frustrates me. putting sol and aria under without their informed consent seems a little contrived. and trying to almost completely absolve him of blame in strive by having a “that man” 2: electric boogaloo is even more contrived. and also really fucked up. i love happy chaos as a character but it’s unfortunate that his existence can be chalked up as a way to absolve asuka. at least for now. strive’s story is still ongoing.
i dunno i think that man as gung-ho scientist too preoccupied on whether or not he could, he couldn’t stop and think if he should seems better as a concept but gets all muddied once we get in the nitty gritty details

Praying? Now? Are you serious? Get over yourself.
I like how, matter how you slice it, the Scrybes are all inarguably and blindly self centered in one way or another.
Leshy sees Act 1 as the ideal state of things. The other Scrybe’s perspectives are… not so much treated as irrelevant, simply wrong. The most remorse he expressed was a sadness that they didn’t share his perspective on the honor of being beasts.
Grimora wants to delete the game, and regardless of the release it would grant them all, similarly to Leshy’s ideal state of things, nobody but her wants it to happen.
P03’s entire plan is to get Inscryption online, regardless of how many people get hurt by widespread release of the Old Data. He literally overheard its true nature from the Bone Lord and goes through with it anyways.
Magnificus.
