Cosmos Monkeys AU (if the name is already used then I'm sorry I don't remember if anyone else used this)

I saw some Aus , about Macaque and Wukong being the phisical and literal representation of the Sun and the Moon as celestial bodies made monkeys living in the cosmos or space kingdom (or gods that control the sun and moon)

And it gave me an idea for a story

Macaque and Wukong are monkeys born from the cosmos

Wukong from a supernova and Macaque from a dying star on the verge of becoming a blackhole

Macaque and Wukong were the only monkeys living in space and therefore became childhood friends , over the years they became more powerful and more intimate with each other

Heaven feared them so they killed them but the two reincarnated as Wukong and Macaque in the mortal realm

Heaven eventually noticed this fact when Wukong started messing with them so they tried to eliminate them again but it only resulted in kinda leashing Wukong and losing sight of Macaque , but seeing as the two monkeys fought , Heaven wasn't worried about their closeness giving them more strenght and could kill Macaque without Wukong even noticing , even making Macaque think it was Wukong's fault in case he somehow escaped the underworld

Macaque got the memories of his previous life in the underworld because of the circle of reincarnation or lady bone demon gave them to him and became even more resentful to Wukong about their broken relationship because it could have been as close as the one in their past life but he ruined that chance

Then Lbd revived him and the event of the lmk serie goes on kinda like normal plus a shadowpeach reconciliation to friends (later more)

In Shadow's play when Macaque says the Hero and the Warrior are like the sun and moon it has more meaning then MK could immagine

Then there is the fact that while Macaque remembers their past life , Wukong still doesn't , so when Macaque gets hit by nostalgia or does an habit or an action he used to do from his past life Wukong is oblivious , clueless or find the new habits strange and Macaque has to live with the fact that his past life lover doesn't remember him and is probably no more because now there is only Sun Wukong

I don't know if the ending should be Macaque learning to live with there only being Wukong and learn to love him as well

or

Wukong discovering about Macaque's memories and trying to get his past life memories as well with two different versions were in one he succeeds and the other fails and Macaque accepts him as he is even without memories

Macaque and Wukong designs for the Shadow's Realm AU

Today I suddenly had the inspiration for the final designs for Macaque and Wukong of my Shadow's Realm AU and I'm glad because I really like them

For Macaque , other than the fact I like immagining him as a colourful pretty boy , it would make sense for him to have colourful clothes and long bright fur because of his origins as it's explained on the world's Au concept , and I like to think of him as younger and shorter than Wukong in the AU

Younger because , in the AU , Wukong was born first and shorter because Macaque had to steal to eat so he didn't have enough food to grow properly most of the time

For Wukong he may look chill but after Macaque's death he became an alcoholic and couldn't stay a day without drowing his sorrows away when nobody was looking , that's way I imagine him always with a bottle of alcol with him

Unfinished drawing practise , I'm trying to figure out how other artist shade so well and I'm failing , can someone give me advice?

MK: Monkey King!!!

Wukong:*startles* uh-wha Ah Hi buddy what do you need?

MK:*sweats* (How do I tell him!?)

MK: uh- so Erlang Shen , Guanyin and Macaque are together in a room

Wukong:*raises brow* is this a joke bud?

MK:...no? no it's not

Wukong:*already speeding through the horizont*

Wukong:*bursts door open* NOBODY KILLS ANYBODY-*trails off seeing the scene in front of him*

Erlang , Guanyin and Macaque:*laughing and playing poker like centuries old friends*

Wukong:*blinks* is this...a nightmare? am I hallucinating?

Macaque Monkey AU

In this Au Macaque "looks" like a normal non-demon/spirit monkey

Before Macaque and Wukong met , Macaque lived quietly by himself in the jungles but after Wukong started causing problems the demons and celestial alike came to challenge Wukong , Macaque life wasn't so quiet anymore and the worse part was that demons/celestial that knew him for his abilities asked for his help too many times and the ones that didn't know him mistook him for Wukong and attacked him

So to avoid this problem Macaque shapeshifted into a normal macaque monkey and hid his ears behind glamours , only Buddha would know he was in reality a celestial primate

Macaque thought that with this he could return to his quiet life but he didn't account for a Monkey king with a new acquired staff to spot him in their way back to their kingdom and catch interest in them and manhandle him to take him to said kingdom

Despite Macaque looking like a normal monkey and Wukong being none the wiser of his disguise , the monkey king was absolutely in love (at first not romantically but will be later on) with him

Wukong named him and took him everywhere , Macaque is the favorite of the king and soon everyone knew about it , Wukong even erased Macaque's name from the book of death , and fed some immortality peaches , immortal wine and pills of immortality to an oblivious Macaque so they could stay together forever

Macaque at first was annoyed at being kidnapped but later found he quite enjoyed being pampered by the king and pranking/leaving shocked others by doing things normal monkeys couldn't do with his powers (Wukong would get stunned and fall unknowingly deeper in love every time)

Wukong will think Macaque is a normal monkey for a long time (I still don't know when he should find out Macaque is like him but it will happen eventually)

Punctuating Dialogue

Wukong:*questioning/yelling about what Macaque is planning and that he doesn't believe he isn't plotting something against him*

Macaque:*tired of Wukong's bullshit* "Listen here you egotistical prick it may shock you but my life doesn't revole around you

You're not worth it , you aren't special , I have other people I hate , do you see me actively trying to kill every person I hate? No? That's because I have better things to do with my life

And honestly I don't want to spend the rest of my life trying to kill you , which is almost impossible , when I could use the time and efforts for something more useful

Do I still hate you? Yes

Do I want you dead? Yes

Will I ever try? No , you're not worth the effort and I honestly don't care about any interaction with you ever because while I hate you I prefer to ignore your existence so I save my sanity against your idiocy

Now if you will excuse me I was literally just trying to get my coffee before you interrupted me with your nonsense"

Wukong:*processing**realizing**Offended gasp**starts fistfight*

Macaque:*drops coffee*"Oh for fuck's sake"*punches Wukong in retaliation*

Another new idea for a Lmk Au (again) but this time I named it Twin shadows AU (if the name is already used I accept suggestions)

Rumble and Savage are usually depicted as Macaque shadow's clones that gained santience or his magically born kids

But what if they were Macaque himself?

After feeling so lonely for a long time Macaque decided to divide himself in two to have company resulting in Rumble and Savage

Rumble and Savage are Mac's soul , personality and body split in two to make their own person

They consider themselves brothers and are inseparable , if they get separated without reason or long period of times there are a few reactions they can have depending on the reason and if they can't go to the other yet

Restlessness / uneasiness

Panic/anxiety/separation anxiety's attack

Rage/bloodlust

Depending on the situation , the amount of time they were apart , the reason of the separation (or lack of , ex: separation by kidnapping) , and if one or both of them are in danger

The brother have different reactions and how they handle them but are both equally as bad

MK basically adopted them , he always felt bad about Macaque loneliness and now he can make up to it by being a supporting dad

Both Rumble and Savage are little shits to Wukong , it's worse when he's forced to babysit them sometimes

So... I had a new idea for an lmk Au (I didn't think of a name) , or more like an idea for a variant of Macaque. Seeing as some of the fandom likes for Macaque to be a celestial primate with/or with six ears and super hearing , and seeing as in the serie we barely know anything to confirm or deny theories , I thought "What if he was just normal/average? Well as normal as a normal demon/spirit monkey can be"

Not a celestial primate

No six ears and super hearing

No being more powerful than anyone except the monkey king

Just a regular Macaque monkey demon/spirit and not someone powerful (not until later , after meeting Wukong , and even then he's not more strong than everyone else , just most average demons)

I know that's it's kinda underwelming with all the other Aus making Macaque someone cool and powerful , and that the closest to something like this are the human Aus but I think it's not to understimate the funny mental image of a completely capable to die Macaque being done with everyone's bullshit and almost dying because of it and only somehow surviving by pure spite and luck

If someone already has this kind of Au then I'm sorry I didn't mean to copy or steal your idea
