What happened to the gay footballers that were supposed to come out? Did they decide against it last minute? Or was it never actually going to happen? I heard it was supposed to be Bundesliga players mainly, so I’m a fair bit surprised by it not happening, since it would most likely be the best environment for an openly LGBTQ+ player.
