you’re running, running as if your life depends on it. it really does as you glance at them over your shoulder, their red eyes chasing you, their sickening laughs haunting you and sending chills throughout your entire body.

a scream leaves your mouth as you stumble upon something, taking you to the ground. you whimper as you do your best to crawl away, the pain in your body unbearable. you feel something grab your ankle, a hand with abnormally long fingers circling around you and pulling you back quickly-

a gasp leaves your lips as you sit up abruptly, your chest heaving as you breathe heavily. you glance around the dark room, calming down immediately as you find yourself in your boyfriend’s bedroom.

“baby, what’s going on?” jimin asks from beside you, his voice groggy and hoarse as he reaches for you. you jump lightly at his touch against your naked back, still slightly traumatized by your terrifying dream.

jimin notices how you’re slightly on edge, slightly shaking against the palm of his hand. he sits up beside you, kissing your shoulder softly as he waits for you to be completely calm.

“i’m sorry, i woke you up,” you apologize, your voice barely above a whisper. he smiles against your shoulder, his palm moving up and down your arm as to comfort you, calm you down.

what you don’t know is that jimin has been awake since you starting mumbling in your sleep, the whimper of your voice worrying him. so as the caring person that he is, he stayed awake, unable to fall asleep as long as you were knitting your eyebrows together, whimpering as if you were terrified of whatever you were dreaming about.

“it’s okay,” he assures you, “i couldn’t sleep anyway.”

you look at him, your eyes meeting him. you find comfort in them, his soft, warm eyes giving you the safety and assurance you need after having such a terrifying dream.

“bad dream?” you nod as he reaches up, tugging a strand of hair behind your ear. a smile tugs at the corner of your lips when he leans forward, pressing his lips to your cheek. you let him pull you into his arms, laying down with him. he pulls the covers around the both of you, hugging you closer to his chest.

“go back to sleep,” he whispers, kissing your forehead. “i’ll be right here to protect you.”

you huff out in amusement, loving how he hugs you close against his chest, his fingertips tickling up and down your spine. you bury your face in the nape of his neck, kissing the skin there softly.

“thank you,” you whisper against his skin, a deeper meaning behind it, which only he knows about. that alone makes you squeeze him tighter, smiling as you fall back to sleep without nightmares this time.

Colours.

Jimin is good with them. Not like a painter, no. He’s more like a canvas for you—a canvas you know which colour to use and which colour to not. But regarding the latter, however, it’s hard to find a colour he’d not fit into; a colour his gaze would fail to glimmer in. He has every colour in him; deep in the star-forged depths of his brown eyes and every single flicker of his sparkling touch.

Even so, of all the colours, you know which one he prefers the most: pastel pink; the colour your cheeks blush in when he steals midnight kisses from your lips and when his skin makes flimsy promises on your own. By the day, he’s your canvas but once beneath the plush silk of his sheets, the roles change.

“You are doing it again.”

Jimin’s voice is carefully low, meant to be heard only by you, lips barely moving. And it works.

The bothered skin pulls out from beneath your teeth. You stop nibbling on your bottom lip; the reddened flesh swollen due the constant assault of your teeth.

“Sorry.”

Your fingertips brush his honey blonde tresses into place, but they fall in a wilful vigour over his forehead, yet again; continuing to hover over his eyes, just as stubborn as the boy himself. Satisfied as it is, you reach out for the powder brush.

“Why are you sorry for? It’s only making a little hard for me not to stare at them.”

The beauty brush almost slips from your grasp.

“Jimin!” You whisper shout.

The boy giggles, his rose blushed puffy cheeks bunching beneath his eyes, which have almost sunk into half moons, barely visible. But you know they glimmer. Your heart swells.

Let’s get one thing straightened out; rich people love to do rich people shit. Whether it be deep-throating oysters in the coastal towns of France, raiding designer stores, or pretending to relate to the lower class, they do it and they do it often.

Jeon Jungkook is guilty of most of the above. At 25 years of age, he lives in a multi million-dollar house situated in the privacy and luxury of the Hills. His neighbors live just as lavishly; some actors, some dentists, and some wealthy by marriage. Their problems seem bizarre to the average person, but respectfully, problems are problems. If you’re feeling off about something — even if you’re standing in your ten-acre garden and can’t seem to decide where to build your own personal water park — you still have a problem.

Jungkook has a problem of his own, but we’ll get to that in a moment.

How the fuck did he get so rich and where do I sign up? You might be thinking to yourself. He writes about the intimate and explicit details of sex. Each of his novels revolve around a successful individual dealing with life’s obstacles and ultimately leaving their imprint on the world. The sex scenes are a by-product of the power play. There’s a lot of power in sex, there’s a lot of love in his heart for life and its obstacles, and there’s a lot of money in publishing well-written (debatable), fantasy-driven erotica novels. 

To say he was born with a silver spoon sticking out of both of his ears would be a bit of an overstatement, but not too far from the truth. His parents are the masterminds behind a multi billion-dollar tech company that develops security software. From day one, they drove the tech-fantasy into their sons head, and even though they persuaded him to graduate college with a Bachelor of Advanced Computer Science, things took a different turn once he stepped foot into the real world; he grew a little too cocky with his qualifications, social status, and good looks, and so spent his time entertaining a rowdy bunch of people, partying, having insane amounts of sex, drinking whatever was handed to him, snorting blow off bars, and everything else the champagne life entails.

And then, like most young people, he was inspired by a short-lived summer romance. She was an aspiring solicitor, beautiful, confident, and determined, but her determination made her use people like dental floss. She bat her eyelashes a thousand times, said anything to grow her network, and lied like it was a 9-5 job. But, as much as it hurt him, he never grew to hate her. There was something about her — maybe it was the way she could tame every doubt in his mind, or the way she built herself from the ground up — that made it clear that she knew the world was hers. She was the inspiration behind his first novel. Similar to how musicians write an array of emotional lyrics and dedicate music videos to ex-lovers, he too found a way to tell stories. He sees the good and the fun in others or he doesn’t see at all.

He knew many fine publishers through his parents, so it wasn’t long before he was an official published author with a new network of literate friends. His novel was a quick success thanks to his advertising team. They worked their ass to the bone to gain a cult following for him. Posters were on bus-stops, library walls, retirement home notice boards, and even on the ‘Do Not Feed the Ducks’ signs at parks. If the ducks and the elderly weren’t already into sexy, but also kind of odd novels, they sure as hell are now.

He was crowned the king of erotica just a week after his first publication.
