Please note before reading this that I have not finished v3 yet
This analysis is about Tsumugi so if she is a discomfort for you please be aware of that! This analysis contains Killing Harmony spoilers as well. I’ll be analyzing? Comparing? Her to the song ‘You’re gonna go far kid’ by The Offspring ^^ With that out of the way, let's move onto the analysis!
I wanna start off by saying I only started to relate this song to Tsumugi because of the first part. I always envisioned this animation to that part with her switching cosplays and so that's where this all stems from! This also only really focuses on Tsumugi as the mastermind, not so much backstory (does she even have a backstory?/gen). The first lines “Show me how to lie, you're getting better all the time, And turning all against the one is an art that's hard to teach. Another clever word sets off an unsuspecting herd, And as you step back into line, a mob jumps to their feet” are what I’m going to start with! The first part (show me how to lie…) is representing how Tsumugi was the mastermind of the Killing game and was lying to everyone, followed by ‘and turning against the one is an art that's hard to teach’ showcases how she had basically turned against everyone and that being the mastermind is something you can’t teach.
The next two lines really solidify this stanza as a representation of Tsumugi as the mastermind for me. “Another clever word sets off an unsuspecting herd,” is Tsumugi throwing everyone off of her trail or for an in-game example, Its Tsumugi framing Kaede as Rantaro's killer. “As you step back into line, a mob jumps to their feet” is Tsumugi pretending to be another person trapped in the killing game!
Taking lines from the second stanza, “and no one even knew it was really only you” to me is the line that symbolizes the fact that no one knows Tsumugi is the mastermind, that she is the one behind everything and is only pretending to be a victim of the killing game. The final line of the pre-chorus represents Tsumugi right before she became the mastermind, “nice work you did, you’re gonna go far kid”. The ‘nice work you did’ section of the line being a reference to all the work and preparations she had to make for the Killing game and the second line being a reference to how she's going to do as the mastermind and how she’ll live up to Junko's legacy.
The chorus is really what showcases how the song represents Tsumugi as the mastermind though. The starting line of “with a thousand lies and a good disguise” is just begging to be a Tsumugi line, she's the ultimate cosplayer and the mastermind for crying out loud. The “Hit 'em right between the eyes, hit 'em right between the eyes, When you walk away, nothing more to say. See the lightning in your eyes, see 'em running for their lives” is Tsumugi making her big debut in the final trial as the mastermind (I’m not 100% certain about the details of the last trial as I have yet to finish v3 but I have a vague idea of what happens).
Verse 2 is about how as the mastermind the whole killing game is focused on her. “Slowly out of line, and drifting closer in your sight, So play it out, I'm wide-awake, it's a scene about me,” showcasing how she's the star of the killing game as the mastermind and “There's something in your way and now someone is gonna pay, And if you can't get what you want, well, it's all because of me” showcasing how as the mastermind she has the ability to control everything about the killing game.
Finally, ending this analysis with the outro to the song! “Clever alibis, Lord of the Flies, Hit 'em right between the eyes, hit 'em right between the eyes, When you walk away, nothing more to say, See the lightning in your eyes, see 'em running for their lives”, it's a rather weak ending to this analysis but I think this line showcases how as the mastermind Tsumugi's existence in the game is just her falsifying her existence and making up lies about herself.
TLDR: You're gonna go far kid by The Offspring is a great song to represent Tsumugi as the mastermind of the killing game :)
before reading this please note that I haven't finished killing harmony!
Song analysis for Angie Yonaga and the song Blow my brains out by tikkle me! Angie’s character is very complex one, most of the time she gets dulled down to ‘religious girl’ but in reality her whole ‘would you like to join me?’, ‘Atua will help!’ is one of her ways of trying to show others that she cares for them and is attempting to help them. She has difficulty showing that and so she chooses to offer others her religion and share with them the wonderful things about Atua.
If I follow the same formatting as when I did the Nagito analysis, I’ll start with the first few lyrics, or rather the first two stanzas. Both of the first two stanzas consist of things like “Sometimes I wish I could lend you my eyes, Lend you my hips and lend you my thighs Sometimes I wish I could take a new shape Switch out some parts and become a big A“ (A direct quote from the song). These to me show Angie's wish to help people despite being unable to. This also could be a way of showing Angie’s devotion to Atua.
The second stanza is relatively the same. The following lyrics “Lucky is she, who lives unaware Who doesn't get bothered by those who don't care Lucky is she, who lives unaware Who doesn't get bothered by all that's unfair Unlucky me, who knows way too much Who fights to make changes and music and such Unlucky me, aware of the pain All 'cause I happen to have some brain'' show both aspects of Angie.
The first section referring to someone (Angie) as lucky shows how Atua has given her a positive view on life and how she has put complete trust into Atua, the second half referring to her as unlucky however, shows that Atua has also shown her the bad things and that she's seen some bad things. The lyric “Unlucky me, aware of the pain All 'cause I happen to have some brain'' specifically shows that Angie is aware of the bad things because Atua has enlightened her. This could also go back to her wanting to enlighten the others just as Atua did for her.
“Sometimes I hope for a savior to come Who's got what it takes to convince everyone” is one of the lyrics I feel conveys Angie perfectly, the song itself is a great example of her character but that lyric specifically matches extremely well. It shows how Angie just wants others to be aware of how great Atua is and how he can help them; If only Atua could convince the others to follow him they’d all be enlightened.
The next following stanzas are about Lucky and Unlucky (both aspects of Angie) and I think that the Lucky and Unlucky stanzas showcase that Angie is constantly at a battle with herself, she's fully aware that Atua could help others and that everything that is happening in the Killing game is wrong (unlucky) but she doesn’t fear any of it out of trust and faith in Atua (lucky).
TLDR: Blow my brains out by Tikkle me is a great song to represent Angie and how she behaves :)
Yes everyone, you read that right! I'm branching out into my other interests! Keeping this blog as only Bnha would cause me to become uninterested very easily and my hyperfixations fluctuate between bnha and danganronpa a lot so these are the two you'll be seeing the most! With that stated lets get into todays rant!
ps if you follow the account drv3confessions you'll have already seen this rant as I sent it in as a confession!
Herse my in-depth analysis on why Art is Dead by Bo Burnham is the best song to describe Nagito. I’ll start off with the part of the song that goes on about how Bo (from this point on referred to as Nagito) shouldn’t be praised and that he isn’t perfect and should be corrected.
This is a fantastic example of how Nagito constantly degrades himself and talks about how the others should use him and treat him as badly as he talks about himself. Then there's the part right after the section talking about a kid whos loud and outgoing, the ‘I must be psychotic, I must be demented, To think that I'm worthy, Of all this attention…’ part. That is also a very good example of how Nagito thinks and has been told his whole life that he isn’t worth attention (positive or negative).
It also shows that he feels the attention that he does get, he feels is too much and that he doesn’t deserve it. Right near the end of the song there's a section that goes ‘A self-centered artist, Self-obsessed artist’ and I think that also really plays into the whole self degradation thing Nagito has going on. I think that if he ever (he probably has but it was really backhanded, at the time of writing this I’m very tired so there are probably some inconsistencies) made a positive comments about himself he’d follow it up with something like ‘how self-centered of me to think such a thing’.
I also wanna touch back on the ‘I must be psychotic, I must be demented, To think that I'm worthy, Of all this attention’ line. This line to me really sells the whole ‘this song screams Nagito’ thing. Mainly because this is how he thinks, he thinks he doesn’t deserve attention and when he does get it he feels selfish and insane (not the best terminology but I can’t think of another way to word it).
Finally going back to the start of the song where it talks about a kids birthday party. I feel like that represents how Nagito thinks about himself, one of the lines (‘That every day, Can't be about him, There's other people, You selfish ass hole) really describes how Nagito thinks about himself. As a final point I would like to say that he overall tone of the song is very reminiscent of how Nagito speaks and behaves in the game.
TLDR: 'Art is dead' By Bo Burnham is an excellent song to represent Nagito and his character :)
Todays quirk analysis is on Momo!
Analysis following canon starts here <3
Creation is a quirk that allows Momo to materialize/create (as the name implies) different non-living objects as long as she understands the atomic configuration of the object. She creates things by breaking down her body fat at a molecular level, which will then be re-used as material for her to shape into objects with her quirk.
The process that she has to go through to create things are:
-imagining the parts
-imagine the materials
-imagine the assembling process
-finally, imagining the coating
Momo can also change the materials of the objects she makes to give them special properties. She can also only half-way produce something, leaving it to protrude from her body.
Strengths
Momos quirk is very versatile and allows her to both be on the defense and offense. She also has one of the best quirks for working with a team, allowing her to produce things to help her teammates as a whole and individually.
Due to Momos high intelligence and quick thinking she is able to create plans almost any challenge she faces.
Weaknesses
Momo requires time to make things and so if she is continually attacked by her opponent she has no time to think and go on the offense.
What Momo makes depends on both the complexity and size of the object as well as the amount of fat lipids in her body. The more complex of an object, the more complex the item is, the more fat lipids she expends.
Momo ends up weakened if she doesn't have enough fat stored up to create things.
In order to create things she must understand it at an atomic level and so she isn't able to create things she doesn't understand at an atomic level.
Special moves
Yaoyorozu's Lucky Bag: Creating a cannon, Momo makes and shoots a bag that is filled with tools for her allies to use.
All the info above can be found on Momos wiki page :)
Questions
What is the biggest item Momo has ever created? The most complex item she has ever made? Does her body type change when she uses her quirk and does that cause her to have to constantly have clothing in all sizes?
Analysis following my own theory starts here !!
My personal theory is that her quirk is actually just an advanced metabolism. The way she trains her quirk in canon is much more aligned with the metabolism idea. During the training camp arch she continually eats while making things. After eating things they don't turn directly into fat lipids, making it much more likely she's using the energy from the food than the fat lipids.
There is also no noticeable change in her body type when using her quirk. I would think that expending your fat lipids to create things would make a change in your body type, so the lack of a body type change makes me think that her quirk is an advanced metabolism.
All of the theories above would allow her to make a drastic change in her hero costume, because she wouldn't need as large of a space create things. I'll probably touch on that during another rant, maybe during the support item saga :v
TLDR: A quick summary of Momos quirk and her special moves, as well as how I think her quirk would actually work.
Time for some quirk analysis!! I'm very excited to share these so you can expect them to be very long :)
Today? Mina Ashido or Pinky <3
Here starts the analysis following canon
Mina produces a corrosive liquid from her skin, her skin is resistant to said acid. Her pink skin is a result of her quirk altering her skin pigment but, unlike her skin the acid is a grey color.
Mina is able to produce high amounts of acid from her skin and is able to control its form to an extent. She can also control the levels of the levels of solubility and viscosity of her acid.
Strengths
Mina is able to produce enough acid to melt solid objects, including metal. She is able to control the level of acidity and viscosity of the acid making her quirk extremely versatile. She is also able to use her acid to make entrance and exit holes into buildings.
Along with that she can use her ability to burn holes into things to climb buildings and walls. She is also excellent at mobility, producing acid under her feet and using it to skate around.
Weaknesses
Mina's skin isn't 100% acid proof so if she produces too much acid her skin will start to wear away. She also has difficulty controlling the he levels of solubility and viscosity of her acid, which makes her wary of fighting people. Her quirk also doesn't have any strength enhancing properties, making her a bit more reliant on her quirk.
Special moves
-Acid Veil: Mina maximizes her acid's solubility and viscosity and creates a powerful acid wall which blocks incoming projectiles. (Its powerful enough to break the balls in the provisional license exam, which are harder then concrete)
-Acid shot: Mina launches a barrage of acid bullets on an opponent and their surroundings
-Acid Layback: Mina produces acid from her feet to dissolve the surface of the ground, allowing her to spin faster. With the added speed she is able to throw projectiles at a higher speed
Grape-Pinky Combo Mineta-Bounce: The follow up for Acid layback; After using acid layback Mina throws Mineta and he throws Pop-off spheres and bounces off them
-Acidman (My personal favorite <3): Increasing the viscosity of her acid, she produces a large amount in a vaguely anthropomorphic form, covering her whole body. This move is also defensive and will dissolve an attack launched at Mina
All of the info above can be found on Minas Wikipedia page ^^
Questions
Where does Mina produce the acid from? Its obviously from her skin but is it from her pores? Or does she have two sets of pores, one for the acid and one for sebum (the stuff your pores normally produce)? Is her acid just a different version of sebum that she is able to control? (After the questions there will be a section on more detail about sebum and how it relates to Minas quirk) Where does the acid come from? Does she have a place to store the acid underneath her skin? Where does the acid come from? Is it in her blood stream?
Analysis following my own theory starts here!
Sebum is what your pores produce and, it is acidic. It has a pH level of 4 to 5.5 (anything below 7 is acidic). So this begs the question, is Minas quirk just her controlling the sebum she produces? The pores that produce sebum don't exist on palms and bottoms of the feet (places we see Mina produce acid from several times) so Mina would need to have extra pores on these spots.
Assuming Minas quirk is just her controlling the sebum she produces its more then likely she would also have the needed pores to produce sebum on her palms and the bottoms of her feet. Minas quirk changes the color of her skin to be a pinkish purple, so if we stick with the idea that her quirk, rather than it being 'producing acid from the skin' and being 'manipulating the sebum she produces naturally', it could be the natural coat of sebum on her skin that has caused this change. Though that is highly unlikely, just a little end thought :)
TLDR: For the first half, I just explained Minas Strengths and weaknesses as well as her Special moves. The second half is me talking about how her quirk would work if it was based on some form of evolution.
Its time for my favorite saga! The quirk analysis saga (which I will definitely be revisiting again after I've cleared all the rants I've already written)!
I wanna start the saga off with my base theory for everything. By that I mean, this is an entire different thing from canon and is where I think quirks come from. However, in future quirk analysis's I will include one that is based on canon and one that is based on my own theory. Now onto the theory :)
I believe that quirks are advanced form of evolution. My reasoning for this is that a lot of the people of the my hero world have quirks that can be explained by evolution (ex. Mina, Momo, Bakugou, etc.). I’ll get into explanation about a lot of this evolution when it comes to specific people.
You'll see this theory used a lot when it comes to my analysis of Mina and Momos' quirks especially. But, to backtrack on what I said, I think quirks are based on evolution. Every quirk has some way to be explained via science and evolution. Looking at Mina and Momos' quirks are actually where I got this theory from! It's kina hard to explain by itself but I can tell you Minas analysis is next and so you'll see this used more there (^^)
TLDR: I think quirks are based on evolution and have evidence to base this off of that you'll see in future rants.
This one is also super short but!! Its the last of the hero costume saga! I'll be moving onto quirk theory next :)
Todays rant is the 0.5 of the positive rants. Its about Eraserhead or Aizawa!
The only real issues I have with his hero costume are his support item and the fact that he doesnt put his hair up. The support item one will come later when I do the support item saga so I'll start with the hair!
His hair is the biggest give away of when he is using his quirk so its very illogical of him to have long hair. He could cut it short and then bam! No one would be able to tell! Orrrr, if he wanted to keep it long he could just put it in a bun and then nobody would be able to tell!
There are so many simple solutions and it just bugs me that he doesnt put his hair up.
I, however, do think his overall hero costume is great for similar reasons to Tokoyami !
TLDR: Aizawa has a great hero costume that really only needs small changes to be perfect.
todays hero costume rant is actually a positive one!! Its Tokoyami! A very underrated hero imo
For starters I wanna say: The all black of his hero costume is so nice :) Its so cohesive and just ijuakjlnlklkjmergkllk PLUS THE FACT THAT HE HAS A CLOAK??? THIS MAN THOUGH OF EVERYTHING
Its like the perfect hero costume. He has boots, its not a skin-tight body suit which makes it even better. Its been shown that he can use the cloak in combat. Plus he can hide stuff behind the cloak. NOT TO MENTION HOW COOL HIS QUIRK IS JSJKKNKJNGJKREGJIJKL;;;; AND HIS BELT?? ITS SO PERFECT. THE IDEAL HERO COSTUME. This one isn't much of an analysis and is more of a "Ghost freaks out about how cool Tokoyami is" but I hope you enjoyed it non the less :)
I've already talked about how I have a lot of issues with Momos' quirk but todays rant is about her hero costume (which I talked a little bit about in the first rant which wasn't actually labeled a rant)!
As we all know, Momo has one of the worst hero costumes, both in functionality and in appearance. I wanna start with appearance since it will be the shorter of the two topics :)
Her hero costume is ugly. Plain and simple as that statement is, its true. The belt is by far my least favorite part. It has no functionality and just looks clunky and gross in contrast to the body suit. The colors of her hero costume bug me as well but not as much as a lot of the other ones. I really like the design she has on the body suit portion but that's about the only thing positive about the way it looks.
Onto functionality!!
I've discussed how I think Momos' quirk actually works-which would open up a whole world of costumes for her-but this section will be sticking with the canon explanation. For starters, the fact that she is missing the entire middle section is dangerous for so many reasons. So many important organs are exposed like that and it leaves her vulnerable.
The self on the back of her belt serves no purpose?? its supposed to be their to hold a book that contains the chemical composition of things but how is the book going to stay on the shelf when there is no way to hold it in place?? She has no pockets??? for what?? It would make so much sense if she had pockets to store snacks to help with her quirk but she just doesn't?? AND WHY DOES SHE HAVE HEELS?? WHAT IS WITH ALL THE GIRLS HAVING HEELS?? IS STEALTH NOT IMPORTANT TO HEROICS??
An extra section: The changes that I would make because I think about this a lot.
For starters, I would change the fabric all together. There is a fabric out there (that I sadly forgot the name of) that is a tightly knit mesh. When something punctures it, it makes space for that object and then when the object it removed it closes the space. This is the fabric I would make her hero costume out of because she could just make things and the fabric would create the space for her to produce it.
I would give her pockets!! As I mentioned before its ridiculous that she doesn't have pockets. I think she deserves them :)
If she really wanted a hole in her hero costume I would move it to her back. There is more space there and she wouldn't have to wear something so revealing.
GET RID OF THE SWIMSUIT-ESK BODYSUIT AND GIVE HER SOME SHORTS!! Plus revamp her belt and give that pockets as well as making it less clunky. Plus she could probably fit a much smaller version of that big ass book in one of the pouches a belt would bring.
Aaaaaand finally! I'd remove the dumb heels on her boots.
TLDR: Momo has such a bad hero costume and there are tones of improvements that could be made.
The infamous: Midnights hero costume !
I would hope that we can all come to an agreeance that her hero costume is the worst, even surpassing my hatred of All might's. I adore midnight as a hero but that isn't stopping me from thinking that her hero costume is shit.
For starters there is absolutely no support anywhere on her costume, both support items (there will be a separate rant about a support item for her!) and support for her tits. Like guys,,, she's gonna have such bad back pain. On the note of physical issues as well, what are those handcuffs? They are pointless and have to distracting in battle. The fact that she can fight with those AND in heels amazes me. The handcuffs don't even have a chain connecting them so they can't even be used to apprehend anyone. If anything she should have one pair of handcuffs (like actual functioning handcuffs) on just one of her wrists.
Also, her hero costumes color scheme is bad :( Its not cohesive at all. I think its the yellow or the red that really throws it off. In my opinion If you replaced either all the yellow with red or vise versa it would look better. The thigh-highs that she has on also bug me because they are like a completely different color from everything else.
TLDR: midnight has by far the worst hero costume, from the lack of support both physically and quirk based, the horrible color scheme and unnecessary elements.
(her boots are kinda ugly too :/ thats really just a personal opinion tho)
something that I like about tsuyus hero costume is that it’s not skin tight, she needs the slight bagginess to move better and I like they didn’t use the bullshit “skin tight suit that expands with the wearer” excuse that’s always used
This!! I totally agree! Plus without a skin tight suit she could use the bagginess to her advantage!
Back to another costume-and all around hero course student-that I love! Tsuyu Asui, Tsu, Froppy, etc. I think she has immense potential as a hero and that her hero costume is one, if not the best, of the girls hero costumes (In 1-A that is)!
For starters, the color scheme of the entire costume is so nice and cohesive,,,it all just works so well together. PLUS!! Her costume makes so much sense when you take her quirk and what kind of hero she is going to be into account. Its a bodysuit with a piece that covers her face, like scuba gear. She has a frog based quirk so it only makes sense she would wanna be a hero who works in the water!
top of all of that, her potential as a hero just in general? She has one of the most versatile quirks in 1-A that has little to no risk of causing unwanted damage to the property in the area and other people. She will probably have one of the lowest property damage rates and causality rates.
PLUS HER POTENTIAL FOR HERO MERCH??? THE GAYS AND FROG LOVERS WILL EAT HER MERCH UP. I know for a fact I would by a Froppy umbrella. With a name like 'The rainy season hero: Froppy' she could make so much merch for when it rains but its not even just limited to that, the Froppy figures would be so cool because of her mobility.
She genuinely has the best potential to become one of the top pro heroes and I hope she goes so far. SHES EVEN CANONICALLY DESCRIBED AS HAVING NO WEAKNESSES <33
TLDR: Tsu has one of the best hero costumes and has some of the best potential as a hero and for hero merch
Just look at how nice it is <3
The hero costume saga continues! On todays episode we have: All might
All might has (in my opinion) some of the worst hero costumes, they aren't the worst but they are pretty close to being the worse. One could say (this is probably the only thing I like about his hero costumes color schemes) that his hero costumes are based on old American heroes, most of which were printed in the colors red, blue and, white. So it would make sense that he would chose those colors for his hero costume but HE CHOOSES THE MOST SATURATED VERSION OF EACH COLOR?? FOR NO REASON??
Each color on his hero costume is very distracting and each hero costume that he has had doesn't really have a dominant color, there is not even color distribution at all. From a technical standpoint his hero costumes are all right. There are a few support items that could be added (ex something to absorb the impact when he lands from his giant leaps) but his costume is overall sound technically. Its only from an aesthetic standpoint that his hero costume bugs me (I'm also very biased seeing as all might is one of my least favorite heroes and my hero characters in general).
His best costume would have to be his debut costume (I think its his debut costume). It looks the most cohesive, the only issue I have with it is that the cape matches nothing else on the costume.
TLDR: All Might's hero costume(s) is(are) ass from an aesthetic standpoint and is alright but could be improved from a technical standpoint.
(the best hero costume imo ^)
THE NEXT FEW RANTS ARE GONNA BE ABOUT HERO COSTUMES I THINK ARE GOOD OR BAD! (I think most of the hero costumes in bnha are bad these are just a few of the worst imo, like Bakugou isn't gonna be apart of the next few rants but I still think his hero costume is bad)
I wanna start this saga off with a positive note before I go into the bad hero costumes (there will be 2.5 more positive rants in this saga so expect those at some time)
STARTING OFF ON THE HIGHEST OF HIGH NOTES: Ms. Joke! I genuinely believe she has one of the best hero costumes out there. Her hero costume looks so good like omg. The color scheme is so nice AND the pirate motif?? So fucking good. Plus she's got an amazing support item. I just wanna personally thank whoever designed her hero costume. Like, it makes sense with her quirk, none of the costume is unnecessary or clunky and disruptive when it comes to hero work. Plus it all works from an aesthetic standpoint. Her hero costume genuinely looks like it was made for athletic wear and that just makes me so happy. TLDR: Ms. Joke has the best hero costume for several reasons.
((one of) her support item(s) seen above)
THE ECONOMY??? WHAT??? Yes, yes, I can hear you now "but Ghost!! Why are you so distressed about the economy of a fictional world?” To that, my dear reader, I say, I don't know. I had this thought at like 2am last night. It’s all I've thought about for the past few days, so here it is! Basically, if heroes are paid by the government and the government receives that money to pay them back from tax payers. That seems normal right? That’s how schools are funded. But if heroes have to pay for the damage the cause (as shown by mt. lady) and get paid based on how they perform, then what if they just didn't pay for the damages, causing the taxes to go up?
Also, if they performed well but caused a lot of damage (endeavor), wouldn't the taxes in the areas those hero patrol in/mainly work be extremely high? Wouldn't that make people move out? Causing at lot of the other things that are paid for by tax payers to go without pay, making the areas property value go down and basically become deserted?
As a final message: Heroes are unethical (among other things). This rant is just one of my many reasonings for "the bnha government (derogatory)
??to start off, its her quirk explanation makes 0 sense. She supposedly uses the fat lipids of her body to create things but after she uses her quirk there is no change to her body type at all?? and like, its not that bnha doesn't have quirks that showcase a very obvious body type change, fat gum and enigma are right there (which by the way, momo interning with fat gum would have been amazing for so many reasons). In addition to that, her training during the camp?? just??? what??? food doesn't immediately turn to fat after eating it, it turns to energy.
Which brings me to the point of: Its highly likely that momos quirk turns energy into things instead of fat lipids. If we go with the idea that some quirks are just mutated versions of things people already could do (example: Minas quirk could very well be her just being able to control her pores and sebum), her quirk could just be an mutated metabolism. Plus that opens a whole new world for hero costumes, if she doesn't use fat lipids she doesn't need giant amounts of skin showing to create something (which even if we went with the canon way her quirk works, her back could be exposed instead of her entire front side, exposing all her internal organs) and instead could use much smaller sections.
There are also just so many issues I have with her hero costume. Again, her internal organs are all exposed, her her costume provides no protection against anything. Plus its ugly. AND the people who made it just gave it no thought that they were giving it to a 16 year old??? a small detail but how in the world is the book that she keeps on that weird shelf thing (that's probably a pain in the ass for several reasons, I mean, its on her back so she cant see it at all so how many times do you think she's bumped into something because of it)?
for her winter costume they just give her a cape??? and expect her to deal with it?? what???? Honestly momo is just really poorly thought out and it deeply upsets me. RIGHT I FORGOT!! for the training camp, what she canonically does aligns with the idea that her quirk is based on the energy she gets from food and not fat lipids. She continually eats food while producing things, again food doesn't instantly turn into fat lipids so it makes sense that she's using the energy from to food to make things instead. That also gives her the abilities to optimize her quirk by finding foods that work well with a fast metabolism and eat those instead.
