Also the fact that it's a limiting belief where we stop ourselves from enjoying luxury because in your head it roots from something evil. If you will resist privileges and think everyone who enjoys it is morally wrong then you won't ever be able to hold a position of power. You will always be destined for a failure if that's what you are feeding yourself.
Btw, that idea that privilege makes you morally evil and suffering makes you morally good is just repackaged versions of the Christian concepts of the evils of luxury and the holiness of martyrdom. Hope this helps!
