"takes me about an hour to bond familiars" i say forgetting that notn makes the webbed site crawl around on its hands and knees like a businessman after work hours at his local BDSM dungeon.
You can do it buddy. Safe word is Chartreuse.
Drew a bunch of dergs (more of draconic critters but still)
was in a drawing mood so i drew a dragon. because that is 90% of what i make ever.
average copper dragon, mostly just a concept for smthn i may or may not commit to as a story. very basic premise but i think as a genre dragon fantasy stories are missing a lot of shit where nobody has sex. like why is there more pages of smut than mentions of dragons. give me a nerd of a protagonist. give me a character who just doesn't need some random man/woman carnally.
the day that "dragon book" actually means "story with a focus on dragons" and not "this is actually a romance novel and your main character is still going to have a heavy focus on how much they want to fuck the love interest INSTEAD of devoting page time to the beautiful lizards" is the day i will ascend
if one of you mfers tells me to read fourth wing i'm exorcising you
on that note i want to see more xenofiction about dragons that's made for more mature audiences. wings of fire is still for a teenage age range... let the dragons swear y'all.
give the dragons significant problems that cannot be solved with the powers of friendship and keep them as draconic as they should be. the world will delight.
i love how tumblr is the "idgaf i'm rambling" site. absolutely made for me
a little ironic that i complain about things focusing more on sex and people than dragons in the post that was supposed to be about dragons. whoops.
copper dragons are 1 of 3 dragon species in this potential universe. they're the most common dragon species (not that this is saying much) and are fantastic all rounders. they are the one dragon species capable of breathing fire via an organ in their throat. as the name implies, these dragons are the color of copper and are primarily orange/brown with blue/grey/green/turquoise spread all along their body. they have no different underbelly color. coppers live in a variety of areas; among dragons they are the most versatile. they prefer forested areas with access to caves and mountains, and are the most territorial dragon species. fun little bastards.
less importantly, in universe these are the dragons the main character is supposed to have, and then ends up getting later on. a bit of poor luck there!
Dragons are so cool
they want you to make fried rice
As we were doing our FRFanArt thing, we noticed some strange behavior in posts. Be wary of Read Mores that look like this:
This (Read More) isn't a read more, but a hyperlink to a suspicious site.
Further, the images in the posts contain hyperlinks to the same site; thankfully, Tumblr previews links in images.
And finally? They're reposting your art and your posts word for word in order to this. The most recent posts I observed went up about 20 hours ago.
If you see someone doing this, report and block.

made myself a personal poster for my room here’s a slice of it because I like the colors
Meet Socks!
I think a lot about how we as a culture have turned “forever” into the only acceptable definition of success.
Like… if you open a coffee shop and run it for a while and it makes you happy but then stuff gets too expensive and stressful and you want to do something else so you close it, it’s a “failed” business. If you write a book or two, then decide that you don’t actually want to keep doing that, you’re a “failed” writer. If you marry someone, and that marriage is good for a while, and then stops working and you get divorced, it’s a “failed” marriage.
The only acceptable “win condition” is “you keep doing that thing forever”. A friendship that lasts for a few years but then its time is done and you move on is considered less valuable or not a “real” friendship. A hobby that you do for a while and then are done with is a “phase” - or, alternatively, a “pity” that you don’t do that thing any more. A fandom is “dying” because people have had a lot of fun with it but are now moving on to other things.
I just think that something can be good, and also end, and that thing was still good. And it’s okay to be sad that it ended, too. But the idea that anything that ends is automatically less than this hypothetical eternal state of success… I don’t think that’s doing us any good at all.
It started with my friend saying Industrial Complex region is too complicated for them.
