Imagine being too pregnant to drive. Your belly is not being able to fit behind the steering wheel unless you lean far back. So far back that the taut heavy womb presses up against your lungs, making it hard to breathe. Instructions about driving while pregnant cautions against breaking or making sharp turns, lest the action jostle the babies inside and distract the driver, or the precariously overfilled womb lists to the side slightly, and accidentally breaking the thin membrane holding it all back. Imagine being confined to your home not being able to go anywhere because the steering wheel digs painfully and dangerously into the thin overtaxed surface of your enormous burgeoning womb. Every flutter, every subtle movement a veiled threat of water gushing forth between your legs.

My poor womb, taxed beyond relief as the slight bumps in the road create subsequent tsunami's of rollings and kicks within. Not only testing my skin elasticity but also my attention of the world around me. Knowing I'm so full of life, quite literally overflowing with it in all forms, in the breasts, hips, thighs, and most certainly belly, I can't afford to lose focus. Each day I fight this struggle as my small frame gets more and more overwhelmed by this 5 peas-in-a-pod that have taken up permanent residence inside my womb.
