This spell was made to be super quick and simple, I hope it helps people the same way it helps me.
You’ll need one lemon, a way to heat the juice, and a white candle
• Press 1 lemon and heat the juice. • Place the candle in front of you and light it. Breathe in and out and focus on your anxiety. • Hold your drink before your eyes and concentrate on pouring your energy in it. (Optional) Say: “I hereby banish anxiety from my body and mind for these are mine and no one else’s.” • Drink the hot lemon juice. • Simply watch the candle burn for a few seconds, visualize it burning your anxiety away, then blow the candle.
This also works for emotional shocks.
Lavender Syrup!
I know there are a ton of recipes out there, but this one's mine. I put in a lot more lavender personally.
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water (here's an opportunity to use moon water for extra energy. Full moon water can boost the lavender correspondences for psychic awareness and love, while water charged in phases leading up to the new moon can boost lavender's ability to banish/protect from depression and anxiety)
- 4 tablespoons lavender- Peace/anti-anxiety, happiness, love, sleep, psychic awareness/ability, creativity, protection from ill treatment.
- purple food coloring (optional)
Instructions:
Warm the water and sugar, mixing till it dissolves, then add the lavender and mix well. When the water is boiling, lower it to simmer, cover, and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. If you leave it for longer, it will become bitter. Then strain into a bottle, and THEN add the food coloring if you want. This syrup is not meant to be very thick, so that it mixes easily with cold drinks just as well as warm. If you want it to be thicker, add more sugar.

Kyoto Bean Soup
👽1 tablespoon vegetable oil
👽1 red onion, finely chopped
👽4-6 pieces thick-sliced unsmoked bacon, chopped
👽1 carrot, coarsely chopped into chunks
👽4 ounces burdock root, peeled and coarsely chopped, soaked in water
👽4 cups (1 pound) Chinese cabbage, coarsely chopped
👽4 medium rutabagas, peeled and cut into bite-sized chunks
👽4 ¾ cups dashi broth (recipe here)
👽4 tablespoons sake
👽3-4 tablespoons light soy sauce
👽1 cup canned cannellini beans, drained
👽2 tablespoons medium-colored miso paste
👽salt to taste
👽2 scallions, finely chopped
👽2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
🌵This is a Japanese interpretation of Tuscan bean soup. Like its Italian counterpart, this soup is wholesome and nourishing. The addition of miso paste gives a hidden depth without changing the character of the soup. I use canned cannellini beans for convenience, but you can substitute any beans of your choice. If you are using dried beans, soak them with three times their volume of water overnight and cook slowly until soft.
🌙Step 1:Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over a moderate heat and saute the onion until softened but not browned.
🌙Step 2: Add the bacon and cook for 5 minutes before adding the carrot, burdock, cabbage, and rutabagas. Saute until soft.
🌙Step 3: Pour in the dashi broth and season with sake and soy sauce. Bring to a boil, skimming off any scum that floats to the surface. Reduce the heat to low/moderate and add the beans. Let simmer for 15 minutes.
🌙Step 4: Stir in the miso paste gently and adjust the seasoning with salt. Ladle into warmed soup bowls. Garnish with the chopped scallions and sesame seeds and serve.
its fucking dember.
Y’all this is seriously a game changer!!
As a college student, I’m super broke and haven’t wanted to buy sachets for spells, but I have a solution! Just use an envelope instead! You can get a whole box for like $3 (or you probs already have some) and they work just like a sachet: you put your herbs, pieces of paper, little crystals, etc. inside.
You can also decorate them with designs, colors, and sigils that correspond to the spell you’re doing! The one in this picture is a love spell I made for a friend! Art isn’t your thing? Just use stickers! Washi tape!
You can carry them around easily and discreetly too. You could even mail a spell to a friend! And add a layer of enchantment to bless your postal delivery person while they’re carrying the spell :)
✨✨
Addition: As the lovely @crystal-w0lf added to the comments, you can also bury them for offerings or protection spells!!!
1) Basic Cooking : This is probably pretty obvious and most people interested in kitchen witchcraft know at least the basics. But if you don’t - learn. You can do kitchen magic without even turning on a stove (sandwiches, salads, etc)
2 ) Cooking From Scratch : Start with basics and get more complicated. Basic things can include - Soups, Sauces, Marinated or Seasoned Meat, Potato Dishes.
3 ) Baking and Baking From Scratch : Baking from a box is perfectly valid. you can add things like fruit or nuts, you can make frostings or fillings, you can decorate. But baking from scratch is also a good skill. Pies, Pastries, Cakes, Etc. Also remember savory baking (like bread, meat pies, etc)
4 ) “Drink Potions” : Any drink really. Coffee, Tea, Juice, Milkshakes, Etc
5 ) Canning, Pickling, Preserving : I have limited experience in this, but there are lots of recipes for “Freezer Jam” or “Refrigerator Pickles” and im going to start with them.
6 ) Cheese Making, Yogurt Making : Another thing i have no experience in, but you can buy kits online for a decent price.
I am rather new to the witch community on tumblr but I have been interested in witchcraft for years. I have come upon a reoccurring thing, many of my friends I wish to magically aid through teas and herbal brews, do not like the taste of tea. I have found that mixing herbal blends or herbs representing what you wish to occur into soups and broths work just as well! In fact if you choose the right soup you can get sometimes better results I have found. Soup mimics tea by being easily drank and can be served warm and hot, which I find very comforting.
First it is important to choose a soup or broth that goes well taste wise with the herbs you wish to use. You want it to taste pleasant for yourself or the one you are providing it to. Though, try to find a soup or stock or broth that corresponds with what you wish to achieve with the herbs to further strengthen and increase the outcome you wish.
